Most Helpful Positive Review Dusky Woods Trio
I wanted to refresh my makeup bag with environmentally safe and natural products. I saw really good reviews for these products and I am so happy I decided to switch to Burt's Bees.
That being said, I love this eyeshadow pallet! It's one of the best ones I have ever used and I so happy to recommend this product! This is my first time buying makeup from Burt's Bees makeup and I'm so glad I bought this! Even though I have oily skin, these eyeshadow colors worked really on my eyes. Usually I have problems with eyeshadow smudging or cracking but I've been wearing this eyeshadow all day and not once has it given me problems.
Shipping came in real quick! Packaging was neat, clean and free from dents or stains. I can't say this enough, I definitely recommend this product!
Most Helpful Critical Review Disappointing Product
I recently bought the Countryside Lavender trio and was excited to try the product for a more natural purple eye look. However, no matter how much I tried to work with the shadow I could barely get any pigment out of it. The darker purple matte shade was the best out of the trio but it was still difficult to build up minimal color. The top whiteish matte blended out into nothing. The middle light purple shade was extremely dry and I couldn't get any pigment from it whether I used my fingers or a brush. It was like I didn't even pick up any shadow from the pan. I really wanted to like this product since it was all natural and the color selection was nice, but it's definitely not worth purchasing the purple trio. I understand that because it's all natural that it might not be as pigmented as other eyeshadows, but that doesn't mean that it should barely have any pigment at all. I can't speak for the other trios, but the Countryside Lavender is definitely a hard pass.

I really like Burt Bee's products. Natural, great ingredients and I so look for "not tested on animals"

Love these for a day OR nighttime smokey. Smooth, blendable, soft colors for my sensitive eyes. More please!!
Works for Sensitive Eyes but DOES NOT LAST
Bella from New York
I will commend this product for being the first eyeshadow to not irritate or dry out my sensitive eyes, but my problem with it is that the colors are not pigmented well and it does not last at all. All those reasons also make the price seem absurd.
I like and use the eye shadow about every day
Ann2 from Plano
I purchased eye shadow, eye liner and mascara from the BB line. I really do like the eye shadow. I have sensitive eye lids and this seems to be very gentle on them. I wear the shadow pretty much every day. I wish it had a little more "pop" to it, but, it's a really good daytime eye shadow. I have to of the pallets and I'm enjoying them.

I love it, although hard to take off sometimes. but amazing none the less!
I would not order again

I wear eye shadow daily, & this one does not hold long. It creases within a couple of hours.

I love this palette. It's a good neutral that goes with most things. There's more color payoff than Clinique but not as much as my Too Faced palettes. Burt's Bees is what I pack when I'm traveling. I still have shadow on at the end of the day.

I ordered the Shimmering Nude palette and think it works great! A nice every-day eyeshadow. I plan to order the other palettes now!
Great, long wearing NATURAL eyeshadow!
NCmomma from North Carolina
I give any new skincare or makeup at least several wears (at least a month for skincare) prior to giving a review. I was looking for a great eyeshadow, that didn't have questionable ingredients and did not cost an entire paycheck. This checks both of those boxes. I had zero fallout and this formula was easily buildable for me. The darker purple wore perfectly as an eyeliner as well when applied with an eyeliner brush. I look forward to trying other colors as well! I highly recommend!
No idea how this has good reviews
The Raven from California
This is terrible. Maybe you need eyeshadow primer to make it stick and stay. I did a search on my hand and it barely had any pigment. I tried to gently rub it to see how well it would blend and it rubbed right off. No pigment left behind.
I grabbed a shadow brush, packed the powder on there and tapped it onto my eyelid. I dated not try to blend or if just brush it all away again. The middle color had no pigment.
The tip color kind of stayed but I had to pack it on. A few blinks later and my naturally long lashes brushed it all off. And the little bit of pigment that was there was gone.im giving it to my friend for her young daughter to play with.
When I first swatched it with my finger it felt very grainy and rough. Like itty bitty pebbles were being rubbed on my hand.
Good quality overall
Echo79 from Fort Myers, Florida
I have very very sensitive eyes and this was a good product that didn't really irritate me at all. The middle shade is much more of a copper color in person that is really pretty so I didn't mind it. I will say that you very much need to use an eyeshadow primer with this product because the shades are not very pigmented and may fade even more the longer you wear it. Also important to note is that it comes off very easily with just plain water, so if it's raining or you cry it is going to come off.
Needs a few darker color palettes
Country Lavender from Bismarck, ND
I wish I had seen these reviews before purchasing. For me as it was for other users, the pigment was not dark enough to show up on my eyes. I purchased the Country Lavender palette of 3 (I have an olive skin tone) and tan Mediterranean skin. This palette was the darkest tone I could find. It seems like high quality pigment, and does not make my eyes sting like my other makeup. A few darker palettes for those of us who have a tan or brown skin tone would be nice. Skin comes in all colors! A deeper purple would be a good addition, maybe some more blue and green tones as well. I also was hoping to use this as eyeliner but I can't see it.

