Most Helpful Positive Review Amazing Clean and Vegan Serum I received this product complimentary. Here are my thoughts on the Boscia Vegan Collagen Booster Serum.
Pros---
1. The packaging is simplistic and minimal. The cap has a twist up / twist down mechanism so it's really easy to travel with, and great for no accidental spillage.
2. The ingredients are really good quality stuff. 100% vegan, no artificial fragrances, cruetly-, color-, and preservative- free. It has no distinct smell so anyone who is sensitive to scent should definitely give this a try if you're looking for a collagen boosting serum.
3. This serum has a great gel texture that glides very smoothly and absorbs quickly into the skin. I have oily combination skin type and I LOVE gel formulas because it's better for my oily t-zone areas, absorbs into my skin better, and leaves a softer and more hydrated look.
4. This product is recommended to be used 2x / day for maximum benefits. I absolutely agree. It has definitely improved the look of fine lines on my face (forehead, smile lines, eyes) and smoothed the dry spots on my cheek bones. I also noticed that this serum has helped smooth the lines and skin on my neck.
Cons---
1. The twist cap came off on my first use (I guess I used too much force when twisting lol) and I just stuck it back in. It works fine, but I can see potential problems with this type of packaging. Just be careful when twisting the cap and make sure to listen for the clicks.
2. I would have liked more firming and tightness to this serum. I'm used to collagen products that provide more firmness to the skin - to help pull the skin back and improve sagging skin. But guessing that this product is all plant based with botanical science, the firming and tightness is more mild.
I plan to continue using this in my morning skincare regime. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a clean and vegan collagen boosting serum!
Most Helpful Critical Review The reviews are right; sticky not moisturizing I am all about water based moisturizers. I have highly porous and oily skin, and experience all 4 seasons. I first fell in love with the Belif aqua bomb moisturizer, love the smell and consistency. Of course I am open to new things and heard a lot of hype about this product. So I was willing to try, I don't care much for "vegan" ( I love honey) but I do like natural and plant based things, especially for hair and skincare. Sadly it doesn't like up to the expectation. First thing I noticed was how sticky it was. Then I noticed how it sits on my face and doesn't absorb... even in the next morning. It's like a mask, it's really weird. I'm just going to stick back to my belif moisturizer, it's the same exact price, the smell is great and it's absorbs into the skin. I'm sorry to give this a bad review, but for this price it's not worth it.

The product itself is kind of weirdly sticky and doesn't smell great, but I wanted to try something new and it had great reviews. I noticed pretty quickly the more I used, the drier my skin got. Turns out it was dry because it was a rash, and in a matter of days I had flaky, itchy patches. I did a little research and apparently if you have an allergy to latex like I do, you may also be allergic to aloe and other similar plant goop like what they put in this. I guess that was the problem I was having, so I gave it up and went back to Kiehl's and my skin healed up immediately.

Hides fine lines, feels great on my face
Sticky feeling 2
Jenn from Los Angeles
Initially this moisturizer feels great but then it feels yucky. I run my hand down my cheek and it literally feels like a sticky, dry mess. I put the moisturizer in my neck too and now my whole face and neck feels gross.
Would not purchase again 2

Unfortunately this product did not work for me. As much as I wanted it to. The jar was more than halfway empty. And after about a week of use it created milia around my eye. I had to return it.
My FAVORITE Lightweight Moisturizer 5
Madison from Florida
This moisturizer has been a lifesaver for my mask acne! It's super lightweight, so it won't be too much going on under your makeup or anything. It absorbs into my skin super well, and I love the consistency. Only downfall is I hate the bulky packaging when the actual product doesn't take up much of it.
If you use it right, it's a great product 4

This is a great product IF you don't slather it on. I use in the evenings. First, I remove my eye makeup with wet n wild under the sheets makeup wipes or coconut oil. Then, I remove my face makeup using the Avant Biphase Micellar Water. I next cleanse with an acne wash with a 2.5% concentration of hydrogen peroxide, and tone with a toner that I buy from a natural skincare company that's composed of apple cider vinegar and herbs. I apply my retinol treatment and let that dry, waiting about 1 minute before moisturizing with the Boscia cactus Water moisturizer.... I then pat, not rub, this moisturizer into my skin. I pat it lightly onto all areas of my face and neck...less is more. You need to start with a pea sized amount and if you need more, add it. This gel moisturizer contains a LOT of really skin loving ingredients and it may be thick and can be tacky if it's gooped onto your skin. Using sparingly and pressing or patting into my skin, I find the slight sticky sensation it leaves behind disappates in less than a minute and find there to be no pilling or build up. You can also use a thicker layer as a sleeping mask.
Expensive aloe vera gel 1
Julie from Chicago
I'm a BIG fan of Boscia but this product is a flop. It's basically an expensive aloe vera gel that offers no hydration. I would not recommend.

