Comments about Color Oops Brass Color Correcting Treatment:

This is essentially a 5oz bottle of purple conditioner. I love Color Oops. I use it all the time, so when I saw this, I had to try. I struggle with very brassy hair. My hair is resistant to lightening and I always have to do multiple processes to get it to the ash blonde that I like. So once I get it there, I need a product to help me maintain. I used this once and I think I'm going to toss the rest of the bottle in the trash. I have a pixie cut and I needed half of the bottle just to coat my roots. It is very "pudding" like with a semi-gel consistency. It doesn't want to spread, it sorta stays where you put it, so the product doesn't go far. (Even on damp hair.) Then when I rinsed it basically barely effected my brassiness and really only stained my ends blue. (It did wash out the next time I washed my hair though.) I didn't even really pull it through the ends either, so it must have just grabbed the more porous hair during rinsing. I'm not impressed.
