Most Helpful Positive Review Pretty good, I like it. This is a pretty good brow gel. Not the most heavy duty, which is a pro for me because I don't need to feel like my brows are stiff and super glued to my face. Overall, I like it. It doesn't really have a wow factor by any means, which is why I'm only giving it 4 stars. But, it keeps my brow hairs in place, which is really all I need a brow gel to do. Also does well with my oily skin. Very simple product.
Most Helpful Critical Review Keeps brows full but, another meh. It doesn't come off easily but, not necessarily in a bad way. I think just being on the hair, not the skin, makes my brows look good. I hope it doesn't dry the brows with more frequent use. I'm not a fan of the applicator. There is going to be a mess because my brow hairs are long, even when trimmed as I am more sparse than full, with holes to fill in. I do have to clean up around the edges. 105 Pale Light, is another color that leaves be questioning what "light" means to makeup manufacturers. My eyebrows are darker than my hair, maybe it's just the thickness but, I feel like it makes them seem even darker. Either way, it's a better outcome than the Shape and Define, which is like an opaque paste that changed my brow color completely...though I approve of the applicator shape. The next closest I find has been "taupe." The pomade does OK but, is still much darker and, in some brands, comes out orange. I'm naturally a dark blonde and, it was once difficult to find something light enough. Now it's difficult to find the point in between.

I managed to get for under $7 when I bought it, and that's really the only reason I chose it, cause it was so cheap at the time. I didn't have high hopes. I really like the brushed up fluffy brow look and this gel is perfect for it. It adds a good tint of color and holds my brows up better than any brow gel I've ever tried, including gimme brow and boy brow. When I went to wash my face in the evening, my brows were in the exact same position they were in when I first applied. I do recommend brushing the excess off the wand before application as it can clump on if you have excess product on the brush. Also, it is a very strong hold product, so it's quite heavy duty. It is kind of like "glue" or almost like hair gel for your brows which might not be for everyone, but for me I love it because of the great hold.
For beautiful brows 5

Last year I used the medium shade. It was very dark brown, almost black but the color worked well for me. This year I bought the light shade. My hair color is very light and my brows are grayer! Light works for me now. Both were the small straight brush. Application is easy, brows look nice ( not fake) and brows stay in place. Use a good makeup remover at the end of the day and your face is clean.
Great Product 5

I had heard good things about this product and decided to give it a try. My eyebrows are fairly sparse and light but I desperately needed help. I love this product. Previous products just had too much build up, this is perfect and looks very natural. The price you cannot beat!
Works well with other products 4

I don't love this as a standalone product on my eyebrows, but I do like it in combination with either my elf or covergirl eyebrow pencil. It does a nice job fluffing the brows after you've colored them in, keeping the hairs in place longer than just a powder or pencil job would. It's a bit clumpy, so you have to wipe the brush off a bit to use it, but it's fine for the price.
Don't like the changes 2

Don't like the new smaller container and tiny brush. Half the amount of product, same price, hate the tiny brush. I will be shopping for a different brand.
Perfect for Fluffy Brows 5
Taylor from California
This product is perfect for the natural fluffy brow look. My brows are more on the full side so this adds just enough color to fill in my sparse areas while giving me that really fluffy boy brow look. It has quickly become my holy grail brow product.
If you have full eye brows this might work for you. 1

Basically 'paints' on. If an eyebrow hair does get into the twirl section of the brush, it pretty much globs onto it.
Solid purchase 4

I'm not sure there's anything out of this world unique about this brow gel, but I didn't really need that. I need a brow gel to add pigment and gentle hold to my brows and this product does that. A good cruelty free drugstore option.
Gets the job done 3

