How to Use

I was BEYOND shocked at some of the reviews on here compared to my experience.
I originally wanted something to replace the Redken Color Magnetics Shampoo and Conditioner (or whichever one is in the pink bottle). I looked this up since ULTA was having their jumbo sale at the time and was hesitant to try this one because of the reviews. For whatever reason though, I decided to go with this. I took a chance and let me tell you I don't regret this purchase one bit.
I have seen a MAJOR difference in my hair. Specifically in terms of breakage and how shinny it is. I have very dark, pitch black colored hair. I get so many compliments on how healthy and shiny it looks since I've started using it. For reference, it had been a year since I got my hair cut and my coworker always asked if I had gotten one whenever my hair was worn down. That is how healthy this shampoo has made my ends.
As far as the color protection goes I couldn't be happier, my hair hasn't faded in the slightest and it's been about six months. I will mention I only wash once a week which may stall the fading process but regardless I am beyond happy. I always felt as if Redken stripped the color from my hair.
I don't get any greasy hair issues. My hair isn't weighted down. I get quite the opposite and find my hair has good volume once dried! Perhaps my hair type is just meant for this formula. I suppose it's just a bummer to me that people didn't have the same awesome experience that this product gave me :(
10/10 this is hands down my new fave shampoo and conditioner duo.
I rarely write reviews. With that being said I wanted to come here and write my opinion on this product that I was not 100% happy with . To begin with my hair is not oily what so ever I have shoulder length hair my hair is thick , if your wondering my hair type. With this shampoo and conditioner I had to wash my hair every other day I would wash it every day if I could with this shampoo and conditioner if I had the time because this shampoo and conditioner made my hair so oily not only did it make it oily but it made my hair feel as if I had put a lot of chemicals and just didn't feel clean left so much residue. I did love the smell of it and for the price I knew I had to use it all up , wasn't about to throw my money away. I did try this shampoo and conditioner for 3 and a half months , with haircolor treatment. As for it protecting my hair color within the 4th ,5th wash my hair color had faded . With other shampoos and conditioners I was able to even go 3 days with out washing my hair and my hair barley being oily by the 3rd day. I will not be buying this product again.

Sulfate free and it is amazing what this has done for my hair. It gets my hair thoroughly clean and doesn't leave it with a film. It helps to maintain color, lessened my frizz, and smells so great. Also, I was so shocked that my hair held curls after using this. I couldn't be happier with this product

I already purchased another jumbo!

This is really similar to the Redken version. I washed my hair in cold water with this and it didn't strip my color at all

I love how it made my thick hair smooth & soft

Will be returning my jumbo's I just bought. I got this shampoo thinking it would be an awesome alternative to my current since my friends seemed to like the brand. Boy was I wrong, it made my hair so weighed down and greasy feeling. It feels almost like there's residue left in my hair... and besides that, it felt very hay like while washing my hair with this stuff oddly enough. Will be trying another brand.

I've used this for years and I won't use any other brand on my hair. Love this stuff

Like many other reviews on here, this shampoo and conditioner left my hair feeling greasy and unclean no matter how much I rinsed it out.

I was recommended this brand of shampoo by my hair stylist since I barely dyed my hair and I wanted to maintain the color. I did not like it. I would not buy this product again. It made my hair really oily making me wash my hair every other day. My hair used to be not oily but with this shampoo it made it really oily!

Love Joico products

I have salon color-treated hair, to tame the gray. Upon a recommendation I tried Joico's K-Pak Color Therapy shampoo, which I liked well enough. Until I decided to try Joico's Color Endure shampoo. What a difference!! Although the lack of sulfates resulted in less suds, my hair felt AMAZING afterwards! It was clean and healthy and moisturized. Used together with Joico's Color Endure conditioner, my 'fly-aways' are gone and I have soft, shiny hair. Love these products!

