Most Helpful Positive Review Amazing!
My family and I have been using this stuff forever. We have never been without it. And while it is a mask, I wouldn't recommend using it that way. As it will probably be too drying. Anyway, my family and I use this as an acne spot treatment. We just dab some on at night, and within 2 days they are usually gone. It works for regular acne, and boils. My sister was getting hormonal boils and couldn't get them to go away. After using this stuff, her boils are gone in no time. It's Amazing. It clears your blemishes without over drying the surrounding skin. Will continue to repurchase.
Most Helpful Critical Review It smells so bad!
I wanted to like this mask so much that i tried it for 2 weeks.... However the smell is so pungent and strong that even after you wash your face the harsh odor is stuck in your nostrils and on your skin.
I have combo/ oily skin with cystic acne and thought I would give it a try because I'm a huge fan of the moisturizer. Despite the odor It literally dried my face out to the point of flaking and I only used it 2 times a week (which is less than the suggested amount)
I don't recommend this product at all.
I literally can't get the smell out of my nose lol

WHY ARE THEY STILL SELLING FACIAL PRODUCTS WITH POISON?
THERE ARE SO MANY ALTERNATIVES
AND FOR A VERY HIGH PRICE.
Smells horrendous, but it works!
Hien_nessy from MS
The smell is definitely off-putting, but it does it's job to help treat and soothe acne. It pulls on the skin as it's drying, but I would say I am satisfied with the results! I don't use it as a full face mask, only on my trouble patches.
Use sparingly on dry skin

First thing: yes, this product smells bad. It's one of the worst smelling masks I've ever used. Get over it because it WORKS. I've been having mask related acne for the last few months and sulfur has always worked well for my skin. I put this on and leave it for less than 10 minutes because I have extremely sensitive dry skin. I pretty much only use it as needed - a couple times a month. I always follow with a hydrating mask and a heavy lotion!

This stuff smells EXTREMELY BAD but it's the only thing that has stopped my cystic acne on my jawline. It's very drying so I only dab it on the bumps or lightly smear it on problem areas. Would not recommend using this as an actual mask, just spot treat instead. My skin has significantly improved. Even with no bumps I use it twice a week to keep them away. I'd say this is worth the money and will last a long time because a little goes a long way!
This product is so bad I put it on 🍅

Wear this overnight!

I used this mask a couple of times as directed (25 minutes), but really didn't notice anything. One night I fell asleep with the mask on, and in the morning I noticed that my acne was nearly gone! So now, I wear the mask for several hours for best results.
Sucks out the acne

Smells awful but its worth it! I put it on my problem Areas with acne on chin and black heads on nose. After it dried, the acne spots were visible under the mask because the gunk was sucked out! Plus my nose and fore head look pristine. Im hoping to make this apart of a weekly routine

If you can get through rubbing new tires all over your face, you can get through anything! YES GIRL. Especially oily skin. If you're sensitive to smells this mask isn't for you but all the one stars on this product are about the smell. The ACTUAL product, a face mask, is amazing. It does what it says it's going to do. Dry out the skin. It smoothed my skin more than a lot of other drying masks I've tried, I feel like I'm rubbing my hand over a perfect peach. My boyfriend and I both used this and are thrilled with the results.
Great for breakouts
Kari from Las Vegas
I am not a fan of the brand but I love this product! It really wasn't as drying as I anticipated. I have normal skin, but live in the desert so my skin can get quite dry. The smell is off putting but not unbearable. Sulfur is known for its weird smell, and it's not as bad as it could be.
I used an Aveeno face wash that broke me out terribly! Like worse than when I first hit puberty. And nothing was helping with the breakouts that the face wash caused, except for this. Sulfur is amazing for the skin, especially on breakouts, and I have been looking for a sulfur product to incorporate into my skincare routine and this was a product that had a price that I was willing to pay. Most sulfur products are very expensive. Very pleasantly surprised by this mask.
Would not recommend!!!