My new favorite day time moisturizer. I've tried a few in my day since I'm super dry and sensitive. After a few uses of all the others I would always get the slight burning feeling because it just didn't agree with my skin. But this is a home run in my book. It makes my skin feel so soft and hydrated. With the cactus water, I've noticed it also leaves this soothing, slightly cool and refreshing feeling on my skin. This is my new staple.

this is the perfect moisturizer, i use it every night and my skin looks gorgeous when i wake up. it goes on pretty sticky (which is why i've been using it pm) but when i wake up my skin feels super hydrated.
My favorite moisturizer for oily skin! 5
Chelzzzm from Cleveland
I love gel/water moisturizers, but this has to be my #1 fav! I received a sample, and knew I needed to purchase a full size jar. A little goes a long way, so at night time I use a small amount (after cleansing, I use FAB cream on damp skin, before applying adapaline) so finishing my skincare with a little of this, is perfect. Now during the day, I like to use a little more bc it makes for a great base for foundation!
Good Product!! 4

I've been using this product for about 3 weeks and it's nice. I love the warming sensation and it does great with cleansing my face even with a glam beat. It's a little hard to pump but definitely not a deal breaker. I previously used Fresh Soy Face Cleanser which I love, but I would use this one again.

okay guys honest review here. i have struggle with black heads for as long as i can remember. it seems like every pore in my t zone and chin is a dark sort of under the skin black head. i was ready to leave this review two days into using it but i thought let me be sure before i sell you guys false hope. i've been using it for about a week now and i can honestly say i am so stinkin impressed. the black heads on my nose have improved significantly and i've def noticed some shrinking in my pores. i will use this product for years to come. the ONLY reason i gave four stars instead of 5 is because the pump is weird. i ended up breaking it trying to figure it out. i am more than happy to deal with it for what it's done for my skin though
does not smell like anything which is a win win for mee 5

after you apply it on your skin it will seem like its a sticky moisturizer, but it will dry really quick and keep ur skin soft.
My favorite moisturizer 5
Amanda from Dallas
I love this moisturizer. Any time I try a new moisturizer I always come back to this because for me, nothing compares. I don't experience any tackiness or pilling that others have experienced. It absorbs into my oily skin nicely and is extremely hydrating. I also don't breakout from this, and I have oily acne prone (due to PCOS) skin. I have nothing but good things to say about this moisturizer.
Not really worth the money 3
VKP from Dallas, TX
This is a pretty pricey moisturizer. I have been using it for at least six months and I have generally been using it in my AM routine. I like the smell and feeling when you apply it, but anything more than a very thin layer leaves a very sticky feeling on my face. It doesn't feel very hydrating or luxurious. I only apply a thin layer and then put a tinted moisturizer on top to reduce the sticky feeling during the day.
Two good things about it are that makeup goes on top of it very nicely and it does not clog my pores at all.
Still, I don't think I would buy this again.
Holy Grail! 5
Ri from Cincinnati Ohio
After years of searching I finally found my Holy Grail moisturizer. Yes, it can be sticky for a little while after applying but the benefits are worth it. It soaks into my skin and gives me this beautiful glow. It has very unique gel texture. I have combo to acne-prone skin and it works great for me. Please don't ever change this formula. If there is anything I would change, it would be that it comes in a bottle with a pump. I'm about to go and buy another one because I'm almost out.
I love this cream but you pay to much for so little!! 3

They need to add more product to the packaging.! I would give another star but i think this cream is so expensive for what you get.!
Definitely Cleaner Pores 5

I have only used for past week. Yes, the pump is not as easy as others but not a deal breaker for me. I use 1 pump, and use a circular motion in problem areas. I am in my late 50's and don't see any issue with dry skin. I use once a day.
It's just as effective as a charcoal mask but without the hassle.

I have oily acne prone skin. This stuff did not absorb into my skin at all and I had to use a lot to just make my skin feel moisturized.
Light daytime moisturizer! 5
Sarah from TX
When used correctly and for the right skin type...this moisturizer is fabulous! First off of you have dry skin, this may not work for you. However if you have oily skin this works great! I do not use this at night, I like my heavy duty stuff at night. I do use this for the daytime and a very SMALL amount goes a long way. I give it a few to soak in. It's not tacky for me because I use a small amount and let it soak in, less than 5 min. It's nice and light and not greasy. I wouldn't use this in the winter, too light. I actually had a cut on the corner of my mouth and it soothed and healed it in no time! You get a large amount and I like to use it on my chest sometimes too! Remember use sparingly, don't slather this stuff on or it will be a sticky mess.
Not good 1
G from Oregon
At first this moisturizer was okay, but then it started to burn my skin a little after applying it. It also sometimes starts pilling after applying my CeraVe Healing Ointment. Definitely not worth the money.

Love this product. I tried Tula bc this was no longer being carried in stores. I have broken out. Ordering this again online.
Gentle Cleanser 4
MichyT from East Brunswick, NJ
This is a gentle cleanser that I use every evening as part of my double cleansing routine. I like the warming sensation and how it helps to open up the pores for a deeper cleanse. I haven't noticed any drastic difference in my pores but it keeps them in check and cleanse my skin without overdrying. It has a relatively short list of ingredients (20) including plant extracts and glycolic acid.

I received this moisturizer as a sample, and I was sooo disappointed. First off, the smell is overwhelming. The tackiness after putting it on was terrible.. I felt sticky for a solid 30 minutes after. Definitely sticking to my current moisturizer.
