Most Helpful Positive Review Best dry shampoo I've ever tried!
I never do reviews but I got so excited to see Ulta started carrying this brand in an email this AM so I decided to share. I am totally addicted to dry shampoo and for a while I would get a different brand each time I ran out because I always felt like there had to be something better out there. This is it. A while back I got fed up and finally wanted to find that amazing product so I ended up doing research, looking up reviews, then ordering a ton of travel sizes of dry shampoos in all price ranges to find the perfect one. The Klorane was by far the best. It's certainly not the most budget friendly, but a full sized bottle probably lasts me close to 10 times longer than some cheap brands so I don't mind.
I have straight, somewhat fine hair, but a lot of it, so I have to use quite a bit of dry shampoo to be able to work it through all of my hair enough to get the job done. I also live in a humid climate and have a bad habit of messing with my hair 24/7 so you can see why I love dry shampoo. First of all, a little bit goes a long way with this product because it works so well. It lasts long too so I don't need to reapply, which means a bottle lasts SO much longer than most dry shampoos. It adds the perfect amount of volume. A lot of dry shampoos will leave my hair looking and smelling clean for the most part, but feeling gross. This one leaves my hair looking, smelling, and feeling great all day. With some other brands I've also noticed they do the job at the time, but I wake up the next morning with it worn off except for a residue that makes it worse than if I hadn't used any at all, even if I had only applied the evening before. Not this stuff. It smells great too. Simple and clean, nothing too strong or perfumy. The best part about it is that it doesn't leave that awful white residue that can be so hard to get rid of, even if I forget to rub it in. Honestly the only way I could imagine this product improving is if they started giving it away for free.
Most Helpful Critical Review Okay, but not worth the $$
I read the reviews, and was hoping it would live up to its praises. It's okay, but not worth the cost. It absorbs the oil, sure, but it left my hair dry and lifeless. It doesn't smell bad, but neither does it smell good. It just reminds me of a strong cheap hairspray, think Aqua Net from the 80's.

I just love it. It is the best I have found. I have tried about 6 other products but this has been the best.

Because of my job I cannot have anything strongly scented for my hair/perfume. This one is absolutely perfect, but also does the hard hitting work of making hair feel clean and soft while not too strong of a scent. Also having fine hair I find this gives a really great texture as well for volume!

So I really did like this dry shampoo but I didn't like that it seemed to leave behind a brown residue
Orange dry shampoo

It is good the only thing is the color you really need to brush really well to get it to dissapear so it takes you at least 5-8 min more to get ready
Day 5 hair!

I have thin, dark, pretty oily hair and this dry shampoo makes it so so can go up to 5/6 days without washing ! it makes my hair feel clean and adds volume . pricey but worth it. definitely get the dark one if you have dark hair
It really IS orange
BusybusybusyCA from Los Angeles
Okay the other reviewers were absolutely correct, this is straight up orange, bright orange. I can't picture who can use this in the brunette range. However I was able to make it work with the AG brunette (which is a tad too dark for my hair). The formula itself is nice, light and the aerosol dispensed a fine mist. Got it on sale to try it out. I'll make this can work but I won't buy again.
I like the smell and brown tint it has in it.

Actually makes your hair feel clean again!
Completely different than any other dry shampoo

Yes, it's expensive. It's the most expensive hair product I use. But, it's worth it! I have fine highlighted hair that falls flat really easily. This gives me a clean feeling without any stickiness, grit, static or residue. I always stock up when it's on sale or during a points promotion.

I'm an avid dry shampoo user. A friend and I were talking about dry shampoo and she reccomend this one. I'm so glad she did because it is amazing. So far it's the only dry shampoo that hasn't made my head itch, at all! I have a lot of hair but it is fine and this make my 2nd day style still look amazing. It also comes slightly tinted for light or dark hair and that minimizes the tell tale white residue roots. It lasts all day and my roots stayed dry with no oily show through.
Still keep buying this product

Makes my hair feel really clean! Actually love more than the Living Proof dry shampoo. Feels like there is less product in my hair.

I've been using Klorane Dry Shampoos for the past couple of years. I wanted something effective with little to no fragrance (I am sensitive to fragrance and most other brands are heavily scented). I recently switched to the formula for Dark Hair and love it! Just as effective as the original, but now I'm less paranoid about the powder showing in my dark brown hair. I have bangs that get oily easily and this is the perfect dry shampoo to combat second-day grease.
Holy grail dry shampoo

This is the only dry shampoo that doesn't leave a white residue or make my hair sticky. Absolutely love this product.

I LOVE this dry shampoo! I keep trying different brands and scents, but always come back to Klorane. I buy the one for dark hair which has a light tint to it so it blends easier within my dark brown hair and makes my second day dirty hair feel and look fresh with just a few sprays of this dry shampoo. Definitely a must-have product!

I've tried a bunch of different dry shampoos and this is by far my favorite. It blends well with my brown highlighted hair. Gets rid of the greasy look without making my hair feel gross.
My favorite dry shampoo

I have very dark brown hair, almost black. I spray this down my part, let it sit for a few minutes, then rub it in/off or use a very fine bristle brush to brush the excess off. It is a light tan color but it's better than white and doesn't leave dark brown powder all over the bathroom like dark powders do. The scent is very clean and fresh. I like it a lot. Wish it was a bigger can though.

I will say that this formula is effective, and it left my hair looking and feeling refreshed like I want my hair to be after using dry shampoo. If the regular formula was on sale I might even purchase it.
However, whomever decided it was okay to advertise this stuff as being good for dark brown hair should be fired immediately. My hair is a very dark brown, and this stuff is somewhere in the tan to light brown range at best. When I used it as directed, it looked like I had gotten some sort of weirdly botched dye job using the light brown crayon from the box you had in the third grade. This is NOT a universal brown. Maybe it works for brunettes on the lighter end of the spectrum, but not this chocolate haired gal.
Best dry shampoo!

Best dry shampoo I have ever used. It doesn't weigh your hair down, my hair doesn't feel "cakey". I love this product.
Not Messy, Definite Favorite
dangergirl from Detroit, Michigan
I have tried a lot of dry shampoos. I have thin, fine hair and an oily scalp. I'm a messy person. I usually don't use tinted dry shampoos on my dark brown hair because I get the spray all over. I don't have that problem with this. It is very effective at soaking up the excess oils in my scalp and hair without leaving an itchy buildup in my scalp. If this was either less expensive or had more product in the can, I would give it 5 stars.
Steph from Texas
Best dry shampoo. No white residue. I love the smell.
Best so far..
Natural from Santa Maria
Best dry hair spray that I've tried (high end-drug stores), especially for dark hair. Others are either overpowering (scent or residue), irritate my scalp, or do not absord oil.
I'd use this product more if it was less expensive.
My favorite dry shampoo
kjeanm84 from Arkansas
I love this dry shampoo and it works well. My only beef is that it costs so much for so little. I used to use Glo essential dry shampoo for dark hair and it was wonderful and for a little more I got twice as much product. With this I feel like I have to buy a new can every few weeks..and it gets costly.
The best - and I've tried them all
Debster_16 from Boston, MA
This is my absolute favorite dry shampoo, and I've tried them all, from drug store to high end. You don't need to use much, and it gently absorbs oil, refreshing my style so that I can typically go 2-3 days and not need to wash or style. It never makes my scalp itch (which some do), never leaves heavy residue (again, some of the cheaper ones I've tried do), and just works. I usually wait for a sale and stock up. Worth every penny!
