Most Helpful Positive Review A total win
I have sensitive, oily acne prone skin & was looking for a cream cleanser. I'd been using Cetaphil but it didn't improve or minimize my skin issues & was starting to dry out my skin. So, I was looking for something that was milky/creamy, insanely gentle & didn't have a lot of added yuck that would make my skin scream. I've been really pleased so far with this cleanser. I love the milky form factor, and I REALLY love that it doesn't lather. The oils make it feel like lotion, so when you rinse it off, you still feel a bit slippy. I like that, though, because it means I'm not stripping my skin. If you're used to your skin being "squeaky clean" after washing, you'll have to readjust your expectations here. Even though it's a moisturizing cleanser, my oily skin hasn't overreacted to it. I had broken out just before I started using this product (due to hormones + a bad reaction to an Olay night moisturizer). After about 3 days of using this product 2x daily, my breakouts started clearing up. I've been using it for over a week now, and I haven't broken out again. The product says it removes makeup, but I don't rely on this product for that. Instead, I use Dermalogica's Precleanse, and then let the Cleansing Milk get anything I've missed. With makeup being waterproof or water-resistant by default, I have a hard time believing this product can remove all that by itself. Price-wise, it's a little spendy, but it's definitely a lot more affordable than everything else I've tried (that wasn't a drug-store buy). Overall, this is the best cleanser I've tried yet for my temperamental skin.

I was so disappointed! The salesgirl was raving about juice beauty & how great this cleanser was. I tried for the first time today & almost immediately my face felt like it was burning & turned red like a tomato. Ulta was great & let me return for a full refund without box or receipt. They were able to look up the purchase with my rewards card. I had to keep a cool compress on for an hour & then slathered on aquaphor for several hours. I don't know what ingredient did it but something definitely didn't agree with me.

Let me start by saying I love the nutrient moisturizer by juice. I use it daily. I thought I would replace my current face wash with something a little more friendly so I turned to the juice line. this was a bad idea for me. this cleansing milk caused me to break out in ways I haven't before. I used to get cystic acne before I found my correct routine, so I was completely surprised when this caused tiny little white pimples all over my cheeks and chin. never again.

It worked nicely with my dry skin! I loved it, but it's too pricey! Ugh

I really enjoy this product line. The natural ingredients are great and the cleanser works well.
Face Ref and Puffy after Using
Ashley from Florida
The first two days I thought this product was amazing. On day 3, my face turned puffy and red after I washed it. I am returning this product.
Beware if you have dry, dehydrated skin!!
Elena from Co
Horrible. I used it for 3 weeks. My skin started drying out and i didnt make the connection to this cleanser untill it was too late. I know have fine lines where i didnt before and dry crepy skin on my forehead where i didnt have before. I wish i had never bought it. Its very drying and does not remove make up. I usually never leave reviews but i have to about this one. Now i hope i can reverse the damage i have done to my skin. Do not buy.
Those ingredients hmm
kupocygirl from Albion
I'm all up for organic products but that actually do work and that doesn't have ingredients that could potentially give a reaction is a no. Something here made me get itchy on my face in certain spots and theres a weird slight oil like scent to it. I can't use this anymore! btw I used this like 5 times and I started to get that reaction.
Like Cleansing Your Face With Free Hotel Lotion
Sara284 from Idaho
Got this as a sample in one of my purchases and was excited to try the brand. It doesn't cleanse your face or take off your makeup, and leaves a heavy residue. I used my toner directly after and the cotton pad was covered in my makeup this didn't take off. I'm all for gentle cleansing solutions, but this does nothing. Just smears your makeup around your face. Note: I tried this product several times to make sure to give it a good college try before reviewing.
Did Nothing For Me
Ty from Washington, DC
Similar to other reviews, this face wash left my skin red and blotchy after every use. I've never been a person to have lots of acne but I have had a little more than usual over the past two weeks that I have been using this product.

I've never put anything on my face that burned as much as this does. Y face was throbbing afterwards. Usually I'll give something at least a couple of tries, but this is going straight back. My face is flaming and beet red.
Great for dry skin
Tori from New York
One of my top 2 favorite cleansers along with Origins checks and balances. Great for dry skin as it cleans without over drying. This bottle has lasted me so long it's totally worth the price. I also like the pump for easy use of the product.
Exactly what I needed!
AJ from Rochester, N.Y
I needed a new daily cleansing routine because of some new aweful adult acne that popped up in January and got progressively worse. Paired this with iT cosmetics moisturizer daily and Juice Beauty exfoliator cleanser periodically. Huge improvements in a week!
My New Fav!
KyleR from Holland, MI
I love the way this face cleanser leaves my skin feeling. I use it after my makeup remover wipes to get any left behind makeup and also as a cleanser when I wake up and before bed. Doesn't dry you out. Subtle, yet pleasant smell. I loved it so much I bought 2. One for the shower and one for the vanity!
Love the smell and that it leaves skin feeling soft!

