Miracle worker

Comments about Dermadoctor Calm, Cool & Corrected Tranquility Cream:

This stuff is amazing. Yes it's pricy but it's worth it. I have redness on my cheeks mostly but just an overall problem with discoloration in my skin. I noticed a significant difference after one use. Honestly couldn't believe it. It's soothing and my skin feels and looks fantastic. I have very dry skin and so prefer a thicker night cream but I've been layering with this first. So happy I purchased this. It's going to change my skin!!!

Comments about Dermadoctor Calm, Cool & Corrected Tranquility Cream:

I am not cheap by any means. If a product is amazing I'll pay for it, no matter what my husband says. But why do skin creams and serums have to be so expensive. It's just crazy to me, so unless I can put this on and see an improvement and protect my skin in the future it's not worth it.

Great cream, not for everyone

By Val

from Philadelphia

Comments about Dermadoctor Calm, Cool & Corrected Tranquility Cream:

I got this because I have pink in my cheeks that's visible when I am pale, and since it's winter my skin usually needs some extra moisture. I have combo skin, a solid 50/50 when it comes to dry/oily. The kakadu vitamin C cream by Dermadoctor worked wonders for my dark spots, brightened my skin, and cleared my acne. Ever since using this, my skin isn't as blemish-free as it was with the kakadu C...but it does FEEL less irritated after cleansing with their AHA acne cleanser than it did with kakadu c. Since my skin is extra sensitive in winter and I feel like it's really protecting it from the cold and harsh environment, I'm going to finish it and then return to kakadu C cream. This cream was only meant for winter, anyway. I can say that with my knowledge in skincare, anyone with truly sensitive skin or rosacea would probably SERIOUSLY benefit from using calm cool and corrected. I use acidic products to clean/exfoliate/tone and this is the only moisturizer that feels safe to use in the winter when my skin becomes more sensitive to my other products

I use this every night. I have roseca and it seems to calm it down a little. Its a little pricey so I use it sparingly.

I love this product!! I'm 52 and have been using it for the past nine months. At times my face gets flushed from hormonal fluctuations— or if the wind shifts!! This face cream immediately takes away the redness, in fact it appears to even prevent it. My skin has never looked better and I've had amazing compliments on it!

Comments about Dermadoctor Calm, Cool & Corrected Tranquility Cream:

I found out about this product my senior year of high school. I was on accutane and was getting my brows waxed before my senior pictures and after I had gotten them waxed i noticed that my eyebrow area felt more irritated than normal. My mother looked over at me and multiple layers of my skin was missing. We didn't know this at the time but accutane makes your skin incredibly thin. So we went over to ulta to see if there was anything they could do. They gave us this cream and I kid you not that not even 30 minutes later my skin looked almost back to normal. It was the most incredible product and I've never had so much faith in a product like this before. The only downfall is the price.

Comments about Dermadoctor Calm, Cool & Corrected Tranquility Cream:

After being told that I have Rosacea by an Ulta employee (I knew I had pinkness in my skin, but had never been officially told by any doctor/dermatologist that I have rosacea), I purchased this product on her recommendation. I have seen huge results in the decrease in redness of my skin, so this definitely works! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the price. Since it works, it's worth it, but I also found another one that works just as well for less than half the cost and about the same amount of product (La Roche-Posay Tolerian Ultra). I will continue to use this and not return it since it does work, but I will probably purchase La Roche going forward.

One of the other responses says that zinc is the active ingedient. I can't find it on the ingredients list. That form of zinc is known to be really good for rosacea. Is it under a different name? Is it really in there? Thanks!

              A:

It should be listed under active ingredients as Pyrithione Zinc 2%. Hope this helps!

          • Q:

I had a light burning feeling when using the matching cleanser. Used the cream right after and it's still there. Is this normal? Or am I having an allergic reaction?

              A:

You might patch test the cleanser on your arm to see if you get the same reaction. Make sure you are not allergic to Pyrithione Zinc 2%, the active ingredient, or the other inactive ingredients--all should be available on the Ulta product page.

Is this product good for eczema?
Asked on 5/18/2017 by MR from Chicago

            1 answer

            • Brand Expert

              A:

It's specifically made for those who suffer from rosacea, but the calming and hydrating ingredients (vitamin E, hyaluronic acid, aloe vera, chamomile extract, squalane, shea butter) could also be beneficial for preventing eczema breakouts. Check with your doctor for treating active eczema!

          • Q:

Is this product only for people with rosacea? I don't have rosacea, but once in a while I get acne on my chin that will have little redness, so I am looking for a moisturizer that wont break me out but will leave clear skin. Can I still use this product or is it not for this purpose?

              A:

This calming moisturizer is ideal for sensitive skin that is prone to redness. It is noncomedogenic (non-pore clogging), so it is safe to use on acne-prone skin. We definitely recommend it for you!
