Most Helpful Positive Review nice blush for mixing, cheap packaging This has definitely grown on me. I purchased nude burn impulsively because it looks so similar to glossier cloud paint and flower beauty blush bombs. The packaging is considerably flimsier and cheaper looking than both of those. My biggest qualm is that I really struggled to peel off the seal of the tube, it just did not want to budge, something must have been wrong with it because I had to pretty much shave it off with a knife, which left the edge of the applicator rough and makes it not very fun to interact with. Also, when I finally got the seal off, the tube was overfilled so a ton of product just oozed out uncontrollably, completely wasting maybe a dozen uses worth of product. So every time I use it I look at the ugly edge of the applicator and remember that experience and feel mad. I expect a lot in regards to ease and elegance of use, even for drugstore prices. THAT BEING SAID, this is a great product, particularly for mixing with other gel-cream/liquid blushes to create custom colors. When I first got it I blended out some of that wasted product on the back of my hand and it looked very patchy. So far that has not been my experience in actually applying it to my face though. I've been using this every day mixed with the flower beauty blush bomb in pinched for a super natural sunkissed color on my fair neutral complexion. Despite my negative initial experience, I'm considering buying fuschia spark as well, here's hoping that I won't struggle with the applicator seal again. All things considered, while not an exact dupe in color or formula, this is a great very affordable alternative to glossier cloud paint, which I think is the whole point of how this is being marketed.
Most Helpful Critical Review No pigment at all, cakey and annoying Worst blush ever, Was so disappointed as i love maybelline, their long lasting lipsticks are awesome, and same with any other product ive tried from them. i was so happy when i got this and went to test it. its basically just thick water with the tiniest amount of pink. i was expecting it to be loads more pigmented, I even used about half the bottle but there was no noticeable pigment. I love cream blushes, And i was looking for something like in the i heart revolution cream blush pallet, thats a good product for the same price that comes with more colors. seriously, Im so disappointed. I will use it up, but it literately has no use.

It's so incredibly patchy and hard to blend. It's somehow pigmented on the fingers but takes a lot of product to actually build up on the face. It took off the makeup I hand under it too. It's a pretty color but not worth the money for what you get.
It's weird? 3

I like it but I don't like it. I got the shade nude burn and it's a cute color but it can be incredibly patchy. Sometimes I'll be applying it and I'm like... ok where is it lol. I think that patting it into the skin might be best because when you try blending it in, it disappears. It disappears from your face but your fingers have the pigment instead. When I opened it, I'd say the tube was 75% full. Not worth the money even as someone who wears a lot more natural looking makeup.
Light and pretty 5
Ryce from NC
I am not one for a very rosy cheek. Light tint is usually what I look for with a little build ability, so for me this is perfect. The texture is strange but I put my cream products on the back of my hand and emulsify them before putting anything on which makes for a better texture.

Cap was on so tightly and had sharp edges. Even my teenage son who weight lifts couldn't loosen the cap! I eventually used a knife to puncture it open. Product had a nice consistency but color faded really fast.
:/ no pigment 3

It's so light, like a tinted moisturizer more than cream blush....just get cloud paint
Fuchsia Spark 5

I love the color. I recommend going a shade darker if you want it to appear such as this one. My skin is olive and this color blends in perfectly and naturally with my skin. When this product gets old it doesn't work the same, hasn't happened to me but it has to my cousin.
Love it! 5

Love the shade and creamy color.
No no no!!! 2

This is by far the worst liquid/cream/gel blush I've ever used. I picked up the shade Coral Ember and was so excited for it cause the color looked beautiful, a nice peachy coral color. But as soon as I applied it and blended it out, the color disappeared. No pigment what do ever and if you want even the smallest amount of pigment you practically have to use the whole tube!! You don't get a lot of products either. A total fail!

I saw a large number of negative reviews on this product, and I got curious because I really love this blush. The reviews were all saying that it has no pigment, but I think maybe some people expected a highly pigmented cream blush. Cheek Heat is advertised to "Create a sheer flush of color instantly with this oil-free, water-based formula that glides onto the skin leaving behind a soft natural-looking dewy finish"
This product does exactly that. It is sheer, but again, it fits the targeted demographic, the no-makeup makeup kinda girl/guy. This blush blends best with hydrating or light bases, but it works on powdered and liquid foundation as well, it doesn't smear it off or disappear overtop whatever face products you have. But yeah it's my top drugstore cream blush! So TL;DR this product is best for natural makeup people :))
(For reference I wear 100 Fenty Pro Filter Matte Foundation and Tarte Shape Tape 8B and I have the shade Nude Burn)
not enough color 1
Mollyki from Illinois
Just not enough color - I have the 20 color - it goes on smooth and has a nice glow - but, it doesn't last. Within an hour, the glow is gone and no color remains. Also, it's too cumbersome to apply for a cream blush - a stick or pan are so much better for application. This one is quite wet and hard to tell how much to use. I tried layering it, which works a little better, but then I have to put blush on twice and that doesn't make sense.
Obsessed!! 5

