First time trying this brand. Store rep suggested it for the coverage I was seeking. I have some rosacea on my cheeks and wanted a more natural full coverage powder. This works great over my foundation and looks natural! Lasts all day!

I was having a problem finding a light to medium coverage powder foundation that did not have a caked on feeling. I talked to the Ulta rep and she recommended this one. I love it. You can build up the coverage level and it stays on all day.

Ok, I have no idea why this isn't talked about more. This foundation is AMAZING!!! it was SO easy to apply, it took like 2 minuets to cover my acne and acne scars. I applied it dry with my real techniques brush and my skin looks just perfect. I also like to add some of the Balance and Brighten foundation with this one for an extra perfect look. My skin looks the best it has ever looked. This is perfect.

I bought this on a whim while looking for a setting powder and decided to try this out instead. best decision ever!!!

Comments about Laura Geller Double Take Baked Versatile Powder Foundation:

OMG this stuff is good. I hate liquid foundations because I have a super fuzzy face and yet pretty a pretty even skin tone- so I don't NEED anything super thick. But I wear foundation to balance out under eye color and minimal blemishes ad just love the glam look. Its super hard to find a powder foundation that smooths on like a cream without being too heavy or wet. This stuff is amazing!!!! It is a dry powder that seriously goes on and blends like a wet foundation, also it doesn't look toooo dry like normal powders tend to, but I do STILL see the need to add an illuminating spray on top to add a more dewy look. Overall I'm in love with the quality.

Also, I accidentally picked up the TOTAL wrong shade even after swatching the correct one, and started slathering this on at home to test it out, realized it was SO dark and it would NOT come off with water- which was AMAZING!!! (I was so impressed with how waterproof it was even though it was too dark) Exchanging for my true color!!!

It works ok dry but wet it easily goes splotchy. Once you have used it wet a few times within a month it hardens to a point it doesn't function any longer.

I use this everyday. I bought this because of a ULTA employee recommendation. I was looking for Lorac Porefessional in the tone deep but it appears it's no longer available. I'm glad it was recommended. I like that it ? can be applied wet/dry. Although I've only use it wet because I'm addicted to how flawless my skin looks.

Laura Geller is the pioneer of primers- her Spackle works wonders and is also loaded with incredible skincare benefits. We currently have 9 different primers to choose from- each one targets a different skincare concern. We have a primer for dry skin, one for oily skin, one with anti-aging benefits, a couple that have shimmer, one that corrects redness, and one that lightens dark spots. I would focus on what your biggest skincare concern is and then choose the Spackle that targets your concern. We also have original Spackle which is clear and is for all skin types. Enjoy!

I recommend trying our Double Take Baked Versatile Powder Foundation if you want a fuller coverage, or our Balance-n-Brighten Baked Color Correcting Foundation if you like more of a medium-buildable coverage. Both products are absolutely beautiful and easy to use, it just depends on what you want out of your foundation. I will also include a link that will help you choose the right shade for you. Enjoy!

Hello, I have tried the double take foundation and I use balance and brighten in medium. The light in B& B is too yellow for me. The double take bake in medium seems to have a orangey cast on me. What are the undertones in the medium balance and brighten and the double take baked? Not sure which would work? I have sort of a nuetral to cool coloring, but not a pink undertone. I tend to turn red then tan. Thx, Tanya

                        A:

Based on the information given to me, it does sounds like the medium Balance-n-Brighten should be perfect for you. It definitely has more cool (pink) to neutral undertones. And because this item is made up of multi-pigmented swirls of color, it is forgiving. So even if it's a tad too dark you'll never have a line under your jaw. Just make sure to blend down! I Need doible Take, which has more coverage, try using the light. This does not have as much yellow or orange as the light Balance.
