Most Helpful Positive Review Best concealer ever!
I have very dark undereye circles, and have tried LOTS of products over the years. I make-up artist on a shoot introduced me to this, and at the time, I could only purchase at a dermatologist's office (who worked on scarred/burn patients). This product is AMAZING. When I have gone to make-up stores, and artists have offered to do my make-up, they are blown away by how dark my circles really are when I remove my make-up, and THEY have asked what I use. People who have seen me with and without make-up have asked me to please let them know what I use and how to hide these circles! Thats how good this product is.
Coverage is full, lasts all day, and is waterproof (!!). I cannot recommend enough to those with perma-circles (dark bluish-purple) like myself.
When using, make sure to warm up on your hand (as it is a pot concealer) and then apply sparingly. A little goes a long way! Blending is key. A pot lasts over a year so the price is a bargain.
The most important thing is to purchase the correct color - that is also the most difficult. I am olive skinned (MAC NC-40, Revlon Colorstay 300 or 310, Make-Up Forever #123, Napoleon Perdis Foundation Stick #Look 3) and use Almond Beige 1 1/4.
I would say this product and Kevin Aucoin's SX line are the best concealers I have ever used.
Most Helpful Critical Review Not that great!
I previously used the Vichy Dermablend Foundation Compact and this Dermablend Cover Crème is basically the same thing. I was hoping it'd be different, with slightly better coverage but it is not. The Cover Crème has been reformulated and ever since then, the coverage is average. I could get the same coverage from a drugstore brand. I only applied it on my acne and scarring on my cheeks and blended it out a little elsewhere. The color was a match, which is difficult for someone like me who has very pale, yellow undertoned skin. (I got it in Warm Ivory.) Anyway, I wore it to work one day and after 5 hours I looked in the mirror and was a hot mess! I applied it correctly, mind you, after exfoliation and moisturizing. It made me acne look very dry and made my pores look horrible. There were dots all over my cheeks and chin! I suppose a primer could help BUT the product is also very greasy and easily rubs off and transfers even with a great setting powder. Now, I'm not saying I hate this product, it covers well enough and like I said, I have used something similar before.. but buyer beware! This will probably not be your holy grail. The coverage is nowhere near as full as it is described to be!

Bought the foundation online. It was not a good color match. Tried to exchange in store and the line was too long and I couldn't wait. Trying to exchange online with no success or help from customer service.
The ONLY product that actually works!
Kristen from Texas
This is the ONLY product I've found after searching for years for something to cover a large dark spot on my forehead and acne scarring. Apply a light layer and let dry before the next layer if needed. Set with their white setting powder and it stays in place. It does not cake and it won't settle in fine line thank goodness. Looks good even after 12 hour shifts. The only con is I touch my face a lot and it transfers to my clothes and face mask.
No no no!
AJ from Paso Robles
It feels extremely greasy!!!! Looks very oily on skin even after applying setting powder and setting spray! Such a waste of money
It broke me out. But I do have very sensitive skin.
Brit from Mobile, Alabama
I like it match my skin tone. But something in the product broke me out. It wasn't acne. I had an allergic reaction to something in the product. This stuff is hard to wash off your face and makeup tools too.
Dee from Oklahoma
Strongly dislike this product. The initial coverage seems good, but this product feels like it never really sets or dries. It feels like a greasy layer of gunk sitting on your face. Even after using setting powder. This foundation sinks into pores and wrinkles after awhile, accentuating flaws instead of hiding them. Will definitely be returning this.

i don't think it's all that great when you follow the instructions of "warming it up". mama just put ur sponge in there and pack it on. i love the coverage, it reminds me of those kryolan paint sticks. it's especially good if you have to be on stage, or under bright lights. HOWEVER, the formula is pretty waxy and it's really an acquired taste.
I would but this product again!

I use it everyday!

