Most Helpful Positive Review Amazing for fine hair! I have finally found a shampoo (and conditioner) that works for my hair type. I have very fine and thin hair that gets oily very quickly. The last salon I visited used this on me and after a day of running around, my hair was still voluminous and my scalp wasn't nearly as oily as usual! I bought some for myself at Ulta and have been using it for about a week. I'm hooked. The formula is very lightweight and doesn't weigh down my hair at all. For my fellow fine haired ladies, give this a try! The only draw back is the smell. To me, it has a strong pine tree scent - kind of like a holiday candle. Not a fan, but the formula is so good that I can overlook it.
Most Helpful Critical Review This is not for me I love the coordinating conditioner, not so much this shampoo. I do not feel this shampooing cleans well. My roots STILL felt greasy after scrubbing wth the wonderfully scented lather. After 3 rounds, my scalp felt clean. While I typically wash my hair every third day, I could barely stretch this to every other day. My scalp has never felt so itchy. This led to my hair becoming very dry. I really wanted to love this. I cannot. I will continue rotating the conditioner into the mix,not the shampoo. Biosilk hydrating shampoo has worked much better for me.

I have been using this shampoo off and on for 3 years. I had a bad bad reaction to purology strength cure shampoo and this one helped get my scalp and hair back to normal. It smells like a very faint grapefruit and leave your hair soft and clean without drying out your scalp. love it and even use it now every other wash just to keep my scalp balanced.

The product smells fruity which I liked. I have fine naturally straight hair and use dry shampoo pretty often. I washed my hair with the shampoo and I felt like my hair was still dirty. I washed it again thinking maybe my dry shampoo just didn't rinse out the first time but when I blow dried my hair my scalp felt like it had left over product on it. It also made my hair kind of dry. I feel like this is good for people who wash their hair every day.

Love the light grapefruit/citrus smell. It's my go to for getting the cleanest wash. I usually wash my hair 1-2 times a week. I use dry shampoo in between. It clears out build up and gives you a real 'just been washed' feeing every time.

I am giving this product 2 stars because it does smell nice and I am sure would work for some people. I am terribly prone to product buildup, and very few shampoos leave my hair looking clean after the first few washes. I recently bleached most of my hair, and this is what my stylist told me to start using. Like i said, it was fine for the first few washes, but now I am looking for something to get the layer of gunk off of my roots.

This is a fantastic product. I have fine/ frizzy hair and this really helps to smooth the cuticle without weighing my hair down. For those that are saying their hair feels greasy or dirty- I figured out the trick! At first, I was having the same problem however because this is sulfate free- a second wash is highly recommended. The first wash breaks down the oil, and a second wash really leaves is clean, light and smooth. If you are having problems with your hair feeling weighed down, try a second wash! Instead of using a whole bunch of shampoo on 1 wash, split the product into 2 washes. You will love the results- it's magical!

I read a lot of reviews about this and I'm surprised. There's a lot of people sayin it leaves their hair greasy and in my opinion, they must not be washing properly. This shampoo lathers rich, smells sweet and is so gentle on my bleached hair. After a highlight I use this for a week to let my hair recover. I wash every day and my hair feels clean and smells good and is soft and healthy. I truly don't understand how anyone's hair could still be greasy after using this.

I am so upset at this shampoo and conditioner. I thought it was color safe but it totally stripped my color after one wash!!! I spent alot of money for my color. Sticking with Wella Brilliance.

My hair is very dry due to bleaching and over processing. Since I started using this shampoo I have seen a total 180 in my hair and it has even grown 12 inches in the year I've used it. I do have to wash my hair a little more often due to the super moisturizing properties, but it is so worth it with the difference I see in my hair.

This shampoo smells amazing and lathers really well for a sulfate free shampoo BUT my hair would feel/look right greasy after washing. I can usually go up to 3 days without washing and getting oily but I would last a day or two at best with this stuff. It just didn't feel like it washed my hair thoroughly!

I'm giving this product because it is amazing. My hair is falling out less and it is so much smoother. I believe this product is organic so there is no artifical smell. The smell is not that strong, it is almost odorless. I'm not use to a shampoo that isnt strong in smell, so this took a while to get use to. But i will definitely stick to ir because my hair is showing improvement.
I love this product, but the price went up. 2

I'm generally good with any hair shampoo I've tried from Matrix, Sebastian, and Joico. Decided to give this a try and my hair feels drier than ever! It makes my scalp itch and my roots look oily even after a shower. I don't have oily hair and can get away with not washing or using dry shampoo for 3-4 days before my hair starts to look oily and this shampoo does the complete opposite. It takes a lot of work to lather the product. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

After bleacing my hair for several years I began to notice my hair was dry and difficult to manage when wet. I had to condition my hair first and then shampoo because my hair would tangle and turn into a bird nest when wet. I had immediate improvement to my hair with this line of products.

I bought this shampoo because it was one of the acne safe options recommended by my skin care person. I used it for about a year and my hair just looked terrible the entire time. It doesn't lather easily and it left my hair looking even dirtier and greasier than before I washed it. Eventually I was so sick of having gross looking greasy hair that I just decided I would rather risk acne with a different shampoo. So, yeah, this product was not for me.

Smells terrible. The consistency of the shampoo is almost gel like, takes too much work to lather. Leaves my medium hair flat and oily looking with a weird texture like I applied product when I didn't. Cannot figure out a plausable way to get rid of this garbage so I can justify replacing it. Disastrous choice on my part.

I love the scent of this shampoo. It is the one that my stylist uses on me. However, it leaves a heavy residue on my hair. Like a sticky kind of residue. I have tried to like this shampoo but it just doesn't work for my hair.

I really wanted to love this shampoo - I gave it two weeks - and ended up returning it. I usually wash my hair every 2-3 days. With this, I'd wash my hair and it would be so oily/greasy at my roots, that I was washing my hair daily. Immediately after washing and blow drying my hair, it felt oily. It smells great, but left my hair feeling gross! Big disappointment!

Over the summer, I bleached and bayalaged my hair into a broken, damaged mess. I decided to splurge on this product to help bring my hair back to life. At first, I was in love with this shampoo. It smelled heavenly and when I blew dry by hair, it had more volume and bounce than it ever had before. However, I quickly began to notice that my hair felt greasy, heavy, and thick (not in a good way). I also noticed crazy knots in my hair that I never had issues with before. Normally, I wash my hair every few days. When I used this, I would wash my hair in the evenings and wake up with greasy hair in the morning! Not even dry shampoo could help me!
Overall, I must say that I saw a difference in the health of my hair. It was soft and shiny, but I just couldn't get past the greasiness and heaviness that it caused. I wanted to love this product, but ultimately, I ended up returning it and purchasing a different brand.

I chose this because of all the things it does NOT have. Perfect for my 52 year old hair that is colored. I worry about my hair thinning but with this product I feel I have the best gentle treatment possible. It does not produce a huge lather, it won't do that because it lacks harsh ingredients. I also love the smell. I only wash twice a week to protect my color and limit the hair loss that comes with washing too often.
