Most Helpful Positive Review Surprised me on how well it worked!
The [product:nyx-dazed-diffused-blurring-lipstick] is a hidden gem and I highly recommend it for people who like full lips or even that ombré look. It pulls inspiration from Korean beauty looks with their iconic gradient lip, but let's be honest here, that look is pretty hard to get even with Korean based products made for that (I would know I have a ton HAHA)
I had some hesitations about it when I first got it. I legit thought it was a gimmick because things like this have been done in the past and most of them were only okay 😗 but this NYX lipstick surprised me. Yes, I do have some experience with gradient lips but this lipstick made it so much easier to achieve. Also, you can do a full lip with this EASY or even line your lips, it's so buttery and smooth.
The brush end is probably what I like most about it. I thought it would just be one of those typical brushes provided that you would just ignore and use your own BUT UHHH THE ONE INCLUDED TO PRETTY GOOD IN MY OPINION. I like it better than the lip brush I got from Etude House and that says something. I did a very light layer in this photo just to give my lips a pop of color and it's amazing. I usually don't like my lips but this gave me a bit of self-confidence 🥺
Overall, I love this and going to use it more often and going to buy other colors too! My housemate literally complimented my lips today and asked what I did to it ♥️
SUMMARY: surprisingly good. easy to work with. great brush included. I received this product complimentary for review purposes.
Most Helpful Critical Review Maybe next time
This lipstick was a little more difficult for me to review because I couldnt get passed the color. Im more of a nude girl but occasionally I do darker terracottas. The concept was there. I like the fact that I could tone down this orangey red color (En Fuego) Im not a fan of wood pencils becausethe formula tends to be dry in my opinion. And it was just that in this situation. Maybe it was a bad batch but the formula was dry, lots of tugging on my lips. I really don't like that. im inmy mid 30's so being delicate with my skin is top priority. I put it on at 10 am and by noon it was gone. Very disappointing. It didnt smell of anything to me.
Basically a dry formula that didnt last but an hour or so. Wasnt a fan of the color. Maybe next time

So just bought roller disco, on a bit of a whim really, along with one of the NYX matte lipsticks, to wear by itself and together. anyway, it looks great when applied for a more opaque look! applies more like a pink with a small hint of purple, and will fade to just pink over time. i'd say that it does last a long time, but will on its own transform to the blurred, and sometimes the ombre look throughout the day. the good thing is that, that actually works well for me as a more causal wearer. if you want it for full coverage/opaque look you'll need to stay on top of it and reapply, but otherwise i've really enjoyed it. (i also apply after using a lip exfoliator so it'll apply smoothly)
Love this color

I got this from my husband. I asked for a dark purple and he and the man who helped came through! Looove it!!
Amazing Lip Liner/Lipstick
Anna from Miami, Florida
Love this lip pencil!! I have the shade "Unwind" which is the perfect neutral cool brown that is perfect to contour the lips. Very creamy formula, but once it dries down it lasts so well! Love this product so much and will continue to repurchase and try other shades!
Great color and blending
Momof3 from Caldwell, ID
Good product— creamy, blendable color without drying out my lips. Only wish it had better staying power— I have to reapply a few times throughout the day.

I've tried both this and the Buxom lip liner and in all honesty, I prefer the Nyx one. It applies smoother and blends out a lot easier. My only issue with it is the shade options. I was hoping to get something a little more dark-skinned friends neutral brown (something like Chestnut from MAC) but I settled on 90s Babe and it still worked out, but I'd appreciate something a little more in the brown family
Nice application but 'very fairy' not as pictured

Very nice going on. I couldn't get full coverage unless I went over it a few times, but I'm used to wearing an opaque liquid lip, so maybe that's just my expectations. At first I thought it was showing up more blue than shown on the packaging (very fairy), but maybe not??? after I got full- coverage. It's definitely bluer than shown in the online listing, so Im disappointed. The swatch in the pic of the forearms show how blue it actually is. The brush is nice, but if you use it to blend what's already on your lip & dont pick up more product from the crayon, you have to reapply to keep full coverage where u blend from. The product isn't as long-lasting as other products I use, so its not quite what I was hoping for. Still a nice product, though.
I never thought I needed a brush on the end of my lip pencil

This is by far the best product line I have ever bought there is no color that I have bought that doesn't 1-last & 2- go on smoothly, please run to your local store and buy them!
I would definitely buy this again!

I use a lip primer first, then use the lip stick. Goes on very easily and stays great.

Absolutely stunning. I love it. Smooth application and lasts all day. Would recommend a gloss topping to ensure that the coating stays smooth.

I am obsessed with these! They are the PERFECT liner to ANY look! I will soon own even shade!!!!
so much fun to play with!

I'm usually very much an intense matte lipstick person, so this blurring lippie was a new look for me and one I had a lot of fun with. It goes on smooth, highly pigmented but not drying, and the brush works well for blending and blurring. The finish ended up being sort of satiny on me— not fully dried down, but not too much transfer. The only reason I'm giving it four stars instead of five is that the colour is definitely warmer in person than it looks online. I was expecting a very cool-toned, nearly indigo purple, and the actual lipstick has more plum/violet undertones. Luckily it's still a good shade on me, but there was definitely a moment of disappointment upon realising that the colour wasn't what I'd thought it was

I always use a lip liner. You have to if you are light skinned and like darker lip shades. This is nice because its all in one. Its smooth texture allows you to go from a light, bitten lip look to a full, deeply pigmented lip. The brush is nice and allows not only blending, but also control on the edges to make your lipstick straight and nice.

Texture , application price perfecT ! A less pricey version of Buxoms cubby pencils . The only gripe is I wish they had a better color selection. The colors are ok but only a few are wearable for day.

Beautiful results when you diffuse the color with the brush.

The color can go from day to night, perfectly
Where has this been all my life?

I love love love the color! Not too bold, doesn't disappear on my lips. It goes on smoothly in a matte finish.

I can use this as just a liner or an overall lip color

Multi-use.... line and lipstick in one!
Nita from Minnesota
I love this product! When applying this product, it looks similar to a lip tint. The diffused brush at the end is soft so it won't feel like you are hurting your lips or anything. If you're more into like soft make-up looks, this product would be a good addition to your collection.
I also bought this product in 'classic red' too.
lilweisgirl from STL
It's just a regular lipstick pencil. The brush on the other end is pointless because the lipstick doesn't blend well at all. The color doesn't last, at least not on me. It's a typical lipstick pencil. That's it. The color IS vibrant, but that's it.
DocArtist from Kingsport TN
I love to use it as a liner as well as just by itself.
I wouldn't buy this item again.
Greek1 from Charleston, WV
I gave this a 2 star because the color isn't what I thought once I applied it. I don't feel the blur effect works that well either. Love NYX products, but this wasn't as great.
Andy from Kentucky
I got this on a whim once and had to order another. It's super easy to use and stays on for quite a while.

Wish it was creamier

This pencil is a little dry and it takes a bit of effort to get it all over your lips.
