Backround: I've been growing my hair out for almost 7 years. It's probably a couple inches above my hip bone. I love the wet brush and used it exclusively the past 3 years. No other brush goes near my head, ever! I had owned a wide tooth comb and never understood how anyone could detangle their hair with one. My hair is thin, snarels easily and can look like a cotton ball tumble weed if I get build up and don't wash and condition it everday/every other day. My wide toothed comb only made it worse, pulled knots and snapped my hair. It was so bad I threw it away. Fast forward to now, I decided to once again try a wide toothed comb, mainly for even distribution of my leave in conditioner (AG hair food) To my shock and amazement this comb is super gentle, flexible so it don't snap hair, glides through my hair like magic and does everything my wet brush can do except with the added benefit of less bristles which in turn is less manipulation of the hair in its most fragile state. I use this now every time my hair is wet and after it's dry, I got over it with my wet brush. 100% recommend this comb, very affordable and the only comb I trust near my hair!
I purchased a detangler comb by the same manufacturer in an Ulta store and really liked it. When I saw this online, I thought, "Hey, I'll get one for my suitcase" as I travel frequently. Unfortunately, this comb is very cheap and flimsy and the prongs are sharp. I returned it and purchased another detangler comb in the store. Don't waste your money on this one.

I love using this in the shower to comb out my knots (think heavy hair) and it gets it takes no time with a bunch of conditioner.

I'm in cosmetology school and picked up this comb to use on clients while in school. I must say, it's AMAZING! Especially for coily and curly hair. It detangles gently, without messing with the curl pattern too much. I love it.

I purchased this to help pull toning conditioner through my hair. It's thick and not flimsy to pull through.

I bought an oil comb from Ulta a few years ago and it was fabulous. I lost it and saw this one, although it is not the same brand or comb color (the one i had before was solid white), I assumed it would be the same. Guess what? It is not!!! No shine to my hair and it is so cheap and hurts my scalp while ripping hair. This is a dollar store comb, not a pro beauty. Do not buy.

This comb is flexible and doesn't pull out my very fine hair when I comb it straight out of the shower!!!

Works like I wanted it to work. I needed something for when I wanted to leave my hair curly

Should try. This is very different then other combs!

Don't waste your money, this comb tears hair. I have curly hair and really excited to try, however the teeth are so rough, I would have been better off using my fingers.

This is exactly what I needed to detangle my hair in the shower, and for the price you can't go wrong! If you're looking for a detangler brush that isn't harsh on your scalp or break your hair, buy this! It works great on wet and dry hair.

I use this every day to detangle in the morning and after every shower! Super cute color and very effective!

if you have type 4 hair dont get this. I have 4c/d hair. this comb is not strong enough to comb my natural super coily hair.

I purchased this comb in a whim for my daughters thick hair. worked AMAZING!!! I have fine hair but figured I'd try too, no oil in my hair after a slid right through to prevent damage. Going to buy more!

Usually combs break in my hair after a few weeks of use. I have coily curls and it's great for in the shower use. It was also super gentle on my 1 year old's wavy hair.

I use this comb in the shower after I let my conditioner sit for a couple minutes to smooth out my waves. The wide-set teeth on the comb detangles my hair without causing breakage. I switched from using a cylindrical brush to this comb about 4 months ago and I've noticed less hair falling out and smoother texture. My hair has also grown significantly since switching from a brush to a comb. Before making the switch, I had used a brush with harsh bristles my whole life. After this comb, I won't be going back to a brush.

I bought this to help with coming conditioner though my kids' hair. They all have thick, long, straight hair that tangles easily, and this is great for smoothing the conditioner through without snagging and causing pain. It has been a great help and it seems much sturdier than other combs we have had previously which have broken while getting out tangles.

I have hair that is down to my bum. Very long and partly processed so, dry. I can detangle my hair a lot easier with this comb that other ones without as much damage or breakage and pulling. I have one at home, work bag, travel bag. Really like this comb.
