Comments about Drybar Detox Dry Shampoo For Brunettes:

I was so elated when I first sprayed this Brown tinted version in my hair with a tester in the store... finally my fine flat hair look like it had volume and shine and it filled in what felt like the blank spots. I was mesmerised and ran to the register to purchase it ..I've tried many dry shampoos before but never had this effect. As I drove away in the car the first thing that caught me was the scent so overpoweringly Strangely perfumey I can't even describe it. I was willing to put up with the smell because of the way my hair looked but as I glanced at myself in the rearview mirror and ran my fingers through my hair they came out coated with brown powder...disgusting. I can't imagine my husband running his hands through my hair or laying down on my pillow at night with this kind of effect. Turn right around and returned it to the store. Even after brushing my hair a few times hours later I could still run my fingers through it and they would collect this brown residue. Leave this one on the shelf and less you want to be an absolute Brown Dusty looking mess

I love this dry shampoo! I always get compliments on how it makes my hair smell. It also adds volume!! During football season I take it with me in my purse to put in when my hair starts to get flat... it's that good! However, it does cause my hair to get tangled easier but not enough to bother me.

Comments about Drybar Detox Dry Shampoo For Brunettes:

This is like dye in a can. My forehead and ears were covered and my hands brown every time I touched my hair. This adds pigment, it's not your traditional slightly less gray dry shampoo for brunettes. I returned.

    The BEST multitasker

    By KimberlyD_Salz

    from Spring, TX

Comments about Drybar Detox Dry Shampoo For Brunettes:

If you battle oily scalp, just want a refresher after a couple of days, or have roots that need to be disguised this is the product for you. The smell is fresh (I get compliments on how my hair smells) and lot goes a long way!
The product is not as messy as many reviews state. Not sure how it's getting all over a bathroom unless the bottle is defective. However, this is topical and will come off if you "scratch" your scalp. I can go several days with one application and my hair feels freshly washed. Simply brush it through your hair after you've sprayed a little into the desired area and you're set! It's a life saver and much better than the Batiste- which does not conceal roots and leaves a more powdery residue in the hair.

Great smell, works great for women with alopecia

Comments about Drybar Detox Dry Shampoo For Brunettes:

I have alopecia, so I use this product to cover my scalp. Having thinning hair sucks, the dermatology treatment I've been receiving for the past few years has worked wonders for my hair's regrowth, but my hair is still thin on the top & top/back of my head. This product is the very best tinted dry shampoo I've ever used. I see so many negative reviews about the brown stuff getting on your hands if you touch your hair. I've never found one tinted dry shampoo that DIDN'T get brown stuff on my hands, pillow case, etc. So yes, you'll need to wash your hair before bed or cover your pillow case. This is a tinted hair product, not magic. That being said, this product has the least amount of stuff falling onto my face, clothing, etc. compared to the other 6 brands I've used. The smell is AWESOME, maybe a bit overpowering, but I've actually had compliments on how good I smell (lol). Also, this product gives my hair GREAT volume!

Please don't spend your money on this.

      By NurseWhitney

      from Kentucky

Comments about Drybar Detox Dry Shampoo For Brunettes:

I was so excited to try this because I've been using Batiste Divine Dark dry shampoo and I love it, so I assumed because of the price point and this being a prestige brand that this would be an even better version of that. Nope. This is terrible. It matted my hair. Made it look dirtier. The smell was terrible. Didn't give me ANY volume. I couldn't even get through the whole bottle before running back to my Batiste. Spend your money elsewhere.

Comments about Drybar Detox Dry Shampoo For Brunettes:

This is wonderful as a dry shampoo. It got rid of the oil in my hair. It's also great for dark hair and hides lighter roots and grays. My only complaint is that it gets all over me. I didn't mind that I got some on my forehead after application; it came right off. My biggest problem is that whenever I scratch my scalp it gets all over my fingers. I rinsed my hair the night after using it (no shampoo, just water), and the next day it is still getting all over my fingers. It also makes hair easier to tangle, but I'm not expecting my hair to be super smooth after not washing for a few days.

Comments about Drybar Detox Dry Shampoo For Brunettes:

Just bought this and thought it'd be great for my brown hair. Unfortunately, it does the opposite to my hair than what it's supposed to. While I've noticed the brown coloring some (I don't use a lot at one time), my biggest problem is the residue it leaves in my hair. My hair feels dirtier than it did before I applied it and makes my scalp itch. When I scratch my scalp, I do notice the brown coloring on my fingers.
