Comments about Miss Spa Exfoliate Foot Booties:

I use these booties every 2-3 months to extend my pedicure life/keep my callouses in check. For the record, I'm on my feet a lot and before finding this product I was using salon-level callous remover or getting a pedicure monthly. Using this product I have really kept my callouses and cracking in check.

For the record, you need to do a little extra prep work to get this product to work quickly.

First, you need to clean your feet well and soak in warm water for 10-15 minutes to soften the skin prior to using. I also use a pumice stone to rough up the skin and a scrub to make sure I am starting with a clean base.

Then put the booties on. I leave them on for the 30 mins. I have seen reviews to leave them on for up to an hour--seriously, don't bother. I prefer to rinse the product off, though you don't have to. Apply a thick lotion, and voila.

To speed up the peel process you NEED to soak your feet daily. 10-15 mins in warm water. Apply thick lotion. I usually start peeling on day 3 doing this. When you start peeling, I recommend using a gentle scrub or a scrub glove and gentle rubbing to get all of the dead skin off. It usually takes 2-3 days for me to stop peeling.

And keep moisturizing! This product works best if you put in a little effort to help it work the best.

I don't think this product works any better or worse than another well known, more expensive product.

I love to use this product once a month. It continues to eliminate old layers of skin for about a week. I then soak my feet to hasten the process.

Comments about Miss Spa Exfoliate Foot Booties:

I have average feet in regards to softness and roughness. I have the typical rough heel and small calluses around my toes. Was hoping this bootie would get rid of those completely after the peel process. Using the booties were easy, I didn't mind sitting with my feet propped up for a couple hours. I didn't notice any peeling on my feet until 6 days after initial use. Then the peeling didn't stop for a week. Even my ankles were shedding (wearing black socks was a nightmare, like my ankles had dandruff). This was the worst part; I couldn't wear sandals (I live in Florida), and even my boyfriend noticed how gross it looked. After the peeling stopped, I noticed that my feet were softer, but not baby-smooth or my initial concerns eliminated. Probably wouldn't use again. I'll stick with a pumice stone.

I used these once, and it wasn't too bad. Definitely took some getting used to the sensation of my feet encased in cold liquid. I didn't see the results right away, but starting a few days later my feet started peeling BADLY. Which I know is the whole point, but this was extreme. The skin on my feet started peeling off in thick layers, and no matter how much I massaged lotion or oil into my feet they would just shed huge white chunks of dead skin for days and days afterwards. Once the peeling stopped... my feet were somewhat softer but I really didn't see enough of an improvement to warrant putting up with the scary amount of shedding.

I didn't realize this would exfoliate like this. I had peeling after three days, and my feet are still peeling over a week later. Certain parts are peeling less, and now the parts that are still going aren't as intense. However, I really want it to stop as it's starting to get annoying. The tops and sides are peeling, and the tops are too sensitive for a proper pumice stone. My feet weren't that dry to begin with and they now feel exactly the same as before.
