A lightweight, quick-absorbing spot treatment specifically designed to target large, under-the-surface bumps or cystic acne breakouts. Buffering Lotion works overnight to help reduce the appearance of existing bumps. Gentle ingredients (like allantoin and niacinamide) help normalize skin and improve the look of troubled areas.
Shake well before applying directly onto affected areas with clean fingertips. Use every evening. Do not apply anything over the Buffering Lotion (such as moisturizer or night cream). Do not use this as a preventative product; it should only be used when necessary on active blemishes. Do not apply to eye area. If product gets into eyes, rinse well with water.

Precautions: Not recommended for use with topical prescriptions or sensitive skin. Avoid contact with the eyes. If contact occurs, rinse well with water. If skin irritation develops and persists, discontinue use.
Isopropyl Alcohol, Propylene Glycol, Zinc Oxide, Hydrolyzed Yeast Protein, Glycerin, Niacinamide, Panthenol, Allantoin, Biotin, Isopropyl Myristate, Stearalkonium Hectorite, Pyridoxine HCl, Propylene Carbonate.

Comments about Mario Badescu Buffering Lotion:

This stuff is amazing for large pimples. I've struggled with acne for almost 10 years, and I had been using prescription creams from the dermatologist. I finally decided I was done with doctor visits and expensive creams so I bought a ton of Mario products. The first large pimple I received on my chin I used this product for 3-4 days. It took the pain away after day 1, which is amazing. Everyday after it minimized the size. I still received a post acne mark from the pimple, but it looks much better than what it would have without this product. This is such a huge improvement for my skin, and I will never be without this product.

Comments about Mario Badescu Buffering Lotion:

This stuff is amazing. I get severe cystic acne on my chin, to the point where they will swell up and look like someone punched me in the face (even if I don't pop them). This buffering lotion is an amazing spot treatment. I recently had 3-4 cysts on my chin/cheek area and this stuff either cleared them up or reduced their size/inflammation within days! It does however dry up your skin on the areas you apply and it smells like straight up rubbing alcohol. But I'd rather have dryer areas on my chin than the cystic acne. I will be buying this stuff again!

This product is so amazing! You apply it on your acne spots or blemishes at night, and when you wake up the next morning, they have either decreased in size or are completely gone! I tend to breakout easily because I love to wear makeup and "beat" my face and this product is just what I've been looking for! Thank goodness I read the reviews and bought it! I love the Mario Badescu skincare line!

Comments about Mario Badescu Buffering Lotion:

This product was not what I was expecting. My sister's roommate has this and raved about how she saw results overnight after using it, so I was excited to try it out. But the consistency is so weird. I was expecting something closer to a cream or sediment, but instead, it's a watery liquid that you're expected to put a few drops of on to your fingertips. And no matter how much I shake the bottle beforehand, the product is so runny that hardly anything actually makes it to my face. And after a week of using it, I haven't seen any results. I'm not sure if this is because so little product was able to stick to my pimples, or because I don't have the type of acne this product is intended for - I've seen in the comments that it works marvelously for people with cystic acne, and mine isn't quite that bad, but still whiteheads that are stubborn and reoccurring, so I was hoping for some results but didn't get any.

This is my second bottle of this. I have combo skin and pretty clear usually. I breakout only during my ovulation cycle along my chin. This hormonal acne sometimes is cystic and this has helped me keep it under control and eliminate it. I shake well and apply with q-tips only on the affected and let it stay overnight. Usually the next day the pimple that was beginning to form would either have gone down or be completely gone.

I've had large almost cyst like acne spots on my chin and cheek area that I just cannot get rid of. They got super inflamed so I picked this bad boy up and bam! They all went down in about 2-3 days. The next day I could see results right away. I will continue to use this product I love it.

The Drying Lotion and Buffering Lotion are designed for different types of breakouts. You can use our Drying Lotion for whiteheads as a spot treatment overnight. Our Buffering Lotion should be used to spot treat deep under the surface breakouts. We do not suggest layering these spot treatments.

The Buffering Lotion should be applied after cleansing and toning, however we do not recommend using a moisturizer after.
How to use: Shake well before applying directly onto affected areas with clean fingertips.
