Most Helpful Positive Review The right file for those that hate filing I hate filing my nails. You know the nails on a chalkboard sound/feeling - the shiver of revulsion that runs through you? It feels like that to me. I read about glass/crystal files online and how they were much faster, so I gave this a try. It's more expensive than emery boards, but it's supposed to last longer than they do. I bought mine a week ago, so I can't speak to that yet. The feeling of using it is much better than emery boards, and it did work much quicker as well. I think this is the first time I made it all the way through shaping each nail! I recommend it if you have that shiver down your spine when you use normal emery boards or just want to get the nails filed faster. It is smaller than normal emery boards, as one reviewer commented, but it's still a good size for the job.
Most Helpful Critical Review I wouldn't buy an ulta brand crystal nail file I was disappointed with this because it started wearing out the first time I used it. My nails are thick so maybe it's not great for people with strong nails.

come in two of them. So one is for to-go, another is for home/desk. Gentle on my fragile nails.
Just what I needed 4
Kathy from Pittsburgh
I got this to carry in my purse and to keep on an end table for those quick needs. I have another (longer) one and I like it.
Not worth it 1
Anna from CT
not really worth the money, it barely files my nails
Would definitely recommend 5

Been looking for a glass file for a while. They are hard to find. I like this one because it's smaller and comes with a carrying case. I had a normal sized one before and it got broke traveling. This one is more compact and protected.
Not worth the price 2

I got this crystal nail file in the hopes of helping my ever-breaking nails. But in the time that it takes me to file all my nails, I feel I could've watched a whole episode of The Office. I mean, it works if you have the patience for it but it's way too small and inefficient for the price.
Wears out fast 1

Only buy if your aware its temporary. I've used a cheap non brand one for years that broke, bought this and it didn't last me a year with minimal use.
CHEAP PLASTIC CASE. 3

I really thought I'd get a better quality file and case for the price I paid. The file was okay, but very small. More of a travel size. The case was really cheap, ugly plastic. I could have gotten 2 for this same price from a certain online retailer.
Never ever use normal nail files again! 5

I've always hated traditional nail files as the feeling/sound is so uncomfortable to me and I find my nails end up breaking and splitting apart so quickly. I heard about crystal nail files in a nail tutorial on YouTube so I got this. I absolutely love this so much and I can't understand why I didn't get this sooner. My nails no longer breaks and there's no cringe feeling/sound. Just be careful not to drop it and you'll be fine
Not for the clumsy 3

Dropped it once and it shattered
Nice and smooth on brittle nails 5

My nails are extremely thin and brittle. This nail file does a very good job of smoothing the edges without making the situation worse. The carrying case is nice.
Really good 4

The worlds smallest nail file, not worth it at all, but it's cute I guess?
Yes, I would recommend this Crystal nail file 5

I bought this Crystal nail file for my purse , it s small, handy, and it comes with a case. I thought it was a little
pricey, because it was so small. Over all I am happy with it.
Do not buy 1

I use a nail file once a week. This particular size and brand was really disappointing. The case almost never stays together, the grit on the surface doesn't file anything, and there's only about 2.5 inches of usable surface.
I love this item. I buy it for all my friends. 5

Smooths rough edges or snags off the nail with just a stroke or two.
Worst glass nail file I have ever owned 1
Nail Girl from Portland, OR
So, first impression: this is a VERY small file. Think half the size of a normal glass file. This can be handy for travel... if it wasn't such a terrible file. The actual "file" part is very small and performs poorly. I have never owned a glass file that filed so ineffectively. The size combined with the poor performance makes this a "no" for me. I have purchased far superior products for the same price and cheaper elsewhere.
Good 4

This was my first time trying a glass nail file. Does its job. Fits in bag.
Low quality 1
Knitter from California
The gritty finish on this file wears off very quickly with use. It is not etched glass, but a finish applied to the surface. I will not purchase again.
Not worth it... 1
Jamie the Basic Beauty Girl from Dallas, TX
Not worth the price...too thick for shorter nails...the grit wears off easily. I get more use from the basic nail files you can buy a huge pack for less than this ONE costs.
not worth the money 2
Jess from Indiana
You can get a full size glass nail file that has permanent etching for about the same price as this sprayed on, tiny, file that will not last. I'll be returning this now that I know its low quality design. Ladys, please invest in the ones that last a lifetime instead.
Great File! 5
Stoneage17 from Ohio
This nail file does its job. It works very smoothly with my nails, and doesn't seem as harsh as other files. I also also enjoyed the little case the file came in.
Very nice 5
