I don't like to spend a lot on my skin care products. I've found that Curel and Suave products tend to work very well for the most part. But of all of the facial moisturizers I've tried, the Murad Essential-C line is the best and is well worth the extra cost. It absorbs quickly and leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth. My skin tends to be dry, but it doesn't normally absorb other moisturizers very well. My skin has reacted very well to Murad. I use it in the morning and in the evening and have noticed a difference in my skin texture. Very nice! The scent is a bit unusual. Not offensive in any way, but you might want to see if you like it before making your final purchase.
I really liked this moisturizer. I normally have oily/combination skin, but it was very dry this winter. This product felt great on, smelled good and had some really beneficial ingredients. My skin is sensitive-it gets red and irritated easily, but this product did not cause any problems. I love that it has 30spf and not just 15spf. I just wish it wasn't so expensive.

This was in my travel size purchase. I bought the bigger tube because my husband likes it and uses it everyday. The 30 SPF and that he doesn't break out; is why he likes it!

I love the Murad moisturizer with vitamin c in it. Since using it my face has been feeling so much better and it looks better. I use this before applying makeup, by itself, and after washing my face. I have oily skin and this moisturizer does not affect that. It does not make my face oilier or clog my pores.

So I love that this offers good SPF protection, and it goes on smoothly without leaving the white cast that some sunscreen moisturizers do, but my face is an oil slick within about 6 hours of putting this on. I don't even reach for it because of that. I haven't worn it under makeup because I'm honestly scared to see what would happen if I did.

I used this on and off from April-July. I don't spend a ton of time outdoors but it was nice to know that I had on some spf during my commute. my makeup went on smoothly over it, both matte and dewy primers and foundations. it was a great tube of moisturizer, but I'm not planning on buying this again at the same price.

I love this product. It has everything you need in just 1 product. I have really sensitive, oily, acne prone skin and this is the only product that works the best for me! Doesn't break me out, gives me a glow, and smells nice.

I didn't read the active ingredients closely enough to realize this has both Avobenzone and Oxybenzone in it. Both of these ingredients make me break out and cause redness (plus what they do to the ocean and how they react in chlorine).
If you use too much of this I find it is greasy and causes eye irritation. I much prefer the City Defense day moisturizer with SPF 50 and this is definitely not a substitute for that.

I use this product as my everyday daytime moisturizer. It goes on smoothly and my face feels soft and hydrated all day. For me, it works best in the Spring, Summer, and Fall but in the winter months, I have to reapply because cold weather dries my skin out. Other than that, I really like it.

I love this product. Smells great! I like that it has UV protection. For reference I have oily skin, redness issues and acne. I have noticed this is helping my complexion and has not increase oil or acne. Will buy again.

I use it every day during the summer because that's when I'm outside most of the time, non greasy, it doesn't leave that white residue like other sunscreen do.

I got a sample of this and used it quite a bit until I read the ingredients and saw how dangerous it is. Chemical sunscreens are harmful to humans and the oceans. Even if your sunscreen says it's organic, check for these dangerous ingredients because companies often find ways to label them organic because of the chemical compounds that they use. Switch to a mineral sunscreen please and please research. Some people say mineral sunscreens don't show up in UV lights, making them ineffective, but it's because mineral sunscreens don't use the same method of protection.

I used this every day and it leaves my face smelling great and feeling so soft! It doesn't break me out and I feel like the spf coverage is good enough for day to day activities. Only bad thing it is a little on the small side but a little goes a long way!

I sometimes get leary of SPF's on my face just b/c my skin is so senstive. However, I am getting older and I've come in contact with a few sun spots. So it's important for me (as well as others) to use something that can hep my skin from burning, irritation, prevent more sun spots, etc. The list goes on, you need SPF. this lotion is light weight and creamy to the touch. You need to slather it on like other lotions and its really buildable if you decide to reapply it. It does have a very DEWY look to it which I like when I want the naked look but still have the GLOW look. Plus, it does have fragance but it's refreshing and not overwhleming. Most days I use this after my moisturizer and I haven't seen any issues of it being too much, other times I have worn it alone. I think it has helped my skin overall given the complexity of the solution too. So I highly recommend to grab you one!

I have no idea how people think this stuff smells/feels like sunscreen. It does feel a little thick as soon as you put it on, but then soaks into your skin and feels like nothing is there. I only notice it when I'm working out and my face gets sweaty, but with this it honestly just makes my sweat feel creamy if that makes sense? My skin still feels like it can breathe. And the scent is light and citrusy. I LOVE this stuff. I plan on buying it every time it goes on sale.
I've been using for a little over a week, daily use, and there's barely a dent in the product. A little goes a long way.
I also really like how this makes my skin look.

i got this through tipsy. the main thing I like about it is that it's not heavy or greasy so I can use it anytime I'm going to spend a while outside without it feeling like sunscreen. ot doesnt have a strong smell.

I got this as a sample in an itsy bag and I really do like it for every day use. The smell is a nicer citrus and it feels like a medium moisturizer. I wear it under my makeup all the time and it does not cause any creases or uneven spotting. I have not worn it long enough to tell if the Vitamin C is lightening my skin at all. I can say that when I put it on my skin appears lighter and pores smaller.

Recently diagnosed with skin cancer. This is a great every day lotion with sunscreen. It has a nice light natural fragrance. Doesn't smell like a sunscreen and doesn't leave that white film like most sunscreens. Love this product.

Has a very, very mild sunscreen smell which goes away quickly after application. It's very smooth when applied and makes your skin feel very soft. Also it lasts a long time. I recently went kayaking for 4 hrs and not any sun damage was seen as compared to my legs which were applied with sport sunscreen and subsequently burned.

this is the first spf/moisturizer that i've come across that hasn't been too greasy for my skin, it sinks right into the skin and has a nice fresh subtle scent to it

I've used this as my daily moisturizer for years! It's pricey, but well worth the cost in my opinion. I'll usually buy a backup during a sale even if I won't need a new one for a few months, and I never do that with other products.
I love it because it has an effective amount of sunscreen but doesn't smell like sunscreen. Instead it has a very tolerable, light citrus smell. It's also not greasy or heavy. Perfect for everyday wear under makeup.

I LOVE this product and have been buying it since it came out. It is my favorite MURAD product. This moisturizer is never greasy and smells great (with a hint of orange).
I will drive out of my way to get this product rather than pick up something else. Definitely brand loyal to this one (just wish more of the Ulta coupons worked on it since it is a prestige brand!)...
Kels from MI
I love this moisturizer. It's not too thick and doesn't have a strong sunscreen smell. However, I used this on my neck and it broke me out with a rash. I can't use it there so I use another mineral sunscreen on my neck.

I absolutely love this. I have struggled, trying many different moisturizers. They always feel too greasy or you have to use half a bottle. THIS one, however, is so good! It smells fresh and clean without being heavily perfumed, a little really goes a long way, it feels light but deeply moisturizing. I am so cheap but will be paying full price for this.
Trisht from Missouri
Use every morning and night too.

I was excited to see this on sale, because it is normally very pricey. In my haste, I made the mistake of not checking that it was mineral and not chemical sunscreen. If you get the tiniest bit anywhere NEAR your eyes, you are in for your eyes burning for what seems like a lifetime. Even when I have been very careful with it, I have wound up with burning eyes.
My advice to anyone is to make sure you use a Mineral sunscreen/moisturizer. Kudos to Murad for being Cruelty-Free though. Make a mineral version, and I'll be back to give it 5 stars!
I recommend Juice Beauty or IT for a cruelty free moisturizer/SPF for your face...
