Most Helpful Positive Review Really Works!
I haven't had to deal with breakouts since high school, but since having my two daughters, I was frustrated to find that at 30 years old I was experiencing major breakouts again. I found myself having to experiment with tons of products, trying to find something to control my breakouts. The problem is now that I'm older I want to use more natural/organic products and finding one that zaps zits is hard to find. I came across these Yes To Tomatoes Detoxifying Charcoal Zit Zapping Dots and decided to give it a go. The first night I tried them I put two on two new zits that I felt forming under the skin. They were easy to apply and stuck all night long. In the morning I removed them and was amazed to find that they caused the newly forming zits to shrink and come to a head so that I could easy pop them. By that night, the zits weren't red anymore, had shrunk, were completely flat and not filled, and basically gone. I've never found a product to do something like this!!! I'm a complete believer in these now and put one on a zit as soon as I feel one forming. It would usually take up to two weeks to get rid of a zit from the time it formed until the red spot went away. With these dots, it takes 2 days tops. I highly recommend these...they really work!!
Most Helpful Critical Review Save your money. Buy something else.
I get that some people say they don't agree with those with a lower review, however you should not have to go through as much trouble as using scotch tape to keep it on your face or a needle to get it off its final packaging. The packaging is flawed. Your money should be spent on a product that actually functions without ANY hassle. It should not take you thirty minutes to put a dot on your face. Don't waste the money. It seemed to help inflammation but it just isn't worth it. It stays on for a couple hours and beings to melt down your face. I tried sleeping in them because they said it works great at night. Woke up in the middle of the night with goop smeared across my face, my pillow, my sheets, and even my hair. Such a waste and a mess. Invest in a company who solely focuses on spot stickers like zitsticka. Their patches are stable, very functional, they will stay on longer than 8 hours if needed. No messiness. Go somewhere else if your looking for a functional product.

i don't really like this, i was using these and they kept on falling right off. it doesn't work and don't waste your money on this.
Not bad. I like it.
TJones from Colorado
It worked pretty good for me. It helped with the irritation and redness and it kind of pulled the pimple out. I wore it overnight and in the morning when I took it off the pimple was pretty much gone. I'll buy more.
I really don't understand all the hate on this product!

I am getting married tomorrow (tiny socially distanced wedding of course) and I cannot thank this product enough!! Masks have been irritating my skin and I had this horrible pimple on my cheek that I thought I would never get rid of by my wedding. These dots don't work miracles, but close enough IMO. After wearing one for probably 15 hours, I'm in a situation that can be concealed with makeup!
They are a pain to remove from the plastic, but just do it carefully and make sure your hands are dry. Also, once you remove it from the plastic, run it under water for a second before applying and it will stay in place. I didn't have any issues even wearing it overnight.
I would give 0 stars
Disappointed from Raleigh, NC
Horrible!! Put the patches on successfully then woke up with black goop all over my face!! Had to wash off which irritated my sensitive skin and made the zits hurt?? Not only that, it caused a RASH on one side of my face. DONT get!!!! Even if it's the only pimple patch product in the store, it's NOT worth it.
Sara from Alton
Never really liked their products but wanted to give another chance on a different product. So I got acne dots and they aren't even sticky. Fell right off the clear thing when pulled out of package.
Worked for me!
Cass from Kansas
Not sure how the other reviewers are trying to get the dots off the sheet but I've never had an issue with ripping. They also always stay on my face at night and they've never "melted" onto anything other than my face. Just used one today and my pimple is already way done and not painful. I get these all the time for pimples!
I'd give NO Stars if I could
Justine from California
With so many other options on the market for zit dots I don't understand how these have good reviews. These are HORRIBLE! With no other zit dot do i have to wet my skin in order for them to stick and do their job, with no other brand do i have to struggle to even get the dots off the plastic sheet, and with no other dots do i have to deal with them melting all over my face and ruining my bedding. Not to mention the AWFUL packaging, seriously it's so much unnessecary packaging that is just wasteful. I wouldn't even reccomend these to my worst enemy.
Bought Twice! Will Buy Again!
Ami from Georgia
I've bought this item twice now and granted two dots didn't want to stick on my face but once it's on there it does its job! The pimple went down and was gone after 2-3 days (with proper washing + face regimen).
I also use the "Tomatoes Detoxifying Charcoal Acne Spot Treatment" in the morning to help fight the acne. It works great as well!
Like many other reviews, the dots are a little difficult to get off and for it to "stick" on your face. Once I followed the directions thoroughly, it wasn't hard to use. After washing your face, dry it and dry your hands. Open the product, use a Q-tip to make the pimple/zit wet, DRY HANDS AGAIN, and apply it to the spot. Hold the dot there for a few seconds with dry hands and it'll stay.
How do they even sell these?
SadSarah from Colorado
I don't understand how these are still on the shelves, I wasted 2/3 of them just trying to pull them off the film. They just shred into tiny pieces are the plastic dot peels with the product still on the film. The few I have used I have patched back together on my face. I threw the rest of the pack away and will go back to buy another brand.
It gets the job done
Mares from IL
If you have regular fingernails these are so easy to peel off the sheet. I touched the tip of my faucet once I was done with the sink to get my finger damp, dabbed it over my problem spot, then stuck it in easy peazy. Wore it in my face overnight and they didn't budge nor completely dissolve (if it does you used way too much water). In the morning I peeled them off, noticed I'd clarified some areas and brought the whitehead out of another, washed my face and went on with my day.
Confused on bad reviews
Halet from IN
I am honesty really confused on all of the bad reviews. I was very hesitate on trying these after reading all of the reviews but I decided to try them anyway and let me tell you, THEY WORK. They stay on my face all night and I woke up with significantly smaller zits. They do leave a red residue on your face the next day but just take a makeup wipe to it and it comes off easily. I would defiantly recommend to someone if you need a big zit gone or smaller the next day.
M from Kennesaw, Ga
This product is amazing! I'll put a patch on at night, and the acne will be gone in the morning! I recommend making sure your hands are dry before attempting to take the dot off of the clear plastic. I usually cleanse my face and then moisten the affected area with toner before placing the dot directly on top of my acne. I haven't found anything better and the price is amazing too!
DOES NOT WORK
20SomthingYearOld from Redlands, CA
Sorry YesTo, but this is a product that has failed me and disappointed me one to many times. I have many photos to prove that I could not even get the sticker off of the sheet to use it. I followed all directions and even watched YouTube videos to make sure I was doing it correctly. Nope, it's this poor quality product. Also, the small scraps I was able to use did not do anything to my blemishes. I won't be buying again. Sorry.
Melted to my face
Ashley from Spokane, WA
I used the product overnight as instructed, and when I awoke, there were several of the dots half melted to me or my sheets. It didn't provide any zit zapping, as advertised.
Melted off my face
Lindsey from Columbus, Ohio
I bought these when my regular patches were out of stock. Seemed fine at first. Followed all instructions, dot stuck nicely. About 20 minutes later, I had red goo dripping down my face. All of the color had melted off of the patch leaving a piece of clear plastic. I tried another in case it was a fluke- same thing happened. Threw them all in the trash. Waste of money.
Amazing for sensative skin
NiaKim20034 from NJ
I'm 17 so of course I'm gonna get acne. My acne is extremely bad though so I used OXY (another acne wash) and then used the dots. You can already see the result of the stuff in the pimple. It's amazing and I love it so much. My skin is acne prone, sensative and very oily, but these dots did not burn at all and were extremely easy to use. A little bit on the expensive side but other than that it's amazing. I do recommend putting it on before bed though.
DO NOT BUY! Please try a different brand