It's not that bad. It has a more gloopy texture, but it really isn't that bad. It kinda makes my eyebrow hairs really solid if I put too much. Other than that it's good.
Not last year's product 1
marycontrary from Vancouver, WA
Has anyone noticed that this new product is .16g and last year's is approx .32g? Half the amount for the same price. In my opinion, what a rip off!
great dupe for gimme brow 4
MissCurlyMo from San Antonio TX
I bought this because I ran out of my Benefits Gimme Brow and was looking for a cheaper option. The applicator spool is just the right size which is why I decided to buy, and lemme tell you it is the perfect size .I love that I can use it to seal in my brows when I want a full glam look. I can also use it alone for my every day looks when I just want to look put together. I live in south Texas and its humid 24/7 365 and this stuff does not budge. I think that it's because the formula of this is very mascara like. Worth the buy.
terrible 1
BethG from Virginia Beach, Va
I bought this thinking it was a gel as the package says. It is more like dried out mascara. I just wanted some color on my light brows. I got dried out clumps scattered through out my brows.
Too gloopy, too dark 1
April13 from NY
I use a brow gel by another company (think girl brow) which has a waxier consistency. Thought I'd try use as I don't have to go online to order it. This is too dark (105-light pale) and gloopy. I have to touch up with a q-tip after applying as the brush gets product on my brow bone. Maybe the applicator is too thick/wide? I think a narrower brush would allow for a more controlled application. Also a lighter shade. This looks too harsh with my dark honey blonde hair color. I bought two. Actually throwing away the second one, unopened. Sorry, can't recommend as is.
Maybe the worst! 1
Lysie36 from Huntington NY
Cover Girl used to have the absolute best eyebrow brush on the market. It was a curved brush and I am dark with very pale, thin brows. This new product sucks on every level...why CC decided to change the one they had for so long baffles me. There is not another one like it on the market that I can find and I have a collection. Come on CC...get on it and bring back that curved brush! PLEASE!!!
Good product. 4

Like the way it applies and color works for me.
Careful with a heavy hand 3
Amanda from Farmington, MI
This product is ok. I don't dislike it, but I'm not amazed by it either. I have fine hair so in order for my brows to pick up any product I need to really get in there with the wand, which then leads to gobs of product on my brow. After some brushing with a clean spooly brush and clean up with a q-tip, I do very much like the look this product gives my eyebrows! I do wish there was a shade just a tad lighter than the lightest shade, but it is what it is.
Very pigmented. Like hair gel for your brows. 4
Claire from Savannah, Ga
The product is a bit too pigmented for my personal preference, but it will hold your brow hairs in place all day. I like the size of the brush.
better than boy brow 5
emcorrinne from arkansas
long time user of Glossier boy brow and I've switched over to this now. it's my second tube. much better hold, not crusty, great color, makes my brows look laminated almost. wipe off the excess on the ends.
amazing 5

everything i love gets discontinued so i don't want to jinx it but this is the best brow gel i've used
Good hold, don't over apply 4
ShelStar from Oklahoma
I like this brow gel quite a lot, but it took me a minute to figure it out... if you over apply it, it can get very thick and crusty looking and leave a tacky film that just makes brows look gunked up. I use one thin coat for coverage/color over a brow pencil in the sparse areas. Holds well for most days. If I need more hold in my brows (some days they're unruly monsters!) I use a clear gel over top.
holds ALL DAYYY 5

this brow gel holds my brows in place even through basketball practice and games !! my new favorite !! 💕
Just No 2
BB from MO
Essence brow gel is $2.99 and does a better job. This stiffens and leaves your brows hard and looking weird. I would skip this and get a different brand.
No hold 3
Adrienne from Lincoln, CA
Looking for a dupe to Anastasia's brow gel, this was not it. Has ZERO hold. Wish I could return
Changed colors 1
Elliebear from Washington
I bought this a couple months ago in the color honey Brown, which was perfect for me because it had the right undertones for my Ginger hair, but now that I'm out and want to repurchase they discontinued that shade. Really sucks.
Good budget buy 5
Em from New York
I like it, it covers well for easy brow days that are long lasting. I got it in medium brown and its pretty dark so if you have darker brown hair, it'll match well. I'd recommend getting the darkest shade if you have black hair.
