Most Helpful Positive Review Perfect for no-makeup days!
I was looking for the perfect face SPF for a LONG time. I've tried a lot... and I was looking for one that was versatile that I could wear under makeup, or on it's own. This is it! There are a ton of YouTube videos of beauty gurus reviewing this product, and after watching plenty of those I decided to purchase.
My favorite way to wear it is to apply it after cleansing my face with CeraVe hydrating cleanser, applying my niacinamide from The Ordinary, and a thin layer of CeraVe moisturizer from the tub. I just use my fingers to apply it all over my face and then a brush to even it out since it does have a little bit of coverage. It feels super moisturizing when you apply it, but avoid lips and eyebrows and hair because it will stick to those areas. That is why I use the brush to apply it more thinly around those areas.
I have mostly been wearing it on its own since I haven't been leaving the house except to go for walks outside, and it seriously looks as good as some BB/CC creams do. It evens out the skin tone amazingly, and I am pretty fair and the tone matches well. It does look orange when you squeeze it out, but applies and matches well.
I have also tried applying my ColourPop Pretty Fresh tinted moisturizer (my favorite) over the top, and let me tell you - these two products work AMAZINGLY together. My skin looks flawless, and even more so after some concealer and powder. This is my new Holy Grail combination. I like a 'no-makeup' look, and this is perfect. It wears really well throughout the day too, but don't forget to reapply SPF.
Cons - the only thing I don't love is the smell. It has a self-tanner smell to it almost, but it goes away once you put it on your skin. It also sticks to the skin in between my eyebrows since my eyebrows are so grown out (quarantine life), but if I'm freshly waxed or plucked it looks great.

This is extra disappointing because it's close to being perfect! My gripes are that it's pretty drying and I moisturize SUPER WELL. I have pretty normal skin too, not too dry lol andddd it's a little too dark, and gets even darker when I reapply. I would rather look a little pale from a white cast than ORANGE lol and my last gripe which is a pretty big one, is that it irritates the heck out of my eyes. I'm talking watery all day, and puffy at end of day. If that was the only negative though, I could use a different sunscreen around my eyes, then concealer to blend it with this. This is also not a huge deal, but I lost the lid today because it has a screw off lid. A flip cap would be SO much better! The plus side is it has a beautiful, matte finish that looks like you set it and it does a great job of blurring pores, It also smells great.
I'll stick with Sun Bum mineral or Bare Republic! I think I'll go wash it off my face now and do a moisturizing mask lol

This is a review for the tinted face sunscreen in fair/light.At first I was a little weary because the sunscreen claims to be matte and looks darker than my neutral/fair complexion. I hate wearing foundation as it makes my skin dry and makes me look old, I was very shocked to see the color was a good match and so was the formula. It is not too drying and stays put. The coverage of the sunscreen is not too bad either, if you are only looking to cover redness this one is perfect! Would buy again.

I absolutely love this. I use it everyday with no issues form breaking out or my makeup breaking down. It's also great for no makeup day.
My everyday facial sunscreen
Karen in Kent from Kent, WA
I use this tinted sunscreen every day. The tint blends easily and is not drying, although it is oil free. I do not break out and it gives just enough coverage to even out my skin. I do not wear foundation. Only concealer under eyes. It has a natural finish
My favorite tinted moisturizer
Erika from CA
This is my favorite tinted sunscreen. It is SPF 50 and mineral sunscreen so it doesn't sting the eyes like chemical sunscreens do. I can make sure I apply around my eyes to reduce aging from UV rays. The coverage is light and never looks "cakey" like foundation would. Its also very reasonably priced! I will be sticking with this for a long time!
good if you have OILY skin
tara from Oregon
So this is the most mattifying sunscreen I've ever used. I have normal to dry skin and it was never going to work for my skin type. However if you have oily skin I would try this. This sucks up oil like crazy.
LOVE this stuff!
Taylor from Nc
This product goes on feeling like soft, bouncy mousse and dries down nicely with no transfer. It feel natural, light-weight, And has good coverage on mid 20s skin! I will often times use this all over my face, simply apply bronzer and a highlighter and call it a day! It's wonderful. I cannot day enough about this product. I bought a "back up bottle" in case I run out and can't find it.
My go to mineral sunscreen!
Renee from Deland, Fl
I am a Mac NC 45. There is a slight cast on my skin but for a mineral sunscreen, I'm still pretty impressed. Wearable without makeup especially if you are wearing a mask. Works well with makeup. It's not greasy. It's affordable. The spf 50 is a plus. I have tried several mineral sunscreens and this is one I will keep buying especially because of the price point.
Sunscreen plus primer in one!
Joviolin from TX
I bought this based on a YouTube rave review, and it truly is a dream product. It gives such a matte, yet smooth finish that I don't need a separate makeup primer. If I top with a little powder, I can even use it as a light-to-medium coverage foundation. I love that it doesn't come out white and "liquid-y" like many other facial sunscreens. I ordered the medium to tan skin tones and it matches my skin well.
I buy this product over and over.

