Comments about Australian Gold Botanical SPF 30 Lotion:

This sunscreen, while providing adequate protection, has horrible white cast and makes you not want to use it. I plan to bring it for camping, when I don't care what I look, but there is no way I would use it daily.

Comments about Australian Gold Botanical SPF 30 Lotion:

I use this as my daily sunscreen before makeup and it is amazing. I have been searching for a sunscreen like this for a long time and I don't think I will ever buy anything else. The only drawback is the fragrance. It smells really good but it could potentially irritate sensitive skin.

Comments about Australian Gold Botanical SPF 30 Lotion:

Th product left a terrible white cast on me which did not go away even after hours. I have heard great stuff about this brand. As much as I wanted to keep it, I could not use it with the white cast. I returned the product.

Comments about Australian Gold Botanical SPF 30 Lotion:

I wanted the tinted version, but at the time of purchase Ulta didn't have any ( maybe it's better). I use other non-tinted sunscreens that absorb well into your skin after a few minutes. This dries to a dry white mask- awful!!! I can not use this in public- good only for yard work in my backyard. To remove you really need an oil based cleanser- this stuff sticks to your skin and doesn't remove easily. I will be returning this and sticking with LaRoche-Posay or Ella MD .

Comments about Australian Gold Botanical SPF 30 Lotion:

I have used other mineral sunscreens before, as well as other Australian Gold sun products, and never had a problem. This product looked great in the store. Today my fiance and I went to the beach, applied this sunscreen every hour, and we are now both badly sunburnt. Also, it took me 30 minutes in the shower to scrub off the chalky white residue this product left all over my body... yes I said SCRUB, as in with a loofah and tons of soap, which really didn't feel amazing on my fresh sunburn. If I could give this product 0 stars I would. I NEVER write reviews either, but i wanted to warn other people about this horrible, ineffective "sunscreen". I intend to return this to Ulta and may write to the company as well. I can't believe this is endorsed by the skin cancer foundation!!!!

Comments about Australian Gold Botanical SPF 30 Lotion:

My dermatologist urged me to invest in a sunscreen that was a minimum 3% titanium dioxide for coverage
that blocked rays that cause skin discoloration from the sun. I was getting brown spots on my legs even though I was using sunscreen sprays 50 plus coverage. Since he treats age spots constantly (he's in Boca Raton, Fl) I decided to shop those sunscreens. This was the brand that left the least white cast but provided
                      the required coverage.
