I used this for my Tarte Shape Tape concealer, and I wasn't a fan of it. It wasn't very easy to blend with, and was extremely streaky

Comments about Real Techniques Dual-Ended Expert Sponge:

This sponge gets the job done but there are better options out there. When wet, this sponge does not expand or become soft like most do. This stays the same size and is stiff and rough on the face. It will ultimately get the job done but I didnt find it the most pleasant experience.

Horrible coverage. You are supposed to use this dry which only smears the foundation.

Comments about Real Techniques Dual-Ended Expert Sponge:

I hate this sponge. It's way too firm and doesn't give a pretty application at all. It's hard to clean and just no good. I do not like it at all. Spend $1 more and get the Morphe beauty highlight and contour sponge - which is 100 steps above this sponge.

I've used Real Techniques products before and liked them, but I'm disappointed in this sponge. It's firmer than the non-double sided version.

I do not recommend this product. It does not soak up water to become more spongy. I'd rather spend my money on the L'Oréal sponge applicator (pink).

                        A:

                        Hi Noorelhileh,

That's a great question - this sponge is a different type of material from our regular Miracle Complexion Sponge. This is meant to be used dry only. We will be posting a tutorial video on Ulta's product page within the next week that really shows how to use the sponge.

Because you're using it dry, you will get fuller coverage than using it wet,

                        Hope that helps!

                        A:

                        Hi Cristina,

Thanks for your question on this brand new sponge!! The wonderful thing about our brushes and sponges is that, for the most part, there aren't any hard & fast "rules" about how to use them - it's all about however they work for you to get the look that you want. :)

So, if you like how the pink side works for applying foundation, absolutely go for it!

                        Thanks!
