Most Helpful Positive Review Great for oily skin
The best skin type for this product is oily. I have now been using this for quite some time and by that I mean years, so I have no doubts about it. When applying this, allow it to dry because you can see some shininess right afterwards. But, that shiny look goes away to leave a definitely better appearance that includes no oil, no greasy feeling whatsoever on the skin. I have even worn this over my BB cream with a great effect. I don't think this works for any makeup, especially ones that have oil in them. This product is very light on the skin and does seem to shrink the appearance of large pores. I have no problems with this product, even the price is great.
Most Helpful Critical Review Worst thing ever for acne prone skin
Knowing that I have partially dry, acne and scar prone skin I have to be really careful when it comes to any product.
My usual sunscreen is a bit pricey and I've been trying to save money at that time. When I came across this at the drugstore it stood out like a golden ticket because of the label that read BREAK-OUT FREE.
Well, THAT WAS A LIE!
Let me tell you how awful this product really is.
I'm the type of person who uses products sparingly--pea-sized drop with each use.
It comes out as a liquid form and first feels light, but the minute it touches your face, it's greasy and heavy. It takes a very long time to dry.
So imagine a hot day when you are sweating and your face feels extra greasy. I never breakout from sweating alone nor with other sunscreens. I didn't suspect it was this product because I truly believed it was a break-out free product. I didn't notice the breakout immediately. After a week-long daily use of this product, I stood in front of the mirror and noticed my acne was so inflamed and red.
I got so depressed that I stayed indoors for a few days, which means I didn't need the sunscreen. I started noticing my inflammation going down drastically. That's when I realized it was the sunscreen!
I wasn't able to return it so it's now just being used for my arms and legs.
Also this sunscreen smells as strong as the ones you apply on your body, I was able to get whiffs of it in my mouth to the point where I was tasting it while it was being used. DON'T BUY THIS!! SERIOUSLY, I NEVER FELT THIS HATEFUL ABOUT A PRODUCT!

My skin isn't normally sensitive but this product made my forehead itch so badly and then within 2 days I had clogged pores. I have tried this on 2 separate occasions. Once while I was on the beach and then 2 days ago for work. And both times my face broke out and itches.
Light and Protective

Feels like a moisturizer, protection of a sunblock. My mom and I both use it and have different skin types, yet neither of us breakout. Great!!

So I love the way this makes my skin feel when it dries. But sometimes it makes my skin burn and it always seems to get in my eyes and makes them burn like crazy! I used Aveeno before this and I never had that problem.

this sunscreen burned my face so badly. dont use if you have sensitive skinn
Plays well with SOME products
Nina from Florida
Pros— not heavy. Didn't break me out. Not greasy.
Cons— as MANY sunscreens are, it's drying once they set. Pills with CERTAIN moisturizers (I had to experiment.)
Celeste from Philadelphia,Pa
Once I put on my skin it's started looking like my skin was peeling. I made sure to not put lotion and it still did the same thing. Regret buying, will return it
Didn't play nice
Jessica from Lanham, MD
I wanted to like this sunscreen so bad. But it didn't play well with my toner and serums. Something in this product reacted with them, making this sunscreen ball pill up while I attempted to rub into my screen. I even tried patting it into my skin but this just made it worse during the day it would come off if I touched my face at all making it look like I had a skin condition. Forget trying to put makeup over this. After a few hours even with a primer over top it would start to make your makeup look super caked where ever you have texture from pores or scars, plus burned more then I'm comfortable with when first applied. It's going back.

Not really good for me.
Best sunblock for my face
Outdoorsy Girl from Marietta, GA
I use alone on face and neck before I get exposed to sun at pool or exercising outside. I will also use under a liquid foundation with SPF for an extra layer of protection if I know I am going to be outdoors.
One of Only 3 Products I Use
Becca from Raleigh, NC
This is one of only three products I use, one being another Neutrogena product. The formula is light and protect your skin from the sun without clogging your pores. I have worn the stuff all day and the next day my skin looked and felt great.
Tan biscuit from New Haven, CT
This sunscreen is great in the sense that it's lightweight and doesn't leave a white cast. However, this product stung when it was applied. Thought it would go away after my skin was used to it wearing it a couple days but no. It only made my skin red and splotchy. Had to return it.
I'd rather be wrinkly
craig from mississippi
This is the absolute worst sunscreen I have ever used. It peels or flakes off during the day if you touch any areas in which it was applied. It leaves white residue and gives the face a grayish tint. Made me look like michael jackson w/ leprosy. Don't buy.

I used this in Mexico - it never broke me out, is keeping my face from peeling
rorypaige from Redding, CA
This sunscreen rubs in easily and hasn't given me any pimples. It also makes your skin look nice and not white or patchy like some other sunscreens do.
My face thanks you

I have rosacea and most sunscreen burn in my affected area. I go the pool daily and workout. This products does not go into my eyes. It protects my face from the sun. Love it
Lindsay from Tennessee
This is the worst facial sunscreen I've used. It makes my face sting so bad to the point it's feel prickly and almost numb. And heaven forbid you rinse it off and some gets in your eyes, they'll be bloodshot and irritated. Throwing the tube away cause I wouldn't even donate it
Very light, water weight lotion.

I have combination skin. This light lotion is perfect to my oily nose area. Not greasy at all. I just put foundation powder or setting powder after it. Perfect for daily use.
Steph from Chicago, IL
The projects prescribed to me by my dermatologist dry out my skin and I couldn't find a moisturizer hydrating enough that did not break me out. I started using this product to protect my skin from the sun as well as help with dryness, and it worked! I'm glad I tried this product!

Is light and absorb really quickly! No grease it sticky feeling. I been using it for 2 years now.
I will be buying again
Kiwiash from Victorville, CA
I use this everyday because I use acne products that require sun protection. I haven't broke out from it and I'm usually very breakout prone. It rubs in nicely and is fine under make up. It's also a very great price. I will definitely be purchasing again.
Super Sunblock for Sensitive Skin
Freckles from Marietta, GA
I use this daily to protect my fair, sensitive skin from the sun. It works well without being greasy and does not cause my skin to break out.
prittyspeshul from Los Angeles, CA
I have bad luck with sunscreen. I can't use the facial moisturizers that include them, because they turn my combination skin into an oil slick, and regular sunscreen just makes my face itchy. But SPF is required, especially when you live in LA, so enter this product. I love that it's relatively inexpensive, especially compared to other sunscreens designed for the face. I use it after moisturizer in the morning, and while it does tend to add a little shine to my skin immediately after application, I find that it actually curbs the glaze for the rest of the day. I do have to shake the bottle to ensure the consistency is correct, because it does tend to settle. About the size of a quarter is more than enough for my whole face, and it rubs in well. I've been using it daily (well, as often as I remember) for about two weeks and I haven't noticed any increase in breakouts or even sensitivity or redness. Highly recommend.
Beach Bum from Boise
Great product. Used it while in Maui, it protected my face great.
Caused the pain of 1000 bee stings
Elena from Cincinnati
I bought this sunscreen for a trip to Mexico. On my first day, within an hour of applying my face began stinging. The pain was so bad I had to go inside and wash it off. The stinging did not subside until the next day. The reason for this was the avenzobone in the sunscreen, known for being commonly irritating. If you have used avenzobone products before, you may not have a problem with it. But be careful
I love this product
Linda from Bergen County, NJ
This product feels good and natural all day. It protects well against sunburn.