Really nice soft coverage for a natural look. Super happy with this eyeshadow, and glad that it is good for my eyes!
Talc-free eyeshadows, perfect for simple looks
Daphne from North Carolina
When I was younger I was really into eyeshadow and owned a lot of palettes, but my tastes have changed and I like a more simple look these days and this little Dusky Woods quad is perfect! The matte cool brown works great as a crease shade if you layer it lightly, but it can also be used as liner or to emphasize the outer corner. The matte cream is a good brow bone highlight and the shimmery copper shade is really pretty on the lid.
LOVE COUNTRYSIDE LAVENDAR TRIO
Jody R from Irvine, CA
I love this trio and even though these trio's aren't as pigmented as I'd like, I use a base to help them go on darker. I use Mineral Fusion eye shadow base and my shadows stay put all day and don't fade. I also layer them on more heavy. You can wet them, too. I would love to see more matte shades in the future as well.
Perfect for me

I love this eyeshadow trio. I bought the Countryside Lavender, which is perfect for my eye color and skin tone. I love that it's soft and natural looking; it's exactly what I was looking for.
Alexandra from New York
First of all, I love the cute honeycomb packaging! A lot of thought goes into these BB products, and I don't think the brand gets enough credit for it. I was pleasantly surprised by the amazing quality of these shadows and that they don't irritate my sensitive eyes. I used my Bobbi Brown liner brush to apply the dark brown shade as a liner and it had a great color payoff (with primer potion). The middle color looked like a pretty basic brown shadow, which is very safe for work. The light shade is a good matte highlighter that's again a good bet if you don't want shimmer and glitter.
A little disappointed
Noelle919 from Arizona
I was so excited for a more natural eyeshadow, and got the lavender set, but it looks way more purple on my phone than what I received. It has more of a brown undertone in person. Also two of the slots had fallen out and will continue to do so if it gets turned upside down
save your money

I bought this because I love the brand. I was super disappointed with the product. The is hardly any color when you put it on the lid. and it doesn't last at all.
Love the creamy eyeshadows

I just wish you had some all matte trios too. They would be awesome for us ladies with fine lines.
Great for fall!
Cori Renee from Indiana
I purchased dusky woods. I was very surprised by this product, since it is a drug store product. I expected it to be fairly light in color payoff as most drug store eyeshadow is. However, it's not to light but not too dark either. It makes a great fall smokey eye look. And it lasts a decent time even without eyeshadow primer.
Ok, for everyday.
Lany from Prairie du Chien, WI
I thought Nude color trio to be extremely light where multiple layers were definitely needed to be seen and I thought it was odd the there was no applicator. Over-all I think it's fine for everyday but I'm not sure if I would purchase this color again.
Love the colors, but medium pigment is lacking
Amy CD from Washington, D.C.
I use both the blooming desert and countryside lavender. I wanted something with fun colors and a natural look that wouldn't stand out too boldly. As a trio, the blooming desert works better for me, as all three colors are apparent. Sadly, I pretty much only use the darkest purple of the countryside lavender. No matter how much I pick up with my brush or how many layers I apply, the light colored purple barely looks any different from my natural skin tone. I also have issues with it creasing, but that's probably because I need a matte powder over my foundation before applying. Hopefully, anyway.
Easy, perfect, beautiful eye look!
mihoney from Dallas, Texas
I have this in Dusky Woods and I looooove it so much! I don't do crazy eye looks and mostly just stick to neutral/ nude/ warm bronzey look and this is exactly what this eye shadow trio gave me. It's so quick and easy to use and for someone like me who sucks at using eye shadows I managed it get beautiful eye looks with this so that says a lot.
Like the shades, wish for more options
HS4HMOM from Colorado
I like the coverage. I would like to see individual options and more matte options since I avoid the shimmery eye shadow. Creams would be a nice option as well.
