I bought this eyeshadow palette along with the creamy blush from the same Candy Castle set. At first I used the eyeshadow without eye shadow primer and the colors weren't as bright, but did give off a nice subtle natural look. With eye shadow primer, however, the colors were gorgeous and vibrant! I recently dyed my hair a very "cotton candy" pink and this palette just looks amazing with my pink hair. Also, the smell is amazing! Awesome color for the price point.
I haven't bought much from Colourpop but this was so cute I bought it immediately. I was so excited and I opened it and thought it was the cutest palette I owned.
Then I tried to use it. *Face palm*
It did not work well. The pastels were so light that they barely showed up on my light skin and adding more to build it didn't work either. Some of these colors just won't build up. Some shades are powdery. The purple was a disappointment. Yes I used a primer and yes that was the only time I used this palette. It's not worth the time it takes to create a look. It does look cute on my vanity, I guess.
I love pastels and I have quite a few pastel palettes. My Makeup Obsession palette, Dream With A Vision is a good alternative to this. It's the same sort of pastels, except they actually show up on your eye, blend nicely, and last all day. Don't bother with this palette unless you are picking it up because you're a collector.

i got this as a gift for my friend. they absolutely loved it. they said the colors were beautiful

This is a very pretty palette, however, leaves a lot to be desired. The shimmer shades are really lovely but the matte pastels have very, very little color payoff. I was pretty disappointed with the color over primer.

I genuinely don't understand the people saying these colors don't show up on light skin. I'm sure on darker complexions these colors would absolutely look washed out but on my pale skin they show up fine. The glittery white is my favorite and I love using the mint in my inner corner for a fun pop of color!

The color payoff is sheer on all but 2 or 3 colors and the majority of the pastels just look white on the eye, im fair and they don't show up. That makes this really a 4 ish pan palette. Unless you are buying for the packaging alone, hard pass.

This palette reminded me of carnivals from childhood. With the cotton candy colors and whimsical palette design. All that was missing was the candy scent. The color story is fabulous, minimal fallout, long lasting, creamy smooth formula. This is one I reach for again and again. Even the mirror is cute. They packed a lot into this little thing.

Packaging sucker, and I love the colors so I bought it. These people in the reviews just need to use a primer. Yes there's fall out, it's a cheep palette and if you use a primer and layer the color it looks great. The colors are great to match with trendy outfits

The colors are very washed out and color payoff is extremely light. This is the worse pallette they've made ti date! The brown on the lower right and the coral on lower left are the only 2 that show up and I have very pale skin. Dont waste your money!!

Confused on all the reviews ab bad pigment and it being chalky? My only issue was the white came broken but nothing that can't be fixed with a little rubbing alcohol. Not their fault that ups are aggressive with packages lmao

It smells like gingerbread and normally light colors dont show on my medium skin but this one did and the shimmery colors are really pretty. One bad thing tho is i dropped it a few feet and the white color shattered, so the quality isn't the best but it's not expensive so what do you expect.

This is the worst colourpop palette I've ever bought, and I own a lot. The colors are really chalky and not pigmented. Only thing going for it is the cute packaging.

Use for a pop of color alone or in combination with other.

quality just isn't there. the matte shades are ok but the "shimmer" shades are just a chalky matte with specs of glitter, the glitters are ok. overall I would definitely pass unless you're like me and just like the packaging.
Mariah from Houston
I really enjoy this palette, and using eye primer I have noticed eye makeup stayed on all day. The blending is amazing and the colors are so great for everyday bright looks. Def suited to warm tones. The powder is very loose, but with primer I have not had a problem.

The only good thing about this palette are the shimmers. The mattes are mediocre. The glitter pastel shades are worse than literal chalk pastels.

Beautiful colors, easy to blend. Absolutely obsessed with this !

This palette was great. It didn't look cakey and some of the color stayed all day. Made my eyelashes look sparkly as well as my under eye. The only bad thing is that the sparkle stayed on the lid for days even after washing. Overall, I would recommend.

As a colourpop fanatic this palette is by far their worst. Listen to the other reviews.
Wisco7 from Wisconsin
I love the packaging and theme it brings me back to my childhood. BUT the formula is horrible, no pigment and chalky. Do not recommend if you are buying it to use everyday
Randa from Nevada
Over all great palette definitely would recommend.

While the shades are pretty. Garden Variety has similar shades. However, the green is a different tone than the Candy Castle palette. The ColourPop Garden Variety palette is so much better. SKIP THIS ONE boo! I wished I had bought mine from Ulta. I would've returned it.

Pigment is not there which is disappointing for a colourpop product.

I see what people are saying about fallout, but however I do like subtle colors and you can build up on them to make a bright look. It's a beautiful palette and the packaging I love. The only negative thing I will say is that they could of done a 18 pan palette with both pastels and bold colors just like candy land

Compare to Colourpops other shadows this has NO pigment. I cant even build it up. its adorable though more of a collector item
Ari from Orlando
patchy, chalky, fallout, no pigment. cute packaging tho
