Comments about Red Carpet Manicure Color Dip Starter Kit:

I've had acrylics for 10+ years and finally decided it's not worth the money anymore. I've since been missing having nice nails but could not get them to grow out before breaking. I found this after some research and gave it a try. It's only been a week or so, but so far it is great! I like the light pink color it comes with and I've received compliments. I did about 3 layers to get the color I liked.

Comments about Red Carpet Manicure Color Dip Starter Kit:

The Instructions that were provided don't give clear directions. I had to watch a youtube video to get a real understanding of how to apply. Very Hard To Remove, only do one nail at a time, since the base coat dries quickly and don't get it on your skin because it's super hard to get off.

Love this product. Would recommend watching a YouTube video before doing if you've never done it before. I also used an old makeup brush to dust the extra off. I also use a regular nail file instead of the buffer that comes with it. So far it's lasted a week without chipping or peeling.

Comments about Red Carpet Manicure Color Dip Starter Kit:

So I love this so much!! I get so many compliments and it lasts for weeks! It also makes you're nails super strong and so I can grow them out without worrying about my nails breaking, which is great! Everyone thinks I do them myself! It took me one time to figure it out but after taht super easy. The only thing I don't like is the top coat is not super shiny and it really stick, also make sure and be careful about the base coat because it didn't like to come off apply it in thin layers. I use a separate top coat AFTER I use the top coat it comes with. It is a challenge to remove after a week but after a couple weeks it gets easier. Great product and I wear it constantly, I've completely quit my normal polish and gels.

        Really like this

Comments about Red Carpet Manicure Color Dip Starter Kit:

I really like using the powder. I bought the kit in store which was a holiday kit so it came with red and gold but I also bought the purple. Red and purple came out great (haven't tried the gold). I suck at painting nails so this was a lot easier to be. My only complaint is that sometime my nails will be really shiny from the top coat but other times it's dull in some area and I don't know why. I feel like I'm putting top coat on evenly but some parts still look dull. That's my only complaint and that it can be messy. To me it was easy to use especially if you watch a couple YouTube tutorials first so you know what to expect

Comments about Red Carpet Manicure Color Dip Starter Kit:

I was looking for something to replace going to the nail salon for SNS, I work in healthcare and am only allowed to wear SNS since it doesn't chip. This product is no where near as good as SNS. I did an ok job applying it however it is a little messy and has a VERY strong odor. This product is basically acrylic liquid with colored powder, it comes off like a sticky melted plastic substance and can clop together if not applied a certain way. If you are looking for something cheap that will look decent for a night or two this is your product but if you want it to last more than a week, look elsewhere.

I've had several compliments on my nails. Base coat smells horrible & will make your eyes water. Don't get base coat anywhere on your skin. Also you can use the dip powder from slick pour!!

It's basically glue and acrylic powder

Comments about Red Carpet Manicure Color Dip Starter Kit:

I'm not a fan. It's basically super glue and acrylic powder. It's hard to get an even coat and not spend 20 minutes buffing. I know it breaks down to $2 a manicure but it doesn't look that great. I'm gonna go back to getting my nails done professionally.

Comments about Red Carpet Manicure Color Dip Starter Kit:

I used this product religiously. I wanted to love it with all my heart, and for a short period of time, I did. My nails looked amazing (!) at my company's holiday party, and I got compliments on them constantly. All of my friends and family thought I went to a salon to have them done, and were in shock any time I told them I did them myself. While on, the product is great. It's a little difficult to get the technique down to have the entire nail evenly covered, but once you get that down - it's great. Never chips, looks amazing, and lasts forever.
Now... where I began my dislike: it's impossible to take off. I tried the foils quite a few times. Those were a joke. I'd always end up just filling the bottom of a Tupperware bowl with nail polish remover and soaking my fingers in there while watching a show on tv. That usually did the trick.

Where my genuine hatred came from that resulted in me throwing out every item I owned from this product: the last time I removed it from my nails, my nails were so incredibly damaged (likely from the asinine removal process) that I had bruises beneath my nail in the nail beds and cracks running from the edge of my nails up to my cuticles. Before the nail finally gave in and broke, I had a spot on my index finger that the nail was so fragile and bruised, it hurt to the touch. I couldn't even scratch myself if I itched because of the fragility of my nails.

I usually don't write reviews, I really don't. This will be my second review in my 28 years of life. But I was genuinely outraged by what I experienced, and honestly had forgotten about it - this whole ordeal happened about 3 weeks ago - until about ten minutes ago when I finally gave in and cut all of my fingernails back because I am so fed up with them breaking or flaking at the edges every 5 minutes.

All I hope for is that this review might make some ladies think twice before purchasing and experiencing what I have — at least until they figure it out with their formula
