Bought one for my mother for mothers day and have been borrowing it since, can't wait to pick one up for myself! Very strong so make sure to comb through your hair as you dry or else it will cause a rats nest and a half. Gives you immense volume no need for salon visit blowouts anymore!
Most Helpful Critical Review Disappointed! I've had good luck with 2 BaByliss Pro Carrera dryers in the past, and when my GHD dryer broke last week, I decided to go with another BaByliss from my local Ulta, rather than go without a dryer for a few days while awaiting delivery. I chose the Ceramix Xtreme just because it was cheaper than the Carrera. I should've spent the extra! I prefer the narrow attachment nozzle for any dryer I buy, and while this does have that, it spins around constantly, like it doesn't lock into place. I'm forever having to put my brush down and reposition it, dry another section, repeat. To the point where I really can't style my hair while drying it. The high setting has massive power, blowing my hair all around, and the medium doesn't quite have enough power for my needs. The control switches are positioned up and down and are relatively flat and smooth, making it difficult to switch heat settings and power setting during use. The toggle style switches like what's on the Carrera and GHD are so much more user-friendly! I'll be returning this and going with the Carrera again.

Although this dryer had a high speed I found it to not smooth my hair enough. Not sure if it didn't have enough heat or what. I found it to be heavy also so I returned it.

The Blow Dryer worked well on drying my hair so no complaints on that - my only negative draw back on it is it's heavy! So my arm tired while drying my hair - I guess I'll get a good arm workout. But what dissapointes me most is when I travel and have to pack it in my suitcase, it will add extra weight to my suitcase and I'm usually alwys cutting it close with packing my suitcase to full and going over the airlines weight limit :(
I would have prefered a lighter hair dryer

This hairdryer is horrible! Works for about a week or so then starts to smell burnt and feel like it's going to blow up!! My cosmetology school ordered them for us and mine isn't the only one that isn't working anymore! Definitely buying myself another brand!! DO NOT GET THIS

I have curly hair with lots of flyaways, so I need good concentrated heat to get my hair to dry without frizz. I love this blow dryer and how quickly it dries my hair. Leaves my hair really soft and with less frizz.

I have never spent more than $20 on a blow dryer, usually getting the cheap ones. This time, I thought maybe I'd invest a little more for something better. I'm really glad I did. This leaves my hair very soft and smooth, and dries it quickly. It's not as compact as my other blow dryer, though, so I can't store it as easily.

Although I did try this out in the store it was only to make sure that the cool setting actually blew out cool air, unlike the Conair I was returning because it blew out very warm air on the cool setting. I did not think to pay attention to the strength of the air coming out. Went to use it and it blew my hair around like I was in a windstorm -- on the lowest setting with a diffuser attachment!!! NOT GOOD!!! So glad that Ulta takes returns without any hassle. I'm hoping third time is a charm with the Hot Tools Tourmaline Tools SuperLite Turbo Ionic Dryer I picked up as a replacement. Although the cool air comes out slightly warmer than the Babyliss, it is cool enough once it gets through the diffuser and the air seems to blow gently enough not to make my hair a big frizz ball. Stay away from this Babyliss if you have curly hair!!!

I have very curly hair, which doesn't even reach my shoulders, and still takes 8+ hours to fully air dry. I'd been on the hunt for a hairdryer with a cool setting for quite some time. Returned the Conair because the cool setting felt hot to me. Finally figured out that we can test the display hairdryers at ULTA (duh!), and that is when I settled on this one. However, once I got it home and used it with my diffuser I discovered that while the Cool setting is indeed cool (YAY!!!), the Low speed setting still blows my hair around quite a bit through the diffuser. I am not thrilled with that, but for the price, the amount of time I've already spent hunting for a hairdryer, and the fact the weather is cooling down more and more so I don't want to be running around with wet/damp hair, I've decided to keep it. Even with the 20% off coupon, this is still the most I've ever spent on a hairdryer -- my last one probably cost $20 and lasted about 20 years (it still worked, but didn't have a Cool setting except for the Cool Shot that had to be held down, which is why I finally ditched it).

It definitely shortens dry time, but you have to keep brushing through your hair to keep it untangled. I have lots of Babybliss products, so I really wanted to love the hair dryer, but I do not.

Great hair dryer. My hair dryer unexpectedly died (it was a tragic event) ran to Ulta and picked this hair dryer and so happy I did. Dried my hair quickly and left it shiny.
