Comments about John Frieda Brilliant Brunette Luminous Color Glaze:
I never review products but I feel like I needed to with this one because I saw that many people have said they did not like it....however for me this was wonderful for refreshing my brunette color...it really looks natural and makes my hair feel smooth and healthy...did not deposit too much color...if anything it was just subtle...but that is just what I wanted...subtle by fresh....I will definitely be repurchasing! I just hope it does not get discontinued like everything else I end up loving lol hope you like it as much as I do!

Comments about John Frieda Brilliant Brunette Luminous Color Glaze:
This product allows me to delay permanent hair dye for about three months because I can hide the growing out area around my ears and roots.

Comments about John Frieda Brilliant Brunette Luminous Color Glaze:
I like this product enough to keep coming back to it on and off. I started using this years ago to tone down and cover up natural highlights from spending time outside. It did a great job evening out my hair color and didn't cause any damage. I've come back to it recently to see how it would work with grey hair (mine is very dispersed and just makes my hair look mousy). It works great for that too!
The consistency is a bit gel like. I pretty much put it in my hair similar to how I apply shampoo, but it's a bit odd coming out of the bottle and trying to disperse it. I take my time to make sure I really work it through every where - the color payoff for me is enough that it shows if I miss an areas. Then I pin my hair up while I shave and rinse when I'm done. It smells the same as the shampoo and conditioner. That's something that took me a while to get used to when I started using this line of products.
The only 2 things that are less than amazing are 1) it can weigh my hair down and cause it to get oily if I use too much at the roots and 2) I worry about it staining my hands even though it always comes off.

Comments about John Frieda Brilliant Brunette Luminous Color Glaze:
The smell wasn't too bad. It did stain my hands and dried my hair out some. I was hoping it would help tone some of the brassy red/orange out of my hair, but didn't see any difference. Will be returning product.
Comments about John Frieda Brilliant Brunette Luminous Color Glaze:
I bought it thinking it would balance some of my brassy tones now that my redken gloss is gone, but no such luck. It doesn't smell bad, but it did dry my hair out and had no effect on color.

Comments about John Frieda Brilliant Brunette Luminous Color Glaze:
I swear by this product. It adds shine and manageability, and lengthens the time between salon colorings. I start using it after each shampoo about 2 weeks after coloring to keep the color rich and keep greys from showing.
For a while I couldn't find this product anywhere. I was so happy to find it again at Ulta.