I use this at night and in the morning. Already noticing a difference in my skin.
GREAT MORNING CLEANSER
CLEANSER JUNKIE from San Jose
If you do your heavier cleansing and skincare at night, it's best to GENTLY cleanse in the morning otherwise you're stripping off all the moisture and "good" oil. This one is perfect! However if you get oily during the day, this isn't the cleanser for you. It doesn't lather, it feels more like a silky moisturizer texture on the skin. I have dry skin and I use a hydrating overnight cream. If I use a strong cleanser in the morning it completely reverses all the work my nightcream did.
I like to wet my finger tips first and massage onto dry skin. After, I'll add more water onto my face and continue to massage. It breaks down my gel liner but not my foundation, so I don't recommend this for full makeup removing. Nor do I recommend this to wash off dirt and oil at the end of the day. It's too gentle.
does not remove makeup
k from Madison wi
This didn't even remove a drop my foundation. I washed my face thoroughly and still had a face full of wet makeup. I didn't trust it to wash my bare skin. I understand not all cleansers are meant to remove makeup, but they advertise that it can and that clearly isn't true.
KNOW YOUR SKIN
Nik from California
I'm in my mid-twenties, have OILY, sensitive, ance-prone skin. I use an acne wash at night with an AHA/ BHA toner. I use this in the morning and at night for a double cleanse before i use Juice Beauty's blemish cleanser. This stuff is SO hydrating. Look at the ingredients - the first 3 chemicals listed are grape seed oil, aloe, and glycerin. Which are so nice for inflamed and dehydrated skin.
If you're looking for something that really breaks down make-up this isn't it. I take a full beat face off with the make up eraser (so most if not all) of it should already be off. Look for their oil cleanser if you're looking for that type of pre-cleanse. I use this a DOUBLE cleanse at night - not a pre.
In addition, I see a lot of reviews saying their skin reacted from burning. This is yes a 'clean' product bu tlook at the ingredients... the ph of this product is almost neutral yes but has a lot of acids including vitamin c which can be irriating to some. Reservatrol is also a powerfully high antioxidant and can cause skin irriation for some whose skin has no tolerance to high potency ingredients and acids. I love this stuff and think it works great.
Side note, it leaves an almost hydrated barrier after washing which is really nice. But if that texture sound bothers you you won't like it
Love Juice Beauty just not this cleanser
Lindsey from Tampa
Overall, I found this product lacking in its ability to remove most makeup, irritating to my skin and poor cleaning in general. If your looking for a better alternative try Juice beauty's other 2 anti-aging cleaners (green apple or stem cellular lines)For the most part they're great. Facts: age 37, combination skin, light med. complex, not sensitive to products, skin issues are uneven skin tone with dark spots and slight aging.

Just tried this out and really like it! Gets rid of oil.
Hot red face
Paige from Charlotte, NC
I bought the travel kit and loved this cleanser the first several times I used it - so I bought the full sized bottle.. now every time I use it, my face turns bright red and and gets really hot like a burn. It goes away after about 20 mins but it's incredibly strange and uncomfortable for those 20 minutes. I'll stick with the exfoliating cleanser instead.
Love this product for the most part!
Lauren from ARLINGTON, TX
For the most part, I LOVE this product. I have super dry flaky skin and this product has helped tremendously. The product looks like a lotion but once you splash your face with water and add this product it's suoer smooth and feels and smells amazing! The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it does leave my face tingly and red but it doesn't bother be that much because it goes away after about 20 minutes!
I Use This Cleanser Every Morning
mrs_g208 from USA
I use this cleanser and a washcloth to wash my face every morning. I use a different, stronger cleanser to wash my face before bed, but this Cleansing Milk works great for washing away any buildup that they have occurred while I was sleeping as well as combating the dryness that my nighttime cleanser sometimes causes. I will say that the packaging is not the best, as it's virtually impossible to use the pump once it gets down to about 1/8 left. :(
Great for dry skin!
Honey bunz from Providence, RI
I really needed a cleanser while I was waiting for my normal oil cleanser to be delivered. My skin is really dry, so I'm always afraid to give something new a try, but I love other Juice beauty products and thought I'd take a chance. I used it exactly as recommended, removing it using a washcloth, which might be why I didn't experience the "film" other reviewers have talked about. It removes my makeup and leaves my skin supple and clean. I will definitely be incorporating it into my regime.
Bree from Salt Lake City, Utah
I love the clean ingredients in this cleanser and that's why I wanted to give it a try. My skin is not sensitive so I had no skin irritation like some of the other reviews I've seen. This cleanser feels really nice and moisturizing, when you rinse it off it feels fresh and clean but doesn't leave your skin feeling tight. I love this cleanser, the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that it does not remove makeup. I wear a full face of makeup most days and when I use this cleanser I have to either wash twice or go back in with something else to remove the rest. I wish this product did it all but I'm still pleased with it.
Burned my face SO bad!
Julia from Corona, CA
I don't want to say don't try this product because everybody skin is different. But I have NEVER had a reaction to the skin care out there with all the bad ingredients in it. Never had a reaction to anything being put on my face. I went into Ulta asking for a face cleanser with no bad ingredients. By the way I'm not allergic to anything. I was recommended this milk cleanser. As I'm washing my face with it I was so happy because it felt so moisturizing to my dry skin. And then immediately after rinsing it off my face was burning sooooo bad. I had to run out of the shower because my face felt like it was on F I R E . I was shocked at how red my face was when I looked in the mirror. There is something in this product that is not good for you. I know it's not an allergy because I'm not allergic to anything. And I have put the worst products on my face before with no reactions! My advice I would stay away from this product. However if you do want to try it. Just keep in mind you might have a reaction like I did. It seems to be common with this product...
Great face cleanser
Polly from PA
I love this face wash. I read some of the comments and am surprised it caused burning for so many. A few other comments mentioned it not taking off make-up well. It does say to massage it into your skin and remove with a cloth. I think that's an important step... don't just rinse it off. I take my mascara off with another cleanser, wash with this one, and seldom find left over make up on the cotton ball when I then use a toner. I am sold on this product:-)
