Learned a lot from Deva Curl but so expensive to use as a detangler. Deva works slightly better but this smells better and doesn't break the bank.

Great product, however the label is a bit confusing. I was not sure if it was just a conditioner, a shampoo or both, very light but you have to add a lot to detangle your hair.

                  Comments about Redken Curvaceous Conditioner:

I've been experimenting with different products for curly hair and I must say that this has been the best shampoo and conditioner that I have used thus far. It leaves my hair feeling really soft. I noticed that the dry feeling that another product gave me is finally going away. My husband loves the smell (which is a plus hah). I will say that my hair is still frizzy. I've only been using it for a week though so that might change! My curls are more defined though. It's a very lightweight product which if you have curly hair you know that's a plus.

I have naturally curly hair, which is full and bouncy if I diffuse. I sometimes like to blow it out straight. Will the Curvaceous conditioner "lock in" my curls too well preventing me from being able to get it nice and straight on occasion?

                      A:

Curvaceous Conditioner is a 2 in 1 formula that tends to the needs of curly hair by providing intense moisture and weightless conditioning. It can be left in or rinsed out. It will not create a permanent effect and prohibit straightening.

You may wish to alternate with our Frizz Dismiss system when you choose to wear your hair straight. Frizz Dismiss is a great selection for smoothing and humidity protection. Use the link below for more product details

Yes, all Redken Shampoos and Conditioners are safe for use on color treated hair. Curvaceous products incorporate UV filters into their formulas to protect hair color from the sun, too! Your curls and your color will thank you for using Redken Curvaceous!

I've been using Frizz Dismiss products on my course, short curly/wavy color treated hair for quite some time. Although I love it, am looking for a change. Considering other Redken products. Looked at Curvaceous, having only used leave-in conditioner, which I liked as well. Noticed there is a newer product. Now I'm confused! Can you give me a recommendation. Id appreciate it.

                      A:

Redken Curvaceous Conditioner is a great product that can be used as a leave-in product for extra conditioning, or it can be rinsed out for lighter conditioning. It provides nourishment, frizz control and definition for all types of curls. For curls that require extra moisture and maximum frizz control, you should try the Curvaceous No Foam Conditioning Cleanser.

We do not believe that there should be any issue with using our products; however, since our products have not been tested in conjunction with Brazilian Keratin Relaxers, we cannot provide you with usage information.
