Most Helpful Positive Review Beautiful Color, Feels great. great price!
I usually don't gravitate to nude colors, but S'more Please is such a beautiful color! I love how moisturized my lips feel and makes them look great! I was surprised how long the color lasted after the 'gloss' effect was gone. My lips felt great all day! This may replace my usual lip balm!
Most Helpful Critical Review Pretty!
I got this yesterday and thought I would love it. It smells like fruit punch, feels super nice on your lips, and looks SUPER pretty at first. It has lipstick coverage, but in gloss formula. However, after a couple hours of wear, it looked bad on my lips. It kind of started to bleed even though I used lip liner. I tried to reapply, but it still didn't look that great. You may need to wipe off and start over every time you apply. But it may just be me. I'm a matte gal. I have the shade jawbreaker and it's literally gorgeous! So if you love a gloss and don't mind reapplying often I would recommend it!

The product came out such a pretty color, but the product also made my lips really tingly and almost like a numbing pain? I don't know if it's me, but a lot of people seem to be reacting to the product the same way
Julie from Houston, TX
The packaging and bright color is super cute, but I can't wear it at all. I noticed a warmth that escalated to a slight burning, then finally a numb feeling in my lips shortly after application. I rode it out the first time wearing, but it barely stayed on. Came off on everything at the slightest touch. Later attempts at wearing it caused a more severe reaction, including tingling and numbness inside my mouth and throat. Overall disappointing. I've been wanting to try a blue lipstick for a while, and this was an awful first experience.

This lipgloss scares me. It feels unusually cold and wet and it BURNS. Not in the "good" way like a lip plumper. Lip plumpers tend to feel like pepper, this feels like acid on the lips. This product feel like it's got weird, unnatural ingredients and I don't like it.
Can't stand this
Sarah from Gaithersburg, MD
This lip gloss is an absolute disaster, but I think it's the disaster everyone deserves. After everyone and their mother being super obsessed with lip glosses not being too "thick" or "sticky," this is what companies are going to come out with—something so thin and watery that it moves all over the place.
When you first put it on, it's amazing. Opaque, rich color, incredibly high shine. But God help you if you accidentally touch your lips together, because it is slippery, thin, and wet, and will move all over the place. I never get lipstick or gloss on my teeth UNLESS I'm wearing this one. Then it's a guarantee.
And within 5 minutes—5!—it will have already mostly faded and begun to feather out all around your lips. It also settles into the fine lines on your lips, which I can barely believe is possible for a lip gloss. It's hideous.
I am usually a HUGE fan of NYX lip products and am trying the Butter Gloss next. I can't believe this one was such a miss. I can't believe there are so many positive reviews, but I guess everyone is just so glad it's not "thick" or "sticky" that they automatically give it 5 stars without even doing a basic 10-minute wear test.
Here's a pro tip: if you want a lip gloss that lasts and stays on your lips, it needs to be "thick" and "sticky." If you can't handle that, stick to lipstick.
To much product on applicator
Rah from Temecula
I kind of wish the smell was a bit stronger and by stronger I mean sweeter like watermelon, but instead it's more chemically and it seems like the stopper on the tube is broken, giving more product than necessary in application.
Leaking and staining everything, but otherwise okay
helperman from Seattle, WA
As a product, it was great! Instead of using it like how they show it in the ads, I use a very small amount and use it as a lip tint/stain. And it works really work like that! I like how it "fades" and such. I have the color "Sweet Stash" and using just a little bit, it makes a very nice color that looks fresh and natural looking (even though it was designed to be bold, but I liked using it like that).
The biggest problem was how the bottle kept leaking. I don't know why, but there was always product leaking from the cap, so I can't put it near my other cosmetics. I put it on a separate table and wipe up the excess that it leaves. It's extremely inconvenient, and because of that, it's not very portable.
But seeing other reviews, I don't see many people having problems with that. So I might buy this again. But if the leaky bottle happens again, I'll be returning it immediately.

It's Pretty Good

I do like it. I got a red color and it went on more of a pink color, but once it dried it looked more red. Definitely does not stay, though. I do love the tube it comes in!
Burning my Lips

Looks pretty in the tube, but when it's on your lips it's cakey looking.

I bought the Sweet Stash to replace the NUDESTIX in Fresh Fiji that I purchased (and immediately returned). And NYX did it again!! Creamy, smooth dried nicely and long lasting color. The Sweet Stash was my 2nd color purchase in the Candy Slick line and I'm going back for more!!!
Sugarcoated from Idaho
I got the color "Sugarcoated Kiss" which is a really pretty peach nude, as advertised.
Pros: glossy & smooth, not sticky, definitely a pigmented gloss.
Cons: It started to make my lips tingle about thirty seconds after applying it. It doesn't sound like it is meant to dry down, & it doesn't.
KJ from NYC
I love Nyx butter glosses and thought that this would be just as good but it applies very streaky and patchy. I can't get an even coat of color without my lips being drowned in gloss. It also stings a bit even though it's not a lip plumper. Wouldn't recommend to anyone!

Not pigmented thick gloss, but not a lot of coverage just heavy
It makes my lips really numb
Lacy from Camden, Arkansas
It makes my lips really numb, but I like the color. The texture is bearable, but the numbness in my lips feels really uncomfortable.. It doesn't say that it has lip plumper in it so what is it?
Meganleigh from Bordentown, NJ
This lip gloss is like a hybrid between gloss and lipstick. It goes on really smooth like gloss, but it feels and looks a bit like lipstick once it is dry. I put it on then dab it with my finger to tone the shine down a little, and it looks great! I also like the applicator a lot, it makes it easy to apply. I'm not a person with a lot of makeup experience and I could do this successfully, so that's also something! Obviously there are some cool colors here and they would be great for going out, but I think the lighter more natural colors are perfect for casual wear. I wear it to work and have gotten a lot of compliments! You do have to reapply it occasionally, but I think that depends on the person. I drink coffee throughout the day and I also bite my lips sometimes, so I reapply this once after lunch usually. Very wearable and comfortable for all day. I really like it!

This lip gloss is really watery and applies terribly. would not recommend.
Great Feel and Color!

Only problem was that in my seven hour school day, I had to reapply five times because the color had pretty much vanished after about thirty minutes to an hour.

I love this product and plan to buy other colors
Not for me

It didn't last long. I felt like it disappeared in a hour. It left my lips feeling dry. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. Wet and wild has better lip products. I usually really love NYX lip products.
Really Love this product

I usually like NYX products, but this was very slimy and thick, and did not have good color to it. It was almost see through and caused my lips to feel numb. Won't be buying this product again.
Suprised but I like this a lot
Staci from Wi
Read the other comments about the texture, this is like half way between a liquid lip and a gloss/stain. Its weird but I love the smores one. Was an impulse buy and I dont regret it
Hard to describe
Minnie from Lacey, WA
This product is the weirdest consistency. It's like a liquid lip, a gloss, and a stain had a baby. Upon application it feels like either a thin gloss or a thick liquid lipstick. It took about a minute to dry down, at which point it felt and looked more like a stain. It wasn't particularly shiny, but it wasn't matte either. I have Cream Bee and love the color, perfect my-lips-but-better shade for me. It didn't feel tight or like it was drying my lips out. So far I like it.
