Most Helpful Positive Review Used It For My Sensitive Shedding Scalp So I bought this to see is it would help my sensitive scalp Shedding. I made sure to get all my shampoo & conditioner ready before I started my application of Castor Oil. I also put on a tank top I really didn't care about (gotta pull it over your head to remove). I brushed my hair, then parted it down the middle. This stuff is super, super thick. I poured it in to my palm and rubbed my hands together, using my fingers I made parting motions and rubbed and rubbed as much as I could in to my scalp. The back a little hard to do so I flipped my head upside down and did the same motions in the front (like I said, its thick so it doesn't drip). Once I was happy with the amount on my scalp, using finger combing motions I worked the product to my hair ends. Then I gently massaged it in using circular motions. After I was done I took a large clip and clipped it all up to let is sit on my scalp for about 10 min. I decided to shampoo my hair twice to ensure full removal of the Oil. I did conditioner my hair too. I was really worried this stuff would not all be removed but it was. I have never ever had my scalp feel so soft. Usually when I brush or touch my scalp I have to be gentle (I feel like I've made it this way because of all the root touchups I get done every 3 weeks). I cant not believe I have not heard or tried this before. My scalp feels wonderful & smells good to. Now of course this is my experience but maybe this info will help just one person. Stay Safe
Most Helpful Critical Review Sticky I'm not sure if this even works, I didn't want to put it on my hair cause it has the texture of maple syrup.

I love this!! I've used it for one month and already seen a difference in myself. It strengthens my hair too! My eyelashes and eyebrows got thicker and longer. I even put my grandma on. She was balding but every few days she'd massage her scalp with it and her hair started appearing more.
Amazing for lashes 5

Yes this oil is very thick, however if you want to stimulate growth whether it's your lashes, eyebrows, or hair, this works WONDERS. My lashes are so long it looks like I have fake lashes! It took me about a week to see a difference, you have to be consistent and apply it every night.
helped me grow my lashes! 5

it is a little sticky, but helps grow lashes pretty quick. i've only been using this product for a couple weeks and can already see a slight difference!

I use it on my lashes, eyebrows and scalp. I work it all over my scalp and then into the rest of my hair. I wrap my head and let it sit over night. I have never seen hair so soft and shiney until I did this. It's sticky and thick and might put some people off, but it's only like that bc it's the real deal.

Great for lashes 5

It's cheaper than an eyelash serum, doesn't sting my sensitive eyes, and makes my lashes shiny. Can't vouch for growth just yet since it's been less than a week.
Good for oil cleansing if you have combination skin 5
Oil Slurper from OH
I use this to oil cleanse. I use a little, not a whole lot because that means you'd be too rough on your skin trying to get it all off. Sometimes I'll use a hot cloth on my face and let it set, but most the time I use a water based cleanser to get it all off. Really helped me combat my acne. I haven't been able to find a brand that doesn't make their castor oil all wonky so this is a holy grail for me. I also use it for my hair and it helps with dry scalp.

Great for eyebrow and lash growth! Makeup Primer??!! 5

Loving this as a eyebrow and lash growth serum! It's only been a week and I already feel like the tails of my brows look darker and thicker. Also I've been using it as a primer/moisturizer under my eyes and I swear it helps keep concealer and makeup from creasing. It's slightly tacky but not sticky. Also makes a great lip balm.

i used it as a treatment for hair loss. apply to the roots of your hair and leave it on overnight with a shower cap on and rinse off next morning. only used it once and already noticed hair fell off a little less.
A wonder 5

Castor oil is an amazing oil. It has a very low comedogenic rating which means it's very unlikely to break you out (as always, when you change your regime it will effect your personal ph and current skin environment.) It's not meant to be used alone as an oil cleanser so, be mindful to pick up a carrier oil (other low comedogenic oils, do a search online for a list that matches your needs) because YES, IT IS STICKY. It hydrates, unclog pores, increases cell turnover rate and more. For oil cleansing my face I add castor oil to apricot seed oil or sweet almond oil with a little rose oil, apply to a dry face (or make up, great on heavy make up) completely, massage skin well, use warm water with your hands or soft cloth. Some prefer to use only a cloth to wipe but I do prefer my favorite cleanser. I have combination/sensitive skin which is oily, dry patches and aging. It helped regrow my eyebrows and eyelashes from immune and extreme stress issues- like the other person, apply a little to the eyelash or eyebrow hairs before going to sleep- it will work. It also helps to apply a little to very dry lips and cutiles before bed. It's been so helpful to me and it lasts forever.
Best Moisturizer 5

Nothing has been working on my skin this summer and my skin has been insanely dry. I've heard crazy hair uses for Castor oil but when I found out you can use it as a moisturizer I just had to try it. So far it's been amazing and my eczema hasn't been bothering me on my arms as much. I'm excited to see how it does when the heater kicks on this winter.

I use a Q-tip to put a little on my lashes before I go to bed. Been using this specific one for months and I definitely see a difference! And more importantly it's cold pressed