Not worth the price

I have really oily skin as well as sensitive bumps. But this mask did more drying out my skin then leaving it feel replenished. Also I have brown skin and it left this waxy/ashy layer on my skin that I literally wash and scrub off with my cleanser and toner. Definitely will never buy this again
I almost threw up

it has THE WORST smell ever it's like burnt plastic/tires. I had to rinse it off asap or I was gonna puke, and it's been 2-3 hrs since I washed it off and I can still smell it even after I put some perfume on.

I have been using this product for over 20 years. I always make sure I never run out!
Bad Smell & Sometimes Affective
ck from Indiana
I usually use this 1-3 times a week. There isn't much product in the container so I could get about 5, give or take, uses out of it. The mask worked great at the beginning, but after a couple of uses it did nothing. I stopped using it for a while to see if it would improve the effect, but it still did nothing.
Melted tire smell

Okay so obviously people are down playing the disgusting smell this mask has . I'm not sensitive to smells at all my good lord whatever is in this smells like it shouldn't be going on my face.
I actually feel like I'm sitting in a mechanics shops , it's awful .

please don't listen to the reviews that say this product has such an awful smell! i promise it's really not bad and you can barely smell it once you put it on. i have oily skin and used vitamin e oil after, no problems with drying at all. i've only used it once and i can already see a difference. and a little goes a long way. definitely worth the buy!!
michelle from boston, ma
I have very oily skin, so i use this just on my t-zone every couple of weeks because I dont want to overly dry my skin. I also use it as a spot treatment on pimples and it helps draw all the junk out of them!
Only thing that works

Every since I was 13 I was dealing with all different types of acne. 13 years later I am still batteling it, however in my 20s I started getting cystic acne all over my face and back. It is both hormonal and hereditary. I went to a dermatologist after trying EVERYTHING on the market with salicylic acid (from 0.5 percent to 2 percent) and benzoyl peroxide. I've tried washes, creams, spot treatments, medicated lotions, you name it. The dermatologist gave me a prescription for a sulfur based lotion. The smell was terrible. I would put it on my back, put on an old shirt, put a towel over my pillow and sleep, then wash it off in the morning. After the prescription was done and I didn't want to pay my copay, I saw this and figured I'd give it a shot. This mask is better than my Rx, cheaper, and while the smell is still pretty bad I can get past it.
Since the smell may be the main thing that is keeping you from away from getting this I do have suggestions. Apply it with a silicone mask brush like the one from I Dew Care. Apply on a day where you don't have to go anywhere. Think of a lazy Sunday. Apply it earlier in the day. Apply a medium sized layer to affected area, let it dry. When taking it off, let it chip off your face if applying a thick layer. Gently scrape it off. It can be a little difficult to wash off because of the clay. Use a wet paper towel to take off the excess. Use a cotton pad soaked in miscellar water and go over face once. Let skin breathe for an hour before applying makeup or lotions. Your skin is finally decongested. I do not suggest anyone put this on their upper lip, because of the smell. You may smell it faintly for the rest of the day but it's not killer. I've asked my family members if they smell it on my and they always say no. Try it if you have cystic acne. Do not use more than one to two times a week.
don't get this if you have regular to oily skin!!!
maggie from columbus, GA
i have regular to oily skin and when i used this mask and it definitely drys my skin out too much. when i washed it off it left a weird, almost waxy layer on my skin. the smell is awful, its almost like a car that has been smoked in for years. i would not recommend to anyone, but all skin is different.
I will never buy this product

WODKS LIKE MAGIC
Danii from Lincoln, NE
This product is amazing, I use the drying lotion so I thought I'd give the drying mask a try and it was amazing. it cleared my acne in one week after two uses. The smell is too strong so if you cant handle a strong smell this isn't for you but if you can get over the smell then you should give this product a try.
Kiwi from Shelby twp
I will definitely always use this product. It lasts for a long time and a little goes a long way. I'm able to use as a spot treatment and all over my face and it feels cleaner and the smell doesn't bother me. I just put a candle on and relax. I'm so thankful I pushed through the smell because it's so worth it!!!!
I've repurchased many, many times!

This has been the only product that has worked on my cystic acne! I use as a spot treatment along with the Buffering Lotion. I don't always have break outs, but this has been my go to remedy for the last 4 years!
