Most Helpful Positive Review Yes I would buy it again I was looking for something to help break down the psoriasis plaque on my scalp. I've tried every shampoo and conditioner you can think of. I tried d sugar scrubs, salt scrubs I even got desperate and used rubbing alcohol to try and help break the thick patches on my scalp nothing helped and the scrubs were to harsh and hard to get to work into the scalp. I decided to see if I could find a detoxing shampoo and this popped up so I thought what the heck I've tried everything else have spent countless dollars on stuff that just didn't help so what's it going to hurt. I decided to drive and pick this up the next day so I could use it and I can honestly say it helped a lot!!! It is slimy stuff not gonna lie on that and a pain to get out of that jar would be better in a squeeze bottle but none the less it helped. It helped to break up the patches on my forehead next to my hair line it also cleaned up some of the heavy scaly patch I get right on the back of my scalp close to h.the base of my hair line. Did it clear it up completely NO. Did it remove alot of it YES. I am using it Evey other day for now along with Paul Mitchell tea tree shampoo and conditioner for thinning hair. I use it on my elbows also for the patches I have there as well and it has helped to dry them out and smooth them up. I use a OTC psoriasis lotion daily also. I decided to do this review and I know it's a long one but I know there has to be others like me who are dealing with psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis as well who have the scaly patchy crust crud on their arms and scalp who've tried countless products and nothing has helped. I'm not saying it's gonna help everyone and sadly the next person who tries this stuff it may not help at all but there wasn't a review like mine for someone who tried it for psoriasis help so that's why I did this.
Most Helpful Critical Review How's selling a product containing plastic loving our planet I will be returning this tomorrow. THERE SHOULD BE A WARNING LABEL ON THIS PRODUCT! It contains Acrylates Copolymer, as another reviewer also stated. It's a microplastic! They don't tell you that. You can have an adhesive allergy with use. In individuals allergic to one or more specific acrylates, direct contact with acrylate monomers produces classic allergic contact dermatitis. The dermatitis is usually confined to the area of contact and may cause itching, burning, scaling, hives, and blistering. Acrylates copolymer is a well-established microplastic. It does not just disappear once washed down the drain, and wastewater systems cannot remove the plastic particles during water treatment. Fish are ingesting the microplastic particles, but humans eat them too.

I've been looking for a sulfate-free shampoo that keeps my scalp feeling clean, but doesn't dry things out and make my scalp oily. This shampoo smells great and has a nice lather, but it's a little too harsh for me. My hair is greasy in a day or two; other shampoos I can go 3 or 4 days with no grease.

it's like a detox for your scalp!! It smells amazing and left my hair super clean!! Didn't have to wash my hair for days afterwards.
Great For The Price! 4

Well, for it being my first scalp shampoo I was really impressed! It really helped with my dandruff, especially using it alongside the Love Beauty And Planet Hemp Seed Oil Nana Leaf Scalp Serum ! The only issue was that the little exfoliating beads were difficult to wash out, and it was hard to scrub the shampoo thoroughly into my hair, which is why I rated 4 stars instead of 5.

I was disappointed after reading all the great reviews. The scrub is hard to work into my hair. Once I get it to my roots, I think it does a good job of exfoliating the dead skin and build up. But then, it's so hard to wash out! My hair feels so rough and disgusting that I have to wash my hair again with my normal shampoo, which I'm probably not supposed to do.

Not what I expected 1

I don't like this product. It doesn't seem to clean my hair well at all. It's hard to get out of my hair. It doesn't foam or get bubbly like a regular shampoo.
Not sure about it yet 3

I'm still trying it out. I feel like it's making my hair greasy.
Better than I imagined 4

My 4c hair was amazed. After researching and looking at recipes, this shampoo scrub showed up in my searching. It was jelly like, which didn't bother me. I parted my hair and applied and rubbed in circles while saying positive affirmations. I jumped in the shower to rinse and it took a while because I used quite a bit. I used a deep conditioner afterwards due to my texture. 4b in the top and 4c in the back. I was pleasantly surprised. My hair was soft. I felt some of the beads during rinsing but not enough to be bothersome. After I toweled dry I oiled my scalp and put in about 8 cornrows and put on my silk bonnet. I will use this as needed, probably 3 times a month. The smell is amazing. I prefer minimum ingredients so after these 2 jars are gone I will probably make my own. Would recommend.
not really very natural, but helped exfoliate my hair 4