I've tried multiple brands and these are not like the other ones, these leave goop on your skin. Do not buy terrible ingredients!
Not what I was expecting
Vans from Dallas, TX
I've never really had problems with breakouts, but since either have to wear a face mask 10 hours a day, I've been breaking out along my chin. I bought these to try out and see if they would help. I put one dot on 3 separate pimples I had, left them overnight, and come the morning they looked the exact same. The packaging does say zit zapping or whatever, so I guess these are more for bigger pimples and zits. Either way, kind of a waste of $$.
They work fine!

These stuck to my forehead ALL night. I'm a fan.
Impossible to use, and an absolutely worthless product
BeautyDad from BC
First of all, it is virtually impossible to peel a patch off of the backing without tearing, stretching, or destroying the patch in the process. I destroyed 4 before I got one off. While applying it, it became clear that the actual mask layer is SO SO thin, that it does nothing at all except to leave a tiny faint smear of color. Basically, there is virually NO mask product on the back of the dot. There is not enough product to absorb any oil at all. These things are basically INCREDIBLY FRAGILE, USELESS colorful stickers for your face. Don't be fooled by the pretty packaging, these things really do suck.
3M Nexcare Acne Blemish Cover Patches are a FAR superior product, and they are less expensive too. They are easy to apply, and do a great job to absorb extra oil and sebum, and do a great job of erasing whiteheads overnight, so you don't have to pop them and cause more damage and infection and inflammation.
Worked for me
Kait from Indianapolis, IN
I wanted to review this product, because there are bad reviews & wanted to give my experience. I used these patches for a very ripe white head & it did exactly what I wanted it to do. I followed the instructions for application. I applied on my damp blemish right after cleansing (before using serums & moisturizer). The patch stayed very well, and didn't have any issues with it not sticking. I gave 4 stars because the patch was hard to peel off the backing, but I was able to slowly peel it off using my nail. The patch effectively worked to remove the white head to heal it faster.
worth it, give them a try
Lyn from Co
they work best on pimples that are coming in and haven't surfaced yet, usually if i use the dots two nights in a row it disappears. i really enjoy them because i don't have to deal with scarring from pimples.
i see people saying that they don't stick, all you have to do is peel the dot off of the plastic and wet that side of the dot with a drop of water and press it the pimple and dry around it so it doesn't slide.
the only downside is that sometimes the dots don't peel off of the plastic and they break apart, i think it's because they dry out once you open a pack.
it comes with 4 packs, 2 w/ red dots and 2 w/ black dots (idk the difference) and each pack has 6 dots.
did not stick to pimples
Cathy from Biloxi
i followed the instructions. it required a dab of water to make it sticks to the skin. It took me several 'dabs' of water, but it was still barely stuck to the pimples. It fell off before i fell asleep. i think you can get a better pimple patch than this.
H from Detroit
I love this product. I don't have acne, but I probably get 1-3 zits a month here and there. I have sensitive and dry skin and these don't dry out the whole area It's stuck to, it's like it just focuses on the pimple. The only thing is that it usually takes me 2 uses to clear a pimple up completely but compared to how long it usually takes for a pimple to clear up I don't mind. They also don't fall off during the night no matter how much I toss and turn
Teresa from Scottsdale az
I don't know if i applied these correctly but they are sticking pretty good. I washed my face with my regular cleanser, dried it and then bent the plastic backwards (slowly) to remove the dots. I wet the tip of one finger and dabbed the zit. The water was cold. I had no issues applying these dots to my face. They stuck really good and quickly. I have been messing with them for a bit now to see if i could feel less swelling of the zit. They seem to be working. Only reason im giving three stars is because i have not removed them to see the end results. Obviously the zit will not be gone completely but i will buy more if i see a significant improvement.
