How to Use

I have searched so many places and I never find it. I finally found the shampoo taking my niece to college in Boston in a Target and I live in Brooklyn. Anyway I'm in search for the conditioner. Not many places has the shampoo for blondes "Salt and Pepper" only for other hair colors. PS: I donated 15 inches to locks for love. I just turned 50.Most Helpful Critical ReviewNothing out of this world.I received the sample of both the shampoo and the conditioner complimentary of Influenster. I was really excited to try this since I have been dying my hair blonde for the last 10 years. My hair tends to hold on to color for a while but if I am not using a color treated shampoo then it begins to fade or turn gray/brassy. I wanted to use the shampoo and conditioner three times before writing the review that way I would have a better understanding on how the product did over time with my hair. I will now review what I thought about the shampoo. The first thing that I noticed is the fragrance! In my opinion by far the best thing about this product! It's amazing. A lot of shampoos that are for color treated hair aren't as potent and don't seem to last once you get out of the shower. This fragrance does and lasts a couple of days. If you aren't into floral that smell a bit on the lavender side I would say stay away, but I absolutely loved it. So kudos on the smell. Con: If you have a lot of hair, thick and long, you have to use a lot of product in order for you to get a good wash. I do not wash my hair everyday but if you are a person who does and has very thick long hair I could see you going through this rather quickly. PRO TIP: What I did to get the product to cover my head was to go under the shower head for 2 seconds in between putting more shampoo in-that way it would get more sudsy. Pro: Leaves hair very shiny! I noticed after letting my hair air dry (I barely every use a hair dryer) and then curling there was a lot more shine that what I was used to! It also lightened my tresses slightly and brought my highlights out as well. Was very happy about that. Con: For some reason it left the ends of my hair dry. Although since I was using this product and wanted to see how well it did without additional products I do tend to use on the regular a leave in conditioner. But I do think it left my hair dryer than normal. Overall: This product is ok. I don't think I would go out and personally purchase this myself but I did enjoy trying it and will use the rest of it to see if using it for a longer period of time will actually bring better results.