A few years ago, I had a hairstylist use a scrub on my hair, and it made everything feel so much softer and less crispy. Thanks to the pandemic, I haven't had a haircut in a year, and my ends are getting very crispy and crackly again. I'll get a haircut soon (I HAVE to, finally). But in the meantime, I just wanted something to get the crackly stuff off my ends, and this worked. I do think this brand is guilty of greenwashing, because the ingredients aren't really that environmentally friendly, but since this will be an occasional use thing and probably not a repeat buy, I'm not that upset about it. Just wish they weren't using it as a selling point. The one my hairstylist used was more of a conditioner-type moisturizing scrub, but this was the closest I could find, and I'm mostly happy with it.
I WILL always buy this! 5

This product is literally the ONLY thing that has saved my scalp after being forced to wear a hat every single day at culver's for over a year ! I started using this product fall of 2019 and it has worked miracles!
If you struggle with oil/seabum buildup, dandruff, or eczema this is the product for you!!!!!!!!!
it's okay 3

I really like the smell. The texture is kind of like a thick jelly so it's better if you spread as much in your hands before applying to your scalp so it doesn't gloop in one spot. It does lather nicely and I feel it cleaning, but it is soooooo hard to get all those little scrub pieces out of my hair. I have to rinse forever before I can feel it's completely clean. You do need to do a deep conditioning afterwards because it leaves your hair dry.

Dried Out Scalp 3

Detox shampoos are usually the only ones that prevent my hair from being too oily, but this one takes it too far. It dried out my scalp entirely and doesn't wash out of hair easily. Highly disappointed.

Apparently I can feel guilt free using a product with Acrylates Copolymer... not. Just wondering if I've wasted several gallons of water to wash plastic beads out of my hair? Love Beauty and Planet I'm leaving the shower disappointed, not guilt free.
Super great for buildup 5

I have lots of buildup because I use so much dry shampoo but this shampoo got rid of all of my buildup, make sure you rinse out of the exfoliate! It prevented my hair from getting greasy but didn't strip my hair of its oils.
Defied my Expectations 5

I bought this product as part of a couple "spa day" items that I bought for myself. I didn't really know what it was or what to expect as I have never used a product like this. But wow, this really changed my hair game! I used it that evening and when my hair dried / the next day, it felt like I had hit the "reset" button on my hair. My hair feels incredible clean, light, and healthy. Tip: I only used a little bit of the product at first, but then went in with a second generous helping to really lather it up, and I think it really helped (my hair is also super thick though, so just one mid-sized scoop is probably enough for medium/thin hair!)

This is one of the worst shampoos I've ever used. It is so greasy and makes my hair feel like it's somehow getting dirtierÂ

Didn't work for my family. I like the philosophy behind the brand. But need to like the product as well. I don't dislike the scent, but just did not see any difference in my hair or scalp. Really inexpensive and you can buy at your local drug store. I have three boys with dry scalp and my husband didn't help them either.

I thought it smelled awesome. Different kind of smell but still good. Although it did a good job and made my hair feel very clean. I have dryer hair and I wouldn't recommend it. I honestly was kind of disappointed. But for the right type of hair I would recommend it!

Wow, what a game changer! It is a product which is gentle. It feels goid. And leaves your hair and scalp clean and refreshed! Great on sensitive skin on the head!
Would buy again if it was easier to rinse out! 4

Loved the smell and how my hair felt after, but it took an extra few minutes to get it out of my hair. The texture was a bit odd and hard to get out of the container, but I think it worked well!

This shampoo scrub was okay. I have to have some kind of scalp scrub for my dandruff, flakes, itching & product use, still searching for "the one" I enjoyed the jelly formula which made it easy to apply directly to my scalp, the high lather and fine grains made sure no spots were missed. Didn't make my roots squeaky, which is good cause that makes them flat. It didn't 100% clear my scalp of flakes&product like others do, but about 90%, if I didn't loosen everything by soaking my scalp in witch hazel b4 showers I'm sure it would be lower than that.
Tangled my lengths very very badly but the stripping was not the worst I've had. The deal breaker was the black beads, after trying to get rid of them with a regular shampoo after this one, my hands were still showing those black beads while applying my conditioner.