Love this! Has helped to keep the tone of my lightened hair! Also leaves your hair feeling super soft (along with the conditioner) and clean!! Smells yummy too!
The people saying it leaves your hair feeling greasy, seem to not know how to use sulfate free, professional product. No, it will not lather like drug store product. Your hair NEEDS to be dripping wet when you apply the shampoo for it to distribute correctly throughout your hair.

so this shampoo doesn't have sulfate in it so it doesn't lather like a traditional shampoo does. i'm used to sulfate free shampoos/hair care because i color treat my hair. it smells good and cleans my hair without stripping it. i use a scalp treatment before to get the gunk off my scalp. but highly recommend for those with color treated hair.

My hair stylist recommended me this product after bleaching my hair. I have been using this product for over a month now and never has my hair felt clean. After washing my hair, it feels heavy, greasy and looks dirty. I do not recommend this product.

I was so upset with this product for a long time I thought I wasn't washing it off right when the whole time it was this product

I'm have blonde baby lights and I wash my hair maybe two or three times a week. This shampoo gets rid of the crusty dandruff and cleans my hair really good. You do have to scrub your scalp in order to get the flakes out. I didn't give it five stars because it does dry up the hair a tad bit if you don't use the conditioner.

I bought this product because it was recommended, every time i used ti my hair felt oily at the top, so i thought i didnt rinse out very good. But every time it did it, like it left residue on my hair, my hair did not feel soft, it felt not clean, it smells great, but i will never use or recommend it

This shampoo is awesome! I have red dyed hair and ot can be hard to maintain. This shampoo is gentle and helps my color last much longer. It is also super moisturizing on it's own even without using the conditioner. I have never had such a good experience with a shampoo.

I started using this product when I started getting my hair done in vivid colors. It helped keep my hair healthy and vibrant. I noticed the colors stayed stronger longer when using the shampoo.

I asked my stylist what shampoo she used on me so I took her recommendation and purchased the shampoo and condition. Let me preface my comments that I have used sulfate-free shampoo for several years... but all I can say is ICK ! After two days my hair and scalp feel completely disgusting like I didn't wash my hair. I am even considering washing my scalp tonight with dawn dish soap to get whatever is on my hair off. Terrible Terrible Terrible shampoo.

I use this I the shower. I did not buy the conditioner which makes me think that I should have because ut makes my hair feel sticky and super knotty.

I see a lot of people saying it doesn't clean their hair. This is a sulfate-free product, so no, it does not lather well. You have to put in the work to SCRUB your scalp because it does not have the bad chemicals in it to strip your hair. It will clean it. This product literally changed my hair for the better. I have super wavy hair, and because of the texture, I never thought my hair could feel the way that it does now. I thought my hair would always be dry and frizzy, but this product over time has transformed my hair into healthy and soft. I love it, but give it time. It takes your hair time to adjust to new products, I promise it will be worth it. It totally transformed my hair for the better and I LOVE it.

This product was recommended to me by my hair stylist. I have processed hair that has been damaged from blonding, so she recommended this sulfate free shampoo to protect my color. This shampoo left my hair so greasy and heavy it didn't even look like I washed it! I tried it multiple times and made sure to thoroughly rinse, but each time it looked just as greasy and left so much residue. I can go several days without washing and dry shampoo will do the trick, but if I was going to continue with this shampoo I would need to wash every day, which I feel defeats the purpose.

Biolage Colorlast is my go-to shampoo and conditioner, but I like to alternate with a second brand because I feel like it keeps my hair healthier. I purchased Joico Color Endure and was disappointed. Not only did it leave my hair feeling heavy and dry, it left a chalky film on my hands and a rash on my skin that burned slightly. This was the only new product I added to my shower routine that day, so I know it was the cause of my skin irritation. After towel drying my hair, it was very difficult to comb through and not nearly as soft as it usually is. I'll be returning this shampoo and conditioner.

I have been using this shampoo for longer than I can remember. I have tried different types along the way, however I always come back to this. It does have a learning curve because it does not have sulfates, so it doesn't lather. Start with a smallish amount and if you don't feel it's giving you the coverage to wash your hair, then add more. Once you get the right amount for your hair then your good to go (as far as the washing). When rinsing, it does take a little more effort to make sure you get it all out, so rinse well. I find running my fingers through while rinsing does the trick.

I bought this on accident! I meant to get the "deft damage" line. Anywho, I figured I'd give it a go. After only one wash my roots were greasy, and my head was itchy. I returned it the next day.