I love this product because it has works well, is easy to apply and can be worn with our without foundation
Kaedyn from Michigan
The best sunscreen is the one you use. I use this every day. There's no white cast and it doesn't smell like a beach. I have the lightly tinted one. Perfect for every day to prevent premature aging. I've bought this 3 times now.
My new go-to sunscreen
indiangirlneedingsunscreen from CA
I have been searching for the perfect sunscreen forever and I finally found it. Lightweight, no white cast, not oily or sticky. It doesn't make my dry skin or eczema worse and it blends in super easily. My sister has medium Indian skin and I have a skin tone quite a few shades lighter than hers. This sunscreen works well for both of us (it goes a little dark on me but I'm okay with that). Taking one star off for the price (kind of expensive for how much product you get) and how difficult it was to find. It was sold out everywhere, including the website for months. If you have any hesitations about buying this sunscreen, go for it!
Tenacious and matte
teadivamuse from Colorado
This is the longest wearing sunscreen I know. I use it mostly on my body in the summer months when I garden for hours at a time. It stays on in 200 degree heat. I remove it by first using an oil cleanser, then follow with regular shower gel, SOAP etc. It dries down matte so not s good product for my dry face. It 8s one of the most effective and budget friendly mineral SPF available. Like that it now comes in 3 stages, too.

I use this as my sunscreen and last step in my skincare routine but I would also recommend for someone who wants a light coverage moisturizer/BB cream/foundation! I apply a dime size amount to each of my cheeks, forehead, chin, and neck then just blend in with my fingers. It dries down very nicely, to an almost powdery finish but not drying. This doesn't make my rosacea flare up, irritate my very sensitive skin, or emphasize my dry patchy skin. I absolutely LOVE it and would HIGHLY recommend over and over and over again! Will repurchase until the end of time!!
My favorite sunscreen
Lisa from NY
I love this sunscreen because it's mineral based, and it doesn't leave a white cast! It's great for the beach or pool or golf, it kind of evens out of skin tone but I also don't care to wear makeup those days. I use on my whole body, not just my face, and my kids too. Just be careful, as it did stain my sons shirt.
Rich to deep skin tones
Taj from New York
I have done a lot of research for a tinted sunscreen for darker skin tones, which is pretty much impossible to find, and I came across this. I have brown skin that gets darker in the summer. I used the rich to deep skin tones sunscreen and it's just a bit too dark. It leaves a purply/whitish look on my skin. It doesn't look too bad once fully rubbed in so I figure I just have to go to the shade before this one. It goes on smooth and matte which works because I put on vitamin e oil before sunscreen. I also looked up the ingredients before buying on cosdna and the ingredients work for acne prone/sensitive skin.
My holy grail spf
Would recommend from Illinois
The best sunscreen I've used on my face, and can't beat the price. Goes on smooth, nice matte finish (I usually just add some blush and highlighter and call it a day). Has consistently kept my skin on my face lighter than the rest of my body so I'd say it's doing to job of protecting pretty well.
blends perfectly into my skin!
Morgan from Texas
I love this sunscreen so so much. Not expensive, and very effective! The tint also blends perfectly with my skin tone. If I was darker, this tint may be too light. This brand should offer more tinting options for darker skin toned people. Other than that, this sunscreen is marvelous!
Love the feel, hate the sunburn
emmajean from Oregon
I thought I'd found my miracle sunscreen. It's mineral based, feels lovely on the skin, and has a tint to avoid a white cast. However, I've burned three times while wearing it. I use about a quarter sized dollop to cover my entire face, so I'm sure I'm applying enough. At first I thought I must've wiped it off somehow, but now I realize it just isn't effective for my skin. If it can't handle a casual walk through a tree filled park, it's not a sunscreen I can trust. I've never burned on walks with any other sunscreen - even with a lower SPF.
Fair to light color
Swill from Indiana
This sunscreen is pretty amazing for the price point. It can be a little drying after a few hours but it stays put. If you get the lightest shade and find that it's too dark I found that putting a drop of any other mineral sunscreen with a major white cast in there will help. A drop of another sunscreen also helps with the overall dryness of the product and look. It comes off really well with any cleansing balm or oil.
Okay for tan skin
Sunny J from Chicago
I was looking for an SPF with some coverage that didn't leave my skin white, however it's very sheer and offers little to no coverage. I use it under my makeup though and I think it works well for SPF and to smooth out the skin.
M from Kruse Drive
This made me look ghostly. I'm a lighter skinned black woman and the tint did me no justice. The finish was nice and the perfect kind of matte I was looking for, but it was generally unwearable , so that doesn't even matter. I was so excited to be able to wear this without applying any foundation or separate BB creams, but it made me look like Casper, so no can do.
Best budget tinted sunscreen
Andrea O from AZ
I have oily skin and this is great since it has a matte finish and doesn't leave an oily/greasy look. It feels super lightweight in my face and the light fair tone matches perfect with my skin tone. My absolute favorite this summer! I don't find it hard to remove even when a apply various layers throughout the day (I use a balm as first cleanser). And the price is incredible I've tried other okay tinted sunscreens for half of the OZ and double the price.
Shelltop from New York
Rich tone did not match my complexion. I'm not sure which rich to deep tone complexion it will fit. It felt drying while on my skin which was more apparent after I removed it. I appreciated their attempt. The spf is 50 and it's a mineral sunscreen.
Nice matter coverage with great spf
Paige from Oregon
When you first apply this product, it is very sheer and shiny. But when it dries, it turns matte and provides coverage and even color to the face. I keep it in my purse to reapply throughout the day for moisture and spf. The only reason I took a star off is this stuff does not stay out with my covid face mask. When I take my mask off the product color is all over it. It would be nice if it could dry a little more and stay put.
Not my favorite
OSUJen from Fernandina Beach, FL
I really liked the look of the product on my skin and the fact that it was long lasting. However, it definitely caused me to breakout every time I used it. It's also hard to wash off. The only thing that would get it off my skin completely was an oil based cleansing balm.
