Comments about La Roche-Posay Effaclar Dermatological Acne Treatment:

If I could give this 0 stars I would. All it did was give me a lot more cystic acne on my forehead. My face was finally starting to clear up before using this and I wanted to make sure it stayed that way, but this product is useless as it did nothing but break me out more.

Comments about La Roche-Posay Effaclar Dermatological Acne Treatment:

I am a 27 year old mother of 2 and I seriously thought that I'd never stop looking like a hormonal teen mom! I have been using this 3 step system on and off for 2 years. I'd always stop using because I'd switch to something new that was supposed to work better. Then I went the all natural route with essential oil blends and toners and bam. Back to this. Nothing ever took care of my deep as heck pores on my nose and tzone area, I'd get terrible cysts on my jawline and sometimes forehead that would take weeks to disappear and I have tried almost EVERY single brand out there. Anti agents i have found work best on my skin. Glycolic and aha /bha acids are my fav. LOL. But even when using exuvience, clarins, dermadoctor, and juice beauty - my pitted scars barely faded and I'd still get horrible break outs on my chin. Any storebrand, behind the counter, monthly subscription (neutrogena skinid, proactive, rodan and fields), I swear to you. You name it and I've probably given it a try!

This stuff is the bomb. Give it 14 days. 2 weeks and tell me you don't see a huge difference. You NEED a good moisturizer. The negative complaints are from individuals that need to learn how to balance their skin. I have been using clinique smart daytime lotion for the day and SKYN oxygen infusion cream at night. YES those are 2 pricey lotions but dang are they worth it if you've thrown away more money on useless products. They will easily last you 90 days. I use the spot treatment just as that.. a spot treatment. Sometimes Id put on my tzone when my pores were huge and black head filled. Again, make sure you moisturize!

Attached are photos that are a month apart. The left photo isnt even when my skin was at it's worse. I thought it looked good at the time I took it. I hate myself without makeup so I can't even believe I'm posting this on a PUBLIC WEBSITE. But the results are real. If you've ever cried over the pain you're in due to cystic acne, BUY THIS RIGHT MEOW.

Happy Mother of a 14 yrs daughter :)

      from Miami

Comments about La Roche-Posay Effaclar Dermatological Acne Treatment:

After reading all the different reviews and very concerned, on whether this product would be suitable for my 14 years old daughter. I went ahead and gave this product a try. ( with Crossing fingers) My daughter ‍♀️has sensitive and oily skin. I was skeptical, on whether to buy her this product or proactive. And today I am happy parent and glad I made the right choice, for her. Today it mark a week, my daughter using this product and we're both very happy and thankful to "God" with her results, so far. ☺️ FYI, she only washes her face at night (everyday). In the mornings, she washes her face and applying only a moisturizer, ☀️ sunblock. On another note. I NEVER write or leave any review for any product out there in the market! But this product has working and helping my daughter face . YES.....! I also understand that "Everyone" has different type of skin combinations and may or may not work for others!

My sister uses this and it has cleared up her acne as long as she actually cleans her face lol. This seems to be the only face regimen that doesn't dry, irritate, or cause more issues on her.

Comments about La Roche-Posay Effaclar Dermatological Acne Treatment:

I have adult acne, my face only clears out for few days in a month. After the first time use of this treatment, I already see the difference on my skin.I applied the products at night and it worked it's miracle overnight ,for the morning The inflamed swollen red bumps n pimples shrunk and they almost gone. I also used the little gift lipikar lotion I received at purchase for moisturizer as I read this treatment can dry my skin. I'm looking forward to the upcoming days to see my skin clear and smooth!

While this product was effective in reducing my adult acne it came at a cost. My skin became very irritated, red and dry which led to a whole new set of issues. I returned it after 3 days of use, it wasn't worth keeping.

Comments about La Roche-Posay Effaclar Dermatological Acne Treatment:

This product does work very well, you just have to get through the first few uses where it gets worse before it gets better. It is pretty drying (like most acne systems) but definitely gets the job done. You just have to let your skin get used to it

Hey Sophie! Our Effaclar System is suitable for sensitive skin. Please note, however, that these products are meant to help fight acne being as the Duo contains Benzoyl Peroxide and therefore are stronger than products that just add hydration. We do suggest that you use a moisturizer and that you take care to see how your skin reacts to the products.
