I have super dry areas under my cheek bones. If I don't moisturize correctly I end up with what looks like eczema on my face. But! I also have massive oil zones at either side of my chin. If I add too much moisturize it can cause a full break out. It's the trouble life of "if I over hydrate I break out, if I under moisturize I dry up!" It's quite the battle with my face. This cream however, has changed the whole dynamic of my skincare routine! Within the first 3-5 days my dry spots were nonexistent. I've been using it over a month now and have not had one blemish on my chin. It's like I finally have the best the for both worlds. Now, I am typically a very frugal shopper, which is probably why I have this problem for so long, but I don't mind paying full price for this gem. But, I have found a lot of sales between the stores and the website, so I stock up when the price is low. If this one left my face as soft - overall - as it does in the first 5 minutes, it would be a contender for my No.7 Hydraluminous Water Surge Gel Cream. Sadly, it doesn't and it just falls flat. However, if you have normal skin (not dry) and you already have pretty smooth skin, this might be an okay moisturizer. Otherwise, I'd look for a more moisturizing one (seriously, though... any other dry gals... give the No.7 one a try. Holy cow, that stuff leaves my face baby-smooth!
