The file is 3 1/2" x 3/8"; the case is 4" x 5/8". This was my first crystal file and it was a great choice. It makes quick work of filing and leaves perfectly smooth edges. The compact size is comfortable to hold and very maneuverable making precise shaping easy. The case does a great of of protecting the file and stays closed even in my purse. I love the file and wouldn't hesitate to purchase another for myself or recommend to a friend.
Nail file itself works good the only thing is that since it is a glass nail file it would have been nice to have some type of silicone or rubber grip to it. Its a bit hard to file your nail when the file keeps slipping or moving between your fingers while using it. Other than that the file does a good job.

I have natural nails and a glass file is just the best thing I've found to use. Never any rough edges and much better for keeping them trimmed and neat.

The file case is on the flimsy side. When closed it feels/sounds loose and unsecured. The file itself is soft but gets the job done. Unfortunately, it feels like you're scratching chalkboard without the loud screech.

I love being able to clean it...So much better than every other file I own!

The product is small and portable which is nice, but I never truly got to use it because it sounded and felt like nails on a chalkboard which I cannot stand. The product is unusable for me personally.

the case immediately broke when i pulled the nail file out of the one end. I had to put the connecting piece back on and it's hard for the file to go inside the case - some force is needed and it kind of makes me think I'm going to break the file itself.

I really love this nail file. The only con I found is the case did crack the first time I used it, I didn't drop it or anything, just pulling the file out caused the case to crack slightly. I love that it is easy on my nails, my nails aren't breaking anymore. I always hated how emery boards would leave little gritty particles under my nails, this doesn't do that. I decided to get this after watching a video on YouTube by Simply Nailogical in which she recommended glass nail files. Overall I'm really liking this file & I'll never go back to emery boards again.

This has been my go to nail file for YEARS. I've purchased a larger size as well, but both are still going strong! Works great and lasts forever!

I'm trying to be less wasteful and this nail file has lasted me forever. The case is very cheap looking, but I bought this for the file —not the case.

love this little nail file. I ordered the bigger one a while back and love it so much I bought this one to keep in my purse. it works like a dream.
the case is a cheap plastic so I dropped 1 star.

I have owned a Nail Tek file for almost 10 years. I purchased a purse sized one and dropped it :( - so I will need to replace it. I tried to order different ones that were imitation, but they just glide back and forth without doing any real filing. There is such a difference! I do agree that the case could be improved - but the file itself is the best in my opinion.

took off most of the stars because there's literally no way I will be able to take this out of the house. the nail file seems to work but the case it comes in is the cheapest plastic someone could get. very deceiving picture as it looks like it's supposed to be a metal case. it already came apart and almost made the file get stuck inside of it. how is this supposed to be for travel when the case won't protect it and breaks after being opened 2 times???

Easily smooths nail edges.

Started watching SimplyNailogical and heard her say that she only uses glass nail files on her nails to shape them. I started looking into the benefits and was very impressed. The nail file is excellent quality and I love the ease of use! I've always HATED using regular emory boards and could never bring myself to shape my nails regularly. Now I feel like I'm taking care of my nails properly and I love it.....

Gets the job done. And its very easy to use fits very easily n hands. I have cerbral palsy in my hand & this nail file fit perfectly in my hand and wasnt over baring at all & that actually helped me out alot while doing manicures!

I use this on my fingernails mostly and occasionally on my toenails.

Love this nail file! Definitely the best one I've ever used. Love that it's travel sized and comes with its own case. The case does scratch easily, but that doesn't bother me at all.

Have used this file for years and give them as gifts

This file is the best. Very smooth for clean, perfectly shaped filing. No need for any other tool. What happened to the full sizes on Ulta though?! I need another one because I broke my big one. :(

Love how gentle this file is on my skin, and really gets the job done quickly on jagged edges of nails. I didn't like paying shop much for it, but I have had it more than a year and still seems brand new. I like the handy little case as well. I like mine so much that I'm buying some for friends.

My nails break and split easily. This file leaves a clean edge, less likely to split. It is fast!

Love the small size and great case this file comes with. Loved it so much I ended up by more for my spare purses.

This mini size works as well as the full size; the etched surface leaves my nails smooth. I do wish that the end was more tapered like the full size as the mini is just rounded. Did take off one star because the case is not up to the same quality as the file. If it had a metal case it would be just about perfect.
