Base coat hardens

Pros

    Cons

    • Hard To Remove

Comments about Red Carpet Manicure Color Dip Base Coat:

I wish I could return just the base coat. It makes the lid seal shut and then it just clumps on the brush and you can't use it so mad.

I will say during the first use it worked. But never since then

Great system with a learning curve

      By HBS

Comments about Red Carpet Manicure Color Dip Base Coat:

Yes, the bottle does dry up and harden if you leave it open and don't wipe off the neck. If it does dry shut just use a pair of pliers to twist it open. Get the brush softener if you find your brush hardening after contact with the activator. The system is awesome and makes really hard acrylic nails easy.

Comments about Red Carpet Manicure Color Dip Base Coat:

It's prwrtyy much super glue in a bottle. Don't get it on your skin at all or it feels awful. Also being superglue after the first use the bottle essentially glued itself shut... had to use a wrench to help me open it the second time and by the third time I went to use it just a month later I had to break the top to get it off and then everything inside (there was a lot left!) was all hardened into this awful paste and couldn't even use it! So sad because I LOVED my results the first time I used this set.

This works well, but it is a bit difficult to apply until you get the hang of it. Also it hardens up quickly so the brush softener is a must
