          Comments about Laura Geller Bronze-N-Brighten:

I have fairly light skin. I usually use the lightest or second to lightest shade of foundation. This bronzer works great, it is light enough yet dark enough to give me the tan effect around my hairline, without looking orange. It is also perfect for adding a bit of contour to cheeks and sides of nose. It blended well with my foundation and powder. Also, I have dark spots, redness and acne scars, and this also covered well in the areas I used it. So that was an added bonus. Very even and slightly shimmery effect. Not overly shimmery.

Definitely choose medium! However, I would use a brush that is light and fluffy and not too dense. This way, you can control the amount of powder that gets deposited onto the skin. Enjoy!

There is no difference at all! All of our powders are baked. This means that they start their lives as a cream. Then, the cream is poured into terra-cotta tiles and literally baked in an oven for 24 hours. During the baking process, the cream hardens and forms a powder. This will enable to powder to glide on the skin so easily and bendable. And it is very lightweight! Enjoy!

Hello, I want to purchase this for my mother and would like help picking a shade. In the winter, my mother has a medium skin tone (it cosmetics CC cream in medium). She wants to wear something as a blush/bronzer. Would the fair be too light for her? Do you think the medium would work? I want her to have an easy time using this as a blush/bronzer without it looking too intensely dark on her. I appreciate your help, thank you.

This is the perfect item for that blush/bronzer combo! I would definitely go with the Medium for your mom. Suggest using a brush that us light, fluffy, and not too dense. This way, it will grab just the right amount of pigmentation and the color will not be too intense. Another shade to consider is our Blush-n-Brighten in the shade Honeysuckle. This shade has the perfect amount of pink and bronze, similar to the Bronze-n-Brighten. http://www.ulta.com/baked-blush-n-brighten?productId=xlsImpprod5120053#

Based on the information you have given me, the fair bronze-n-brighten would work best for you. This has more swirls of pink in it, yet it'll still deliver the warmth that one desires from bronzer. If you would like more intensity and a richer, deeper tone, go with the medium.

If you want a true bronzy look, go with the medium. Start slow and build until you reach the level of color you desire. The fair is much lighter with a lot more pink in it. This looks gorgeous as a blush, but if you really want that sun kissed glow, go with the medium :-)

I would not use this to replace your face powder as it has a very bronzey tone. It will not even the skin tone out like a regular face powder. It will add gorgeous pops of color to your cheeks or complexion, so I recommend using it wherever you might contour (on the cheeks, on the forehead, and chin). Enjoy!

What is the difference between the Bronze-N-Brighten in Medium and the Gelato in Gilded Honey?
Asked on 11/8/2015 by Lana M from Fargo, ND

                          • Brand Expert

                            A:

Bronze-n-Brighten is a baked bronzer that contains multi-pigmented swirls of color- brown, taupe, white, and pink. This gives you a true bronzed up look and can also double as blush because of the slight pink that it contains. The color is very pigmented. This product should be used either all over the face for an allover bronzed look, or wherever you would contour to create natural shadows (under cheek bones, on either side of the nose, under the law line, and around temples).
Gilded Honey is a baked illuminator. This product does not bronze the skin, it simply gives a healthy radiance in a gold tint. This can be used all over the face for allover luminosity/radiance, or it can be used as a highlighter to the high points of the face (on top of cheek bones, down the center of the face, under the eyebrow, above the cupid's bow).
I actually like using the Bronze-n-Brighten to add a bronzy color to my complexion, and the Gilded Honey to add a healthy glow and radiance. Enjoy!

Go with the medium bronze-n-brighten. It'll be deep enough to give you that warm glow, and it can also double as a bronze natural looking blush. Enjoy!

I just received the one in Medium As a gift. I use the balance n brighten in Tan in the winter and deep in the summer. I'm looking at this and it and wondering what I could use this for. It seems kinda light for me. I swatch it and it has some pink. It's beautiful I don't know what to use it for as I'm a dark olive completion.

Based on all of this information, it does seem to me like this product is too light for you. Because it contains gorgeous multi-pigmented swirls of color, such as pink and taupe and brown, you can certainly use this as a blush. Sweep it on the apples of your cheeks and up along towards your hairline for a natural looking flush. It'll also add a natural looking highlight because it has some lighter shades too. You can also use this as an eyeshadow. Enjoy!
