Most Helpful Critical Review A decent every-day scrub I'm going between all-natural/DIY skincare and purchasing. It might be that I convert completely to the DIY, but at this point, I do like being able to grab a cleanser and use it rather than having to mix something up in the kitchen.
I have been doing a double-cleanse routine for some time, and at night, I like using this as my second cleanse to make sure I get all the gunk and to exfoliate. It is a decent cleanser, but not great. Honestly, I think if it wasn't for the exfoliating grains, it would be pretty unimpressive. So far, I haven't been super impressed with e.l.f skincare, but I keep trying.
Anyhow, my one issue with this one is that the little exfoliating grains are so fine that they seem to often sneak into my eyes and under my contacts, no matter how I try to avoid my eyes. It's in the rinsing that they lodge into my lashes and migrate to my eyeball where they make me suffer all night or at least until I give up and take out my long-wear contacts (kinda defeating the point of the long-wear part) and rinse my eyes.
I got this at a great price, which is what I do, because I'm cheap. But honestly, I don't think I'd order it again. However, I gave a more generous rating, because for some people it might be exactly what they need, and I don't actually have any real complaints against it. It's just not all that special.

Almost identical formula and feel as St. Ives walnut scrub at a cheaper price. Feels nice and does the job, although I wish it had a little more grit - it seems a bit too fine to really get in and exfoliate my skin.

It's not an acne treatment, but the texture is great and gentle, hardly feels gritty. And my skin feels fabulous and smooth and much more accepting of the moisturiser I follow with.

I bought this 2 weeks ago and I love it. My face was severely broke out every product I tired didn't work. A couple of days after using this product my face started to clear up. It's very gently on your skin and easy to use so I will continue to buy this product

I have pretty nice skin. I wanted to try this exfoliating scrub because I don't exfoliate. This broke my skin out so bad. :( It made my skin have so many breakouts in places I don't normally break out.

Affordable. Has a nice scrubbie feel but doesn't rip my skin the shreds. It seems like the right amount of grit - if that makes sense.
I use it every three days or so. I will definitely repurchase.
No noticeable smell to me.

I advise you to use this product as it helped me si much. I had after acne marks on my skin, it literary cleaned them away. I'll reorder this.

Not all scrubs are terrible but this has Walnut AND Apricot and will be harsh on your skin. You might not notice but this is really damaging long term. If you want you exfoliate look for chemical exfoliants. They sound harsh but they're more gentle than physical scrubs. You could use the Paulas Choice BHA toner, or the ordinary lactic acid serum once a day. When exfoliating don't follow the directions immediately. Start with maybe once every other day so your skin can adjust. If you have sensitive skin be careful but trust me this is better for your sensitive skin than physics exfoliants.

I usually stay away from cheap brands such as E.L.F., however, I'm glad I made this purchase. This offers a gentle exfoliation that makes your skin so smooth without irritation. Way better than R+F microdermabrasion paste.

I see some of the reviews that are warning against walnut scrub... this one is very very fine, not as course at say St.Ives or something. Use only once or twice a week, ya'll. It's very gentle on my sensitive skin.

I really liked the texture, normally I find that the beads of exfoliation are either too big or too small but these were perfect. I felt like it was taking off the dead skin but not harming my skin at the same time. I can't wait to continue using this product.
