Most Helpful Positive Review Hooded Eyelid WIN! Cake Pencil Eyeliner is the ONLY pencil liner I've ever used that did not transfer onto my hooded eyelids! Women with hooded eyelids, follow these tips: 1) skincare free eyelids, 2) nude eyeshadow covered eyelids, 3) wait to open eyes fully for a few minutes after applying liner. A few more reasons this eyeliner has quickly reached my Holy Grail status: a) It is so extremely versatile. I drew a precise yet soft upper lash line & wing, easily filled my upper & lower waterlines AND achieved a smudgy lower lash line all with this one pencil! b) zero irritation to my sensitive eyes EVEN when using on waterlines! c) didn't collect in my tear duct after a few hours like most eyeliners. d) removes easily with my Garnier Micellar Water All-in-1 Normal & Sensitive Skin Waterproof on a cotton round. ( FYI: Bioderma Sensibio H2O Micelle Solution Sensitive has a very hard time removing. Softymo Speedy Oil Cleanser removed the swatch off my inner arm easily, but I can't use oil cleanser around my sensitive eyes. ). A few other things to note: Only when wearing my eye cream, it traveled into my under eye creases and did not set. It will flake if it's applied into lashes and rubbed. Cake liner in the shade Trooper is less shiny & not as dark black as the same shade in Tattoo liquid liner. I received this eyeliner free from Influenster for my honest review.
Most Helpful Critical Review Flakey but pigmented I wanted to love this so much but sadly it wasn't to be. The end broke off with a little pressure, it was difficult to apply and flakey too. I had to smoothen with a small precision brush and apply a couple of coats of shadow under my lower lid to get it to work. Sadly I don't believe this is worth the price tag. It lasted throughout the day without touch ups and I love that the color was so intense even on my darker skin. They are also Vegan and Cruelty Free so I'd feel good spending my coins on them. I was hoping this wouldn't irritate my eyes... it did. I've been looking for a new eyeliner and mascara, I would like to stick to a more organic/natural/cruelty free product, I guess I'll keep searching.

I love this eyeliner. It's probably one of the few that does not leave me with raccoon eyes. It's so creamy and dark black.

Definitely is very thick and opaque. I used the white shade for wings and set with a white shadow because it didn't stick perfect— only reason for 4 stars instead of 5. For less dramatic looks I'm sure it would be perfect.

This is a pretty good eyeliner. It wasn't dry like some of the reviews said. It's possible those people got a "bad batch", which the Ulta employee said they would replace if so. It glides on smooth, but could be a little better. I'm happy with it, I would buy again

Gave this liner a try. The color is super pigmented and beautiful. The pencil is small and awkward to hold while applying. The liner itself is a little flaky and transferred onto my lid too easily (after I applied it and opened my eyes, there was a thin line on my upper lid from the liner. I did wait for a little before opening my eyes and I applied setting powder). This liner would work well if you're not looking for a smooth, perfect liner and don't mind a slightly messy look.
