I love this foundation. I've been using it for 15 years. It's buildable and blendable. Sometimes I use a setting powder, but you don't have to. Holds up to the "color stay". I'm a hairstylist, and work 10 hour days. I never have to reapply. Comes off easy at night when I cleanse. Great for oil control and I love that it has spf.

I like to try all of the new, expensive foundations that come out but I always end up coming back to this cheap foundation because I like it so much better! I have combination skin and this covers my whole face— dry spots and oily spots— just the same all day long. I don't have perfect skin, but I don't need to use concealer with this product... I just build it up a little more where have a blemish and it covers it perfectly. I wear this every day and even on days when I work two jobs from 5am to 11 pm, it looks great all day and night with no touch-ups!

Long wearing. Get a bit oily after the 5 hour mark. But when I blot only my oils come off and not the foundation. After the 6 hour mark it did set into my pores. Going to try it with a pore filling primer. Also at the end of the day you can feel it on your face once your oils come out.

I've been searching and searching to find a "holy grail" foundation, and this is it for me. I never expected it to be a drugstore brand, but I'm so glad it is. This stuff blends so easily, melts into my skin, and looks GORGEOUS after application. It sets down beautifully, and lasts almost all day. I have some acne/acne scarring, and with one layer of this, I get good medium coverage. Plus, if I want more coverage in areas where my acne scarring is, I can layer it on and it looks beautiful without looking heavy or cakey. Sometimes I forget I'm wearing this foundation!! I can't say enough good things about this foundation. Revlon, I applaud you!

Comments about Revlon ColorStay Makeup For Combo/Oily Skin:

I've heard such great things about this foundation and decided to try it since I'm searching for a cheaper alternative to Born This Way by Too Faced. I really like the way this foundation smells and the medium buildable coverage. It also doesn't oxidize like a lot of drug store foundations do on me. The only thing that bothers me about this foundation is that it really makes my pores stand out, but I feel if I find a good primer that will make a difference. Overall 4 stars!

After running out of my $40 foundation, I decided to give some drugstore foundations a try. I used this foundation for two weeks and the first few days, it looked great.. but eventually it became more difficult to blend and did not stay on very well. I have oily skin, especially in my Tzone, and by the end of the day it was completely gone in those areas. It also settles into any lines, a 19 year old with smile lines isn't very appealing!

I have oily acne prone skin. It's medium coverage. It is matte for sure. My issue is it exaggerates every skin imperfections that I have. Settles into pores, hangs to dry patches. It doesn't stay on my tzone too. When you try to fix any part that faded it gets super cakey I had to reapply my makeup few times because its hard to touch up.

Either ColorStay Makeup Combination/Oily or Normal/Dry Skin would suitable. If you have both combination and dry areas, our recommendation would be to use the formula based on which area concerns you the most.

In the ColorStay Makeup Combination/Oily Skin formula, the next darkest shades are Nude and Natural Beige respectively, so I would suggest those! You can also visit your local Ulta Store and test them out to see what shade is the best match for you!

Revlon ColorStay Foundation contains a new time-release technology that keeps skin balanced for a fresh appearance all day. The ultra-lightweight formula is non-comedogenic and because of its buildable coverage, it allows you to create the coverage you need. I would also suggest using the ColorStay Pressed Powder on t-zone. A great primer to use is the PhotoReady Anti Shine Balm to erase pores: https://www.ulta.com/photoready-primer-anti-shine-balm?productId=xlsImpprod11611023

Hi! The shade order will be changed so that they are in order by shade numbers for clarification. Generally, the higher the number, the deeper the shade, but some will have warmer or cooler tones. I think 200, 220, or 240 could work for you depending on how deep you need. I would suggest going to your local Ulta store as there are testers for all shades so you can find the best match!

This foundation is buildable to full coverage. If you want a lighter coverage, just use 1 layer, if you want more coverage, you can keep building onto it to achieve your desired look!
