Splat Complete Lightening Bleach Kit is quick acting and will lighten your hair 3-4 shades lighter than your current shade. Splat Lightening Bleach lightens your hair to get it ready for Splat semi-permanent bold color application, summer highlights or all over lightened hair.
Use provided gloves and keep them on throughout the bleaching process. Remove nozzle from SPLAT OXIDE bottle while pointing bottle away from face and eyes. Pour entire content of the LIGHTENING BLEACH packet into the OXIDE bottle. Make sure to cut the top of the applicator nozzle. Re-fix the nozzle tightly onto the OXIDE bottle, place finger over nozzle opening, and shake well for 1-2 minutes until the mixture becomes creamy. DO NOT leave bleach mixture contents in applicator bottle for more than 2 minutes without using-contents can build pressure and bottle may burst. Apply the mixture to dry hair immediately after the mixture is ready. Keep the bleach mixture an inch off the scalp. Make sure all hair strands are coated. Divide your hair into quarters, working with narrow sections of the hair. If your scalp is burning, rinse your hair immediately; you may be having an allergic reaction. To achieve a bright SPLAT COLOR, darker hair must first be bleached to a pale blonde. Processing time may vary. Check hair color every 10 minutes by wiping bleach mixture from a few strands of hair. If hair is not pale blonde, re-coat strands with bleach mixture and process another 10 minutes. Avoid over-processing; do not leave bleaching mixture on hair for more than 30 minutes. Once you have achieved a pale blonde hair color, rinse your hair with lukewarm water and Splat Complete Shampoo to remove all of the bleach mixture. After shampoo is rinsed out, apply Splat Deep Reconstructor generously to hair. Leave on for 20 minutes or use as an overnight treatment for best results. Then rinse thoroughly, dry and style as normal. Even if your hair has not achieved a pale blonde color, after 30 minutes of bleaching, rinse hair with lukewarm water and shampoo to remove ALL bleach mixture. If your hair is not pale blonde after maximum processing time (30 minutes), another bleach application may be needed. Be sure to wait 48 hours in between bleach applications, if hair is still dark. Immediately after using bleach mixture, remove nozzle, rinse bottle and discard.
