Comments about Real Techniques Brush Crush 301 Foundation Brush:

I love RT products and saw this brush and thought it was beautiful. It says its a foundation brush but I've never used it for foundation. this is more of a all over powder or bronzer brush for me and it works beautifully!

    It's okay

    By Dee

Comments about Real Techniques Brush Crush 301 Foundation Brush:

It's an okay brush. I've had cheapers brushes from other low end makeup brands perform better. I agree with other reviews it shreds like crazy and alot! I've used it multiple times and each time I've had bristles stuck to my face which is quite annoying. When i took it out of the package it felt soft but it was a little prickely when tapping/bouncing product into the face did hurt a little, but after using it, it got better didn't feel it as much. Also it might of been user error because i didn't wash it at first like i should of totally admit my fault so I recommend if you do get the brush don't skip washing and conditioning first. The streaking issue happened at first but again probably because I didn't wash. I've used it with light foundation(skin tints) and full coverage and had little to know streaking. I think it really depends on the product. because ive have expensive brushes that work great with some foundations and horrible with others. all in all its an okay brush wouldn't really recommend though. NYX has better brushes and cheaper.

    Adorable and Effective.

Comments about Real Techniques Brush Crush 301 Foundation Brush:

I purchased this on a whim... I don't use brushes for foundation, but I thought this was too adorable not to purchase. To my surprise it works really well.
It's hard to reach my under eye area and I don't trust it's preciseness to get too close to my outer corners of my eyes (eye shadow first).
Other than that, it worked really well with my It Cosmetics foundation.

Comments about Real Techniques Brush Crush 301 Foundation Brush:

I bought this brush and a few of the other brush crush brushes. The others were great but this one just did not work for liquid foundation! It was very prickly and rough and it left streaks and did not blend the foundation well at all. Just terrible for liquid foundation. However.. I cleaned it, let it dry, and used it for my mineral powder foundation and it worked flawlessly! Not a bad quality brush it just doesn't do well with liquid foundation.

Dream brush. Crazy soft, doesn't soak up foundation, and makes it so easy to blend!! Perfect!

Comments about Real Techniques Brush Crush 301 Foundation Brush:

I wanted to like this brush, but sadly, it didn't work for me. As soon as I took it out of the package, the bristles were falling out. I used it anyway with my liquid foundation and didn't like it at all. It was a bit rough, left streaks, and I had bristles on my face. I'll be returning it.

I bought this brush because I love Real Techniques and fully trust them as a brand. Plus this brush is gorgeous! However, I was very disappointed upon trying this brush. It is super rough feeling when applying foundation and leaves streaks. I only wish I had saved my receipt to return this.

I LOVE this brush. It is so soft on my face. It is good for an everyday foundation look, mostly because it makes the foundation feel very light weight on your face. It would not be good for someone who wanted a full coverage foundation look. For someone like me (I don't like full coverage throughout the week, just on weekends if I go out), this brush is great!

            the frenemy brush

            By missy

            from sc

Comments about Real Techniques Brush Crush 301 Foundation Brush:

so...gorgeous brush. top to bottom this brush is stunning and it sucked me in. It's duo fiber and it's DENSE...seemed like a match made in heaven. downsides...the fibers at the top are soooo synthetic they kind of stab your face when you use this to pat. when you can't stand that anymore and decide to swipe, streaks. like, everywhere. the first time I used this brush I was so sad, I really didn't want to keep it merely because it's pretty. but there was an upside in MY experience...washing helped. oil and conditioner did help soften the bristles. and that helped with the patting technique, now I use a combination of patting and swiping and if swiped/blended long enough it does apply foundation streak free, it just takes a little longer. it has it's faults, but I think if you work with it a little you could learn to love it for more than just it's beauty.
