How to Use

I've had this for over 10 years (I know sounds gross, kinda) but that just goes to show how built this finger nail clipper is. I absolutely love this. I cut my finger nails regular and use to always have to deal with buying new one since they always break or get weak but since I've had this one from my college years I never needed another one.
I have always thought Sally Hansen to be a good brand. I bought two sets of these clippers one for nails and one for toes. Both sets were dull and the top arm of the clipper broke off during my first use of the clipper. I could not believe they were not usuable. I should have returned them but, the store is one half hour away and I did not.
Horrible construction of this product.

Easy to clip your nails with the widened lever that comfortably keeps your thumb in place.

Tool was stiff and blade not sharp. Hard to trim finger nails

Super heavy duty to cut both finger and toenails. Cuts very cleanly with no jagged edges. I love these. Am going to buy about 6 more to keep all over the place and in my purse and car. Feel really good in your hand. Some clippers hurt your hand as you squeeze them because they are made too sharp or thin on the edges of the lever. This one is smooth and has little bumps to hold your grip. Love them!

I don't understand the bad reviews. This clipper is so precise, that it cuts perfectly and smoothy. The lever is also easy to press and doesn't slip. I have other clippers (that I'm going to throw away) that don't cut cleanly and they actually hurt since the levers are pointed. These are amazing. I own 2 pair and want 6 more for the car, purse and every room....

Works great on the hands but not on the toes - even my child's feet. But for the hands it is just fine.

Not a good product

I thought these would be like travel clippers for on-the-go, but they were so hard to use! I could barely make them cut! I thought the little, short design would give more control and power, but I had a hard time pressing down hard enough to make them cut.

I am a guy. I bought these because of the "paddle" design of the lever. All other nail clippers have small levers that are difficult to control. But, and it is a very big "but" is that the cutting edge just sucks. It does not cut evenly or cleanly. It requires filing the nail edges afterward. And, requiring someone to soak their nails prior to clipping is ludricous. Change your production process so that there is a sharp cutting edge and I will gladly give it 5 stars. And, you will not to be able to make them fast enough to keep up with demand.

These clippers were wisely designed with the thumbprint indention on the top. So many other brand clippers are flat, causing the thumb to slip. The indention keeps the thumb in place--nonslip. On an added note, Sally Hansen also has a great design with its nail polish brush, with wider, flat bristles. It's much easier to paint nails, compared to using some other brands.

I have thick nails and I have been looking for a replacement nail clipper for one that broke. I was hoping this would do the job but I find that it does not always cut he nail cleanly, I sometimes have to pull the cut part of the nail off. I'm bummed since they looked sturdy and had a wider handle to make it easy to hold.

Cheap. Didn't clip my nails, just bent them. Not strong.

Bought these because other nail clippers I was buying broke easily. My nails aren't really thick, but I was tired of having to trash two-week-old clippers that had dulled or bent too soon. So far, these have cut nicely and are easy to handle.

Sorry, but it's very hard to find a good nail clip. This is not one.

Clippers are not sharp. Pulled my nails and had to press hard to clip.

Nothing fancy. Gets the job done. Good price too

This product just did not do as well as I hoped. It was hard to squeeze the clippers. Although it cut my toenails well, it did not do well with my fingernails. My fingernails were too soft I guess. When I used it on my fingernails, it did not cut them cleanly. They tore and peeled. I've had dollar store nail clippers that worked better.

Brought this today. As a guy with thick fingernails I finally found a clipper that can trim these wolverine claws. There is one thing would you please add a rubber coating for a strong grip. Thanks
