Comments about Fake Bake Coconut Tanning Serum:

I LOVE the color this creates. Its a red tint, not orange, and appears instantly with little to no odor. However, i've had issues with residue coming off on my sheets and clothes more than any other tanner. I dont think it last long either. I apply at least twice a week just to keep the consistency.

Comments about Fake Bake Coconut Tanning Serum:

Bought this on a whim because the label said it was an award winner. My sister has always liked fake bake so I thought, what the heck i'll Give it a try. This has a great smell while applying and afterward. Goes on smooth and even as long as you really rub it in. However, like all other fake tanners I've tried, the usual smell does end up surfacing after a few hours. The color was great! I applied at night before bed and showered 7 hours later. I only applied to my legs due to my upper body being pretty tan now. I want to wear dresses and skirts to work now that it's summer and this did the trick. I'm currently on day 6 after application and it's just starting to fade and evenly. I typically use St. Tropez original mousse and the coconut fake bake does have a richer color and better smell. However, it did take a little longer to dry than the St. Tropez and did not feel as light once applied. But for the price difference in the two, I will stick with the fake bake!

Comments about Fake Bake Coconut Tanning Serum:

Surprised this has so many good reviews. I'm a self tanning self proclaimed expert, as I've tried every single one out there. This one? thought it was going to be great. Easy application, great color guide, not at all drying. No smell. All good right? I went to bed an hour after it dried, woke up to nothing. Zippo. Zilch. Tried again. Same thing. I'm no beginner at self tanning so I certainly did everything right. HONESTLY 0 color. So back it goes. Going back to what I know works, and for a 1/4 of the price. Love fake bake, but this one was a big disappointment.

Comments about Fake Bake Coconut Tanning Serum:

First off I am both a budget and brand buyer. I have used vita liberty pHenomenal, eco tan, chocolate sun, and then have also used the brand NKD skin. I bought this on a whim, to try a new product, and on the way home from ulta was reading reviews and was going to return it without even trying cos I was nervous, I SM SO GLAD I DIDNT!! The color does have a reddish tint, but on my skin tone, this is the closest color I've come to looking natural. I've had it for about 3 weeks, and used it twice within a few days and I still have a nice warm tone to my skin. I am very happy I tried this and will definitely buy again without hesitation. But please wash your hands halfway through application or use gloves provided bcos it dries quickly. Didtreally notice any odor at all.

Comments about Fake Bake Coconut Tanning Serum:

Went on so well and the tan was even. I used the gloves for the body and a mitt for the backs of hands and tops of feet. I'd consider myself a sunless tanning pro and this looked realistic as far as application went....however, the tan itself was far too orange for me. Was really hoping for a smooth glide version of the Flawless Darker. :( This was sooooo good as far as evening tone, not clogging pores, and moisturizing. I wish the color weren't so odd. It may work well for most, but I need the olive Tones.

Comments about Fake Bake Coconut Tanning Serum:

I'm a very pale girl with pink undertones to my skin. The liquid is dark brownish red. It's difficult to apply because it dries so fast and is not moisturizing to the skin. I applied it using the gloves provided and a tanning mitt and neither really helped me put it on. Applying to my back was especially difficult because of the consistency. Maybe mixing the serum with an oil or moisturizer would help. The tan looks natural and it lasts at least a week on me. It recommends wearing overnight for a deeper tan, but it can come off on light colored clothes and sheets. The serum has no initial odor, but has that sunless tanner smell later on. This tanner was fine to try, but overall is not right for me.

Comments about Fake Bake Coconut Tanning Serum:

I was excited to try this since I LOVE the Fake Bake Flawless spray. The serum however was very hard to apply and blend. It didn't seem to last as long either. It left my skin feeling very sticky afterwards. I find the spray much easier to apply and cheaper.