I'm using this more to cover spider veins than a sunscreen. So far, seems to work pretty well.
I would buy again for coverage

this product does not deliver on its claim of 16 hours even when I follow instructions and use their setting powers. I has never lasted not even 8 hours.
Great for scars
Peaches from Illinois
I fell in September and got a bad scar on my upper lip below the now and the tip of the nose and bridge. I am an makeup enthusiast so I was determined to be able to cover for those rare occasions when not wearing a mask Using normal color correcting techniques wasn't working well. The scars still bled through. Then I remembered Dermablend and how we used many years ago for scarring on my daughter from a bad car accident. And ordered and this is working much better with and without color correcting techniques!
Love the coverage
Clemsongirl from South Carolina
I use this mainly as a concealer, but it works great to cover my blemishes.

Taking it Back
Judy from S. Carolina
Expecting it to be creamy, wasn't. Coverage only average. Settled into my lines and creases. Taking back for a refund.
Not for me
MamaShea from Virginia
The color was PERFECT! Unfortunately thats not enough for me.
The first time I applied, I repeatedly rubbed my fingertips in a swirling pattern, in order to warm the product. I then made a few lines on my face, cheeks, chin, nose & forehead, and immediately blended it in with my hands. I had to use a bit of pressure to distribute the makeup; totally roughing up my face in the process. I thought the color was fantastic; a PERFECT match, and it felt nice on my skin. It didn't cover the redness on my cheeks, and it didn't help the appearance of the fine lines around my eyes, but my setting powder can handle those issues, so no biggie! 30 minutes later, just before walking into my doctor appt, I peek in my car mirror to double check my appearance and see brown streaks; exactly where I first applied the foundation. Eventhough I was very quick to blend and eventhough I beat my face up attempting to spread the product, it left brown stains all over my face.
The following day, I removed a scoop of product and made sure it was fully warmed and almost liquid, before applying. This time, I did it in sections. As w/ the first time, it was still difficult to blend. The foundation went on easy enough, but unless you are okay w/ caked on makeup, you'll need to rub it in to blend. And again, as w/ first time, I had a brown stain again. This time, not as many, but i was also paying special attention to it. I removed an hour later and that is when I saw the dozens of bumps breaking out all over my cheeks.
I failed to notice that this is a "SPF" first, and a foundation 2nd. Any makeup with SPF causes my face to break out. This was wholly my fault. It happens with every brand I've tried that contains SPF and is not specific to Dermablend. This, coupled w/ the staining, difficulty blending, & having to warm the product, means i won't be using again.
I am still a fan of their other products, especially how exact the coloring always is!
Returned it- does not cover

Not a miracle but I'll take it ;)
Marucha from Greensboro
I have Mild melasma. I have Always wanted to try this brand. I saw Many ads claiming this would make them invisible. Maybe if I did Five applications in the area but after three, I could Still see them. Do not get me wrong, it is by far the best I have Tried to cover it with. May not be for every day use though. Only for work and special occasions.
Best Foundation I've Ever Bought
Alexandria from Wilmington, NC
This is by far my favorite foundation! I've been using it on and off for 3 years now and I just have never found anything that matches its quality. The price might seem steep, but this 1oz container will last you months of daily use!
The only downside I can bring up is that primer is a must for this. If you don't use a primer, the foundation does not blend well. I also recommend using a foundation brush instead of a beauty blender with it.
I love this!
Madi K from Utah
I love this for when I'm breaking out. It stays and looks pretty Matt. However, if you aren't familiar with creme makeup you my have to google how to use it properly.
I am Confused
Andria from Kemah, Texas
I stumbled on this product. Since turning 40 my skin is sentive to everything. Just depends on the day of the week. My confusion is with all the negative reviews. This is amazing. i csn use a little for light coverage or build. It never burns my face, and no headaches. it does take practice to use. it works amazing with my primers from Cover FX and Benefits. almost makes my forehead creases go away. i can workout in it. Run my 5 miles in it. doesnt run and stays put. buying again..
I wouldn't recommend this product, It does not coverage
Shoe from North Carolina
The product does not provide the coverage as advertised. I would not recommend, there are other products that provide better coverage. I am returning this product if possible.

I have been using Dermablend for years. I love it.

After trying the color definitely doesn't match. My tone is a light shade with slight redness. Honey color is too off to blending in evenly.
