This is one of my favorite conditioners. You can use it as a rinse out or a leave-in conditioner. It makes my hair super soft and very moisturized. When you blow dry your hair, it leaves a beautiful luster to the hair. I will be repurchasing this item again.

My hair felt so stripped and tight with this conditioner. It tangled my hair so badly, ugh! I think my hair looked okay but I could not bring myself to use this again. I remember really like Redken products for my hair but clearly this was not for me.

Ok curls, but made my scalp itch like crazy!

Comments about Redken Curvaceous High-Foam Cleanser:

I used this with the conditioner for a few weeks. Curly's looked decent. Then I noticed my scalp itching more and more each day until it was unbearable! Stopped using it and the problem went away. I have never had this issue with other products. They went in the trash.

          perfume!

          By Mica me

          from Texas

Comments about Redken Curvaceous High-Foam Cleanser:

I have naturally curly hair and generally use shampoos designed for curls. This worked fine and kept my hair curly. My hair has been a little dry, but that may be due to the matching conditioner being too light rather than the shampoo. However, I can't get past the smell - it's really strong! It's an overwhelming chemically perfume smell that lingers all morning. Co-workers could smell it when I just casually walked by. It's not a horrible smell, but it's not a particularly nice one either - made me very self conscious that I was stinking up the office. I usually don't dry my hair all the way so that may contribute to the longevity of the smell.

Comments about Redken Curvaceous High-Foam Cleanser:

I am from Michigan and find that with this product my hair would get oily by about hour 30. Prior to this product my hair would get greasy after 10 hours. I am currently in Denver for the summer, which has a much dryer climate, I went roughly 50 hours before my hair felt gross and it was only because I worked out.
I do have a perm and have been using this product since Christmas and I am in love with it. I have never had so many people tell me my hair smells good.
Like any shampoo or conditioner amount is key, you NEED to use water with this brand, a little goes a long way.
This product leaves my hair soft, light weight, shiny, and tames my frizz.
I pair the high foam shampoo with the no foam conditioner, and I use the curvaceous mousse as well.

I tried a number of premium shampoos for wavy/curly hair. This was the best for my Type 2a-c dry, medium length color-processed hair. Brought out the curls better than the other brands and didn't weigh down my thin to average amount of medium fine hair.

We recommend the Curvaceous Low Foam Moisturizing Cleanser with the Curvaceous Dual Usage Conditioner. The shampoo will provide a gentle cleanse that will not dry out curls and will help control frizz. The conditioner can be use as a leave-in or a rinse-out and will provide weightless conditioning and moisture.

Thank you for allowing us to clarify. Curvaceous Cleansers all provide a gentle cleanse, balanced moisture, and curl definition.

High Foam Curvaceous Cleanser is best for finer hair and looser waves.
Low-Foam is great for medium to thick hair, curls and moderate frizz.
No-Foam Cleanser is ideal for tighter curls, thicker, drier and frizz prone tresses.

We hope that this information is helpful!

Hi I am trying the Redken Curvaceous line for the first time. What is the difference between the High, Low, and no foam cleansers? I have hair that is wavy, dry, highlighted, fine with a coarse texture which tends to get frizzy (especially in humidity which is common where I live). I also have a water softener, does that have any effect on the Redken Shampoos and conditioners? Thanks!
