DuraLash Starter Kit

Create lush, natural-looking lashes with Ardell’s Natural Individuals. These lashes are permanently curled, waterproof, comfortable to wear and easy to apply. They are so comfortable you can wear them up to six weeks at a time. Apply to the ends of your natural lashes for a sexy, cat-eye effect, to the center for a soft, doe-eyed look, or simply add a few to fill in sparse areas of your lash line. Everything you need in one kit; small, medium and long lashes, tweezers, adhesive and remover.

Before applying duralashes, thoroughly clean your natural eyelashes and eyelids so they are makeup and oil free. Pour 2-3 drops of LashTite adhesive onto a small piece of foil. Keep bottle tightly capped to prevent spilling and to keep the adhesive from drying out. Remove a DuraLash from the tray by gently grasping it with tweezers near the knotted end. Dip knotted end of DuraLash into LashTite Adhesive. Do not fully coat the lash with adhesive. More adhesive does not mean better adhesion. Starting at the outer corner of your eye, place a DuraLash on top of your natural lash with knotted end as close to your eyelid as possible without touching it. Gradually apply DuraLashes, working toward the inner corner of your eye.
Lashtite Ingredients: Methoxyisopropyl Acetate, Nitrocellulose, Alcohol Denat.
Lashfree Remover Ingredients: Methylpropanediol, Melia Azadirachta Leaf Extract, Water/Aqua/Eau

Comments about Ardell DuraLash Starter Kit:

Some tips if you want to try them out:
•don't use a lot of glue; they will stay on without too much
•I wouldn't recommend wearing any eye makeup with these lashes
•wait at least a week before trying to
remove
•DO NOT USE THE INCLUDED REMOVER.
•instead, steam for ten minutes, then coat lashes in Vaseline
•don't reapply right after removal

These lashes are very convenient; I put them on on a Sunday and was going to wear them all week (the glue is semi permanent), eliminating the need for eye makeup. However, I underestimated the strength of the glue and used too much. Unlike regular false eyelash glue, the glue that comes with the lashes is very strong, very stiff, and obviously full of chemicals. It got to the point where it hurt to squint because the glue wouldn't allow my eyelids to stretch as they needed to. On the third day of use, I attempted to remove them due to discomfort. I tried the remover that comes with the lashes (using a q-tip to apply). THE REMOVER DOES NOT WORK. If I had tried any longer than I did, my eyelids would have had chemical burns. I next tried olive oil (first with a q-tip, then a cotton swab). This seemed gentler but still wasn't doing much. Finally, I ended up steaming my face for about 10 minutes to soften the glue a bit, and I coated my lashes with Vaseline. The Vaseline seemed to work the best. It's thick enough that it won't run into your eyes, and it's easier to massage around. I applied, waited, massaged, and repeated. This worked in about 45 minutes. In the future, I would definitely wait at least a week before trying to remove them.
I'm going to give my eyes about a week to recover from all the chemicals, but now that I know how to take care of them, I'm going to try re-applying them.

They were easy to apply but they would not come off at all. As I removed them they pulled out eye lashes and the hurt so bad I was up for 4 hours crying and couldn't get them off and i tried everything. It took me a couple days and i had to pick & peel them off. Not good at all.

      Unflattering

Comments about Ardell DuraLash Starter Kit:

I purchased this kit to find a durable adhesive. It's day 1 and it seems ok. These lashes stick straight out and don't flare upwards what so ever. Depending on how my take off process goes I may purchase the glue but use a different brand of lashes

I would recommend anyone using this item to get the black adhesive, i will try that the next time.
As far as removal i still am wearing mine and its been a week and a half, the ones that i accidently pull out i have just glued them back in, hope the removing part isnt such a hassle! But nice and cheap and after the first time you can learn to do them better !

Comments about Ardell DuraLash Starter Kit:

I think the reviews on this product have been a bit unfair. Everyone has been saying "it's too hard to apply" and "it's too hard to remove." First of all, this is a cheaper way to get lash extensions. When you go in to get them done by someone, they cost $150 for a reason. It's an art. So yes, it will take a while to apply and you have to get the swing of it. It took me four or five times to get my first lash on, but the. I got the hang of it. Second of all, you're using permanent glue so of course it's going to be hard to remove. But it's not impossible.

Overall, I love the product. It's a great alternative to putting down a big chunk of money at a salon. I will continue to buy this! My eyelashes look amazing and I save so much time not having to put on mascara in the morning.

Comments about Ardell DuraLash Starter Kit:

This is a perfect product if you're interested in beginning to use extensions, you hate mascara like me, or what to wake up looking flawless... tips and tricks: watch some YouTube videos before hand as there are a ton on this particular product and apply according to directions, don't touch sling, etc. there is some maintenance to go into it: brush them out everyday and be prepared Tom wake up and have some replacement lashed on hand. I go at this one and had some left overs I saved to used as fillers. I picked up a medium tray from permalash as well. I have very fair skin and blonde lashes: my step up was using dark brown lashes from derma lash. I highly recommend p, if your blonde, doing this as it's stillness dramatic but so much more natural looking g to use brown. Last tip: buy baby oil and use this to remove the lashes instead. It's much more efficient and eliminates any damage to your natural lashes.

The lashes were very hard to apply, once on they looked great. Lashes were cleaned everyday, when it came time to remove (2-3 days) after applied they would not come off!! The remover burned my eye lids to the point of bleeding. Baby oil, coconut oil, and Argan oil were all also used to get to remove. Nothing worked, eventually they were tweezed out, losing a lot of my real lashes. ☹️

Once you figure out how to get them on correctly-- don't be discouraged, it takes a while -- these look great. Very natural looking, not over the top but not too subtle. And the glue really does make them stay for about a week! I like these much better than strip lashes and love that I can wear them all weekend without having to worry about them falling off when I'm out.