I LOVE this blush!!! A little bit goes a long way but it helps my fait skin look sun kissed! Really blends well too, I applied a small amount to both cheeks by dabbing it on with my finger tips, then blended upward using a blush brush and it looked really natural. For reference, I have very fair skin with pink undertones.
Pale as a ghost and no color 1

Literally no color. Disappears immediately. I am a redhead and have been told my skin is ghostly. I am the palest shade is most foundations. Don't buy. Cannot build it. Basically water with tint.
TRASH!!! 1

I swear this is the worst blush i've ever purchased. If you already got this product mix it with a blush you like, otherwise, DONT GET IT. I love the idea of a cream blush BUT THERES NO PIGMENT.
Not enough color 1
Toni from San Antonio, TX
This product was easy to apply but it did not color very well, I had to add multiple passes for it to even look like I had any on. And this color is supposed to be very bright.
TRUST ME, DON'T BUY IT DARLING!! 1

Listen if you're reading this please ignore any rating above a 1 star. It's literally watered down pigment!! When you apply it on your cheek nothing shows up because it rubs all of!! I had to mix this with my broken blush to make it into its own blush so it wouldn't go to bloody waste!!
Completely sheer 2
Nikki from Tennessee
Was really excited to try this in place of a Clinique blush stick I typically use. This color payoff was a complete disappointment with little build-ability. Overall would not recommend.
Maybe for a No Foundation Day? 2
Bailey from Orlando, FL
Super weird texture. The "gel" aspect just makes it super slippy, and it fades pretty fast. Picks up anything you lay underneath it, so it would maybe do well if you just spot concealed and then put blush on- but there are way better cream blushes at this price point that you can wear over foundation and on their own. Saw someone claim this was a glossier cloud paint dupe and that is not the case!!!! Besides the packaging, there is no comparison.
The colors are nice.
So bad ! 1
Steph from Bakersfield
The worst product ever ! Literally had no pigment at all !
Not my favorite, might be good for cream blush beginners! 3
CaliMH from San Francisco
I'm a cream/liquid blush junkie and I was very excited about this launch because I really like the Glossier cloud paints. I purchased Nude Burn but for me personally, it was too sheer and blended away on my skin. I was not really a fan of the gel formula although I do enjoy using the Em Cosmetics serum blushes. Perhaps others who are new to cream blushes would enjoy it - just not for my taste.
Good natural color 4
Judiah from Tualatin OR
Very easy to apply and pretty natural looking. Not quite as good as Cindy Joseph's Boom Stick but a much better price.
Great Product! 5
Rebecca26 from Savannah, GA
I've seen reviews that said the product wasn't pigmented enough, but I was pleasantly surprised by this product. I have fair skin, strawberry blonde hair, and green eyes and the Nude Burn looks great! It is sheer upon application, but it is buildable to add more color. It is also not too shimmery, which I like. The product creates a very flattering glow. I was worried that the color would be too neutral, but it's the perfect pink shade for my skin tone (not too light or too dark). I started with a very small dab to gauge how much I need to apply. I like that it is buildable because it prevents from applying too much and is user friendly for those who are just beginning to use cream blushes. I also have combination skin and the blush is long-lasting on my skin. I'm so glad I bought this!
Just don't 1
sad customer from salinas, ca
I used this product on my bare face thinking it would give me a light flush of color...but there was literally zero pigment once i blended it in after 2 seconds. Super disappointing, I got it in shade CORAL EMBER. Save your money.
I love this! 5
jam from Los Angeles
I'm dark-skinned and picked up the shade Fushcia Spark. First, it's really beautiful on bare skin. People are saying it's super sheer but I haven't found it to be too sheer. It's the right amount of color that you'd want in a blush. I always apply it with my fingers and then blend it out with a sponge. I've tried it on bare skin and over foundation and love it both ways. It can life a bit and not place exactly the right way but it hasn't been too much of a problem for me and I really love this stuff, would highly recommend.
Patchy and hard to blend 2
X from Mid Atlantic
The colors are beautiful, but it is hard to apply. I really wanted to like it. It takes a lot of work to get it on right (including wiping it off and starting over). Once it's on right, it has good lasting power.
Beautiful sheer blush 5
Lisa R from Phoenix, Arizona
If you prefer a lighter coverage blush then this is for you. It gives my skin a nice wash of color. It is buildable to a point. I feel as though the color stays long enough but if you are looking for a blush that is bolder then this might not be for you. I will try the other shades. I have the shade Coral Ember. Nice soft shade for Summer.
