I use sweet almond oil and a drop of rose essential oil. After gently massaging in, I use a powder puff to apply the product and it glides on and gives a good coverage without any heaviness. Because of the texture, using the sponge absorbs too much product and wastes product, and it tugs the skin and it is harder to apply. The translucent color is perfect for me. It is as if I have perfect skin without appearing to have makeup on.
