Most Helpful Positive Review Love it!
I've had some bumps on my chin for ages, not exactly acne, but definitely something. Maybe whiteheads? Either way, I've tried a lot of products and couldn't get rid of them. I tried this drying cream and it's AMAZING. I've been using it for a week and there is a huge difference. I took off one star because it doesn't seem to make any difference with actual acne. I still love it though because of how much it has helped with the bumps on my chin! I've had no issues with it being too drying, though I don't have sensitive skin.
Most Helpful Critical Review New Formula
I've been using this product for over a year. I used to love it. It worked really well and didn't contain a long list of ingredients or parabens. I bought a new one recently and it started to make me break out. I compared the ingredients with my old one (old ingredients are what ulta lists) and I was disappointed to find tbey changed the formula by adding a lot of new ingredients and parabens. Sadly I will be returning as it doesn't work like it used to.

I was using Kate Somerville eradikate for a while and it did not work at all. I tired this and wow it dries your acne out fast! I definitely recommend. The smell isn't bad in my opinion it doesn't have fragrance in it so it takes on the smell of the ingredients. FRAGRANCE IS BAD FOR YOUR SKIN!! To me it was an earthy smell. The texture is almost like a moose which I like. I dap mine on to my skin until it's absorbed. A little goes a long way with this product. Overall I like this product and I do recommend it

This cream works perfectly to dry out pimples.
This works well

Having a need to dry up areas that became prevalent from wearing a mask all day-this product works well. It is a great cover and also drys as needed.
Annoying to Use
Glendeetz from Irvine, CA
Helped with small bumps. I've read somewhere that you can use this under makeup, but I would not. The cream is very thick, and is not something that disappears under makeup. Got to try this from the Acne Repair Kit, and this was my least favorite out of the 3 in the pack.
Pass on this one

I was hoping this would work for my acne. I used it for a few weeks and never really noticed a difference.

I love this product! When I feel a pimple coming on I make sure I apply this cream over the area before bed for at least two nights and then I never see the pimple form! I also put it on my nose sometimes before bed because my nose is pretty oily. It doesn't dry out my skin or irritate it. I haven't had a pimple since I found out how to actually use this.
I like it....

I don't rub it in, I use as a spot treatment when I'm gonna be home for a while. Does great in reducing redness and size.

Love this product and I make sure I never run out!

I have had small bumpy under the skin acne on my chin and forehead for years now and nothing ive ever use has gotten rid of them, until i tried this and my skin is completely smooth!!! Worked like magic!! This is my new go to acne treatment! It is a little drying but still works great in combo with moisturizer
Great For Spot Treatments

Does this product have a smell? Yes. Is it bearable considering it works like a charm? Yes. The smell honestly isn't that bad and the product works so I wouldn't stop using it because of the smell. A little goes a long way and the jar will probably end up drying up before you get through it (packaging says 6m but it will dry up at about 12m) You will definitely get your moneys worth out the the jar. Works great on stopping the blemishes that are still under the skin.
Works decently, Smells horrible
AJ from South Carolina
After using for the first time last night, I can definitely see a decrease in the redness and swelling in my acne. The big downside is this stuff smells HORRIBLE! Like, I can't get away from my own face horrible. I was definitely getting no love from my better half after I applied it.
Not sure how I feel about it

Okay so I love Mario's products butttt..... this one isn't on my top 5 favorites. I have very oily skin and acne prone skin. It did what it was supposed to but the horrible smell makes me not wanna use it. And I put it on before I sleep and it's tolerable. :) I'd buy again.tho.
Stinks But Works Well

I notice a visible improvement from blackheads and oiliness after using this product every time. It won't last more than a day or two if you don't use it every day, though. I notice such strong results, that I've started using on my chest and back when I have issues there. Only downside is the horribly strong odor of it - very chemical-smelling.

I've had acne for over 10 years and nothing has worked to reduce my pimples. I tried going to the dermatologist and getting curology but nothing has worked better than this cream.
The Good Stuff!
Jo from Ann Arbor
This product will dry out your skin if you don't complete your regimen after using it. I have a very oily T-zone with large pores and this mask corrected the large pores overnight. It dissolves dead skin cells, bacteria, and excess sebum that sits in your pores. I use it twice per week and apply it with a foundation brush to keep it fun :)
It burnt me?

I used as directed. Woke up with red, raised skin.
Not sure if I'm allergic but from what I know of I'm not?

This stuff works!

This has been a major game changer for my acne routine. I am 25 and have suffered from cystic/hormonal acne since my early teens. I use this as a spot treatment to minimize those angry pimples I feel coming in. I also use it as a pre-treatment in my problem areas when I'm getting towards the end of my cycle, along with the Burt's Bees Herbal Complexion Stick. I have combo skin and found that this is not super drying on my skin like similar products. If you have dry skin, this probably isn't for you. The smell is not the greatest either.
I would buy it again

Love how fast it works
Smells like a basketball but it's worth the clearer skin!
MC from California
I use this after using the Special Cleansing Lotion C and it has helped clear my cystic acne flare on my cheeks that lasted a whole year this time. I use it in my morning and evening routine, and you have to be sure that you don't apply moisturizer in the area you use this cream in order to properly dry the acne areas. Even though it's called a "drying cream", it doesn't cause that uncomfortable dried skin feeling— it actually feels moisturized! Sure, it smells like a basketball, but who really cares now that you've got clearer skin? I'd rather smell like a basketball than have my face have the texture of one! A plus is that it simultaneously evens the tone of reddened skin, so when you put makeup over it, you don't need to cake product on as much to conceal redness from the acne. Yes, I definitely recommend this along with the Special Cleansing Lotion C. You disinfect with that stuff then let the area stay dry (yet moisturized!) with this stuff.
